What is the saturation of the market for CMC bought items. What is the demand for CMC bought items. Checking the GTN, CMC bought items appear to stay at around 2-3mill per (1.5mill per CMC). I have 10 CM certificates from the event. From a rough estimate it took 300 chips, that's 60,000 per certificate. Even if it's worse than that, it's way better than any source of them previously isn't it (except ancient Cartel packs)? I think the value of certificate items will go down. The certificates themselves are bound to legacy but I think the decos you can buy with them are tradeable and able to be put on the GTN. They're not talking about the Golden Certificates, they're talking about the Cartel Market Certificates which also now drop from this year's Nar Shadaa Nightlife event. The Cartel Market Certificates are BoL and you can only buy decos with them (three vendors on the Fleet, in the Stronghold section). Keep in mind too, since they consolidated Cartel reputations into one, you can raise your reputation quite easily using the Contraband Slot machine. So anyone can get access to those Bazaar vendors. If anyone is on Star Forge and wants to build up their rep., my Nar Shaadda stronghold has a Contraband Slot machine in the big room overlooking the balcony. Felusia Stato sells the chips and she is in my lobby. Name is Cedaric. Personally, I'm thrilled they are dropping and at a reasonable rate. I was hoarding them, but now I might freely buy some primary and secondary black dyes from the vendors. Wow, well that was a major derp on my part. I apologize. I completely forgot about the vendors in the Bazaar. Shows how much I go there or use those vendors. You are correct, the armor and such is BoP. And yeah, I think the concern about the decos is unnecessary. I don't think the OP was making any suggestion about it harming anyone and they didn't raise any issue with access to the vendors, they raised a legitimate question as to what others thought the market price would happen/be with these Deco's now that more CMC's are available. basically a would it or would it not have an impact question. Anyway, I'm glad that more certificates drop. I love the decos and can never have enough green bushes. I'm just under 40mil into the casino this time around (no kingpin plays unbuffed) for a net of 17 Golden Certs and 7 CMC. I figure this as an average cost of 1.6mil per cert. Pretty steep IMO. I see others having better luck and I'm happy for them but can't help being a bit jealous. Edit: After posting this, I ran another 6mil and picked up 21 Golden/Cartel certs and the Rodian merc. Massive upturn in luck. Total Cost: 46mil. Yield 31 Golden, 14 CMC, Rodian Merc. If so thats where you're going wrong. Just buy smuggler chips only and roll, roll, roll til you get a nice stack of kingpins then play kingpin. 700 - 750 smuggler chips for a grand cost of about 1.5m = 190 to 200 kingpin chips, i got about 50 golden certs, 19 CMC's and the 1 merc, no mount tho. Admittedly the smuggler chip rolling is boring as hell just stick some music or a film on and click, click click away. But saves you 40-50m credits! Last I checked hypercrates were selling for about 125 million. So far I've gotten luckier than you as far as CMCs go. 6 for about 300k. About 21 Golden, but no mounts or companion. If I don't like decorating but I do have CMCs, I can turn those CMCs into credits by buying decos and selling them on the GTN to the people who want decos and have credits-but-not-CMCs.(1) Clem Stato ("Stay trendy") in the strongholds area of the Fleet sells a big list of unbound decos. BOL CMCs have no intrinsic value on the GTN by themselves because they can’t be listed. As for Armor, you can buy it on the Fleet with CMCs and it is BOP. If the argument is about those few decos that might be available to list on the GTN, it’s really lame. Almost all of the armour, weapons, decorations, and most other oddments from the Cartel Bazaar vendors are BoP. They have a small number of goofy but unbound titles and a few unbound decos. My best guess is that those titles are effectively not worth the effort of even looking at the GTN for prices. (Things like "Transporter, Trusted Associate"...) (1) I'm not saying that CMC drops from the Nightlife event are an effective(2) way of acquiring the CMCs necessary to do this. IoNonSoEVero Posted June 22, 2019 Share Posted June 22, 2019 Even if decos don't usually float your boat, you can get the jawa scrap vendors for one certificate each from the Clem Stato vendor. Those are worth their weight in gold since you can exchange all that jawa scrap from command crates and conquest in your stronghold instead of dealing with the fleet.
