I cant remember a game with a worse dye system than this.... i rather wish they did not add it, as now I have to deal with Jedi's or Sith in Pink robes..... no respect for the Star Wars setting at all.

Same thing happens with the sith race if i am not mistaken... looks horrible.

I just bought it, but have not used it in cutscene or dialog yet..... well then that is cartel coins wasted.... I really hope this will be fixed. I just hate stuff like this.

This I have to agree needs to be changed, man this is one stupid design decision. They must have known that this would make lots of people angry.

What excited me about this patch was the collection, I was like, wow did I just unlock this armor on all my toons... Ok then I will start spending some Cartel Coins, since it would actually be worth it. But no, I still have to unlock each armor on every character.... Bioware would earn much more money if they made armor unlocks account bound.

The first CE stuff in a long time, and not only is it not unique as it is all over the market, but the colors are some of the worst I have seen. Way to strong colors and not only that, but they are also locked combinations, so you can't just have the green color or the yellow color, not that I would want to. I don't get why they even have those items that has both primary and secondary colors.

An increase in repair costs, means that credits has increased in value. And what is the best way to get credits in the game? You buy stuff of the CM, and resell it in-game, which is a pretty devious thing to do to get more people to pay for stuff on the CM, but business is business I guess.

This seems to be one of the most disappointing events ever, not even a quest chain with any story.... The thing that truly separates SWTOR from the other MMOs is story, all other aspects of this game I can get from any other game. And it is impossible to do any of the quest as the empire is all over the quest zones camping and killing everything. I stopped playing WoW because of the reputation grind, if I have to do it here to play the story missions, then I rather not play.

I would like if you could at least decide which armor part to unify color from, but I fear that a dye system would ruin an allready damaged look system for this game. We already have Jedi Knights in Sith armor or Sith in Jedi Knight armor, or the even more stupid Troopers or Bounty Hunters in dancers outfit. To also have a bunch of these classes walk around in crazy intense neon green or pink would make it even worse. I actually loved the fact that some armors where faction and class specific, to remove this restriction has ruined lots of immersion on my part.

I am confused, you did all the planet quests and class story and did not even get max level. When I hit 50 I had half of Voss, Corellia, Illum (not that many solo quests), bonus series for Belsavis, Hoth and Voss left. I would be sure to check if you have missed some bonus series quest chains.

PvP, no question. Took me a few days to get a full sett of 61 mods for my armor, and I only play solo.

This system does not look great at all, maybe for new players it may be fun, but to me it is just a grind fest feature.

This is one of the most uninteresting features to a game in a long time, this is just another grind fest feature.

I would not ask for something in games like this without any effort, but at least make the effort you have to put in to gain something fun. This quest is the least fun quest I have tried to do in any MMO, it started of great until it became one of the most tedious and boring quests I have ever seen. And it is a companion that requires you to do group content, even when companions are used only for solo content most of the time. I would not care if it was something used in raids or such, but this is a companion, used for solo questing, not group content. It is not even challenging as many have stated, it is just time consuming. I doubt I will ever bother to do this quest, sure I will miss out on a companion, but I wont waste hours of my life doing something truly and utterly boring. It is by far the worst designed quest chain in any game I have played.

If I am not wrong, you can just go to the social vendor in Coruscant and buy the pants from the male set there.

I would love to see some more original colors that are not the stupid black variants. More colors with a white center, and make normal purple/cyan crystals easier to get so that I don't have to see all those ugly pink/purple crystals everywhere. Weird colors like pink/purple or black-purple etc etc should be much rarer than they are now.

Letting PvP players pay for new maps is a great idea to let Bioware make money, just see how many people pay for map packs in games like CoD and BF3.... And this game is filled with competitive players, so I would not be surprised if this could earn them a lot of cash. Cash they could use to make more content that could maybe focus on what makes this game different from other MMOs, and that is story based content. Will never happen, but one can dream Mu ha ha ha!

This is what I hate with mostly all the "speeders" in this game..... They should not even be called that... But what annoys me the most is the fact that those taxi services are exactly how speeders are supposed to be, fast and fun to ride.... With such large landscapes in this game, it would be really fun to ride a speeder, not Star Wars version of segways.

You have to understand that gear design in MMOs are mostly about placing illogical and ugly accessories on armors. Like stupid glowing effects, fire spewing from nowhere, or shoulder pads that does not fit the armor at all etc etc. Most of the time when it comes to MMOs, the best looking gear you find is the gear that drops early in the game.

The Jedi Knight armor we got is not actually the one from the character creation screen though, not that I am complaining as the one that was released is basically how I envisioned my JK to look.

I agree with OP, the other lightsaber colors make this game look like something else than Star Wars. It is just stupid that all these black-colored or purple/pink colored crystals are more easy to get than normal purple and cyan. I would give this site two thumbs up if it also included male version of all the sets. As many sets looks different for Female or Male, thus seeing only the female version does not mean it looks good on male. So I am giving it a thumb up and one to the side

End game gear in most MMOs looks stupid, they always think that more is better. Lots of flashy lights and weird stuff on your shoulder pads etc etc. It is odd really, because the design for PvP gear is mostly better than raiding gear in MMOs. Gear design has been one of my biggest issues with this game, and it took them a year to make an armor for my Jedi Knight that I really like, and that armor I had to spend Cartel Points for (Valiant Armor )

The monthly price is not really a trouble at all for me, and after seeing my brother play F2P and hearing about all the crazy restrictions, it just does not seem like a good idea to be playing the abysmal F2P option.
