More Pretty Dresses Please!

Recommended Posts

I've been playing this game nearly the entire time it's been out and imho it's getting ever harder to play the true endgame: Pretty Princess Dress Up.

I love a fair amount of the armour, but for my characters with the Baroness title and the like I'd like a larger dress and tiara selection! We have maybe one tiara model in the game so far, but in the films there's such inspiration to draw on! Maybe some new dress models too, I know I'm personally in love with Amilyn Holdo's dress (and that back detailing) in the new film.

I know a lot isn't feasible for this (though I will hold out for All of Padme's Extravagant Princess Outfits as long as this game is live) but it's been a while since we had some flouncy, pretty, Alderaan-Ball-Worthy formalwear.

Yes. I'd love to see more dress outfits that are pretty but not revealing. Not every girly dress has to have the chest hanging out, etc. :) My characters are not going to wear them during battle but it's nice to have them for special occasions.

If we're making a wishlist, I'd like:

1. Leia's ceremony dress from A New Hope

2. Leia's outfit from Cloud City

3. Leia's dress from the Ewok Village (and if they put that hair in the game I think it could be a nice look for many characters)

4. Leia's blue dress from The Force Awakens

Heck, just make the Leia collection

5. Padme's yellow dress from Naboo

6. Padme's really "official" blue and black dress from the beginning of Attack of the Clones

7. Padme's blue Tatooine dress. This one's a little shapeless but if they brought in the waist a little -

In terms of pretty dresses, I feel like there are tons of unexplored options already in the game. Various outfit pieces could be retextured to give us lovely looks.

For ages I have wanted a dress like this. Chest is the Genteel Dress Top, modified to cut away all the material using the original secondary colour and show some skin instead. The new secondary colour would control all the metal ornamentations and the metal of the tiara. The primary colour would control all the cloth and the gems of the tiara. Other pieces in my picture are Genteel Dress Sash, Wicked Huntress's Helmet, Stately Diplomat's Cuff, and Kreia's Lower Robes. I feel like the result is revealing but not extravagantly so - it maintains elegance. :) Also, by making the metal trim dyeable, it gives the outfit much more flexibility. If we don't like gold trim, we can easily make it silver with a craftable secondary grey dye.

I just got the Force Apprentice set and I LOVE the floaty little capelet pieces, I really hope they show up on future formalwear/dresses!
Agreed - I really like those floaty bits as cape alternatives! Even a second version of the dress I posted above would look nice with those added on. Edited by Estelindis

And they don't always have to be floor length either. Padme had some pretty dresses (yes they are floor length but they were gorgeous so I would still wear them)

I agree! /SIGNED!

I need more options for my beautiful Light side sith sorceress!

I have had SOME success piecing together various pieces to form a somewhat regal appearance, but sadly the combinations are all rather limited to the point that I have only been able to create maybe 3 gowns and those 3 all use the same skirt...

I have no usable screenshots to post here but if I am not too lazy I may make time to make a few for TOR fashion links... no promises though.

This! Need more formal wear, pretty dresses and suits. Also where the high heels at?

Would love there to be some sort of in game event where there's a ball or gala with a big party and everyone dressed up. Make it on some new neutral area, a giant luxury star yacht. Comes with a new CH bundle full of elegant dresses and shoes and tuxedo's for the guys. Oh and pretty princess dresses for the guys too obviously.

Yea i was going to say, really u want to go into battle with those on. Ok Why? I can see as far as formal ware then fast switch to battle gear. But as battle gear, um no. But i am a dude and i am being a dude and perhaps i should ask my 2 daughters why you would want to go into battle with that on, perhaps they can educate me. lol

So i guess that was much about nothing. lol

Adding my +1 to this!

I usually play a diplomatic consular and I would love to have more options for gowns. (Yes, including on the battlefield - If you think I can't kick your butt while wearing a pretty dress - you'd be wrong. :) ) The one that I usually put together with the Cadet Coat (and similar) all look the same - and while it's still gorgeous in each color I do, I would love to be able to mix things up a bit more.

I, too, have always had a desire for more Padme-style outfit options - As well as quite a few of the headpieces and hairstyles, but that's for a different post, I'm sure. I believe that the CM department would really have some winners on their hands if they were to start rolling out styles like these.
