  1. I just started the 'Legacy of the Sith' storyline with a new Republic toon this evening, and when attempting to play the opening cutscene for the 'Dead in the Water' quest, the camera is severely glitching, even though my FPS stays at 60+. I've previously played this on one other Republic toon prior to the newest release, and it ran smoothly. The opening scene with Arn's ship being attacked feels 'rough'. It's as if the camera jerks half a second out of sync, and jumps to the next position while the characters are still being positioned, which I can tell by the way Arn's hair physics are moving (falling) as if he's just been dropped into place. Then, when the rescue ships show up, the sound effect for each them dropping out of hyperspace triggers, but the animation does not, and a few stuttered moments later, they are all just 'there'. Finally - and this is where I escaped back out of the cutscene to try it all over again, all of the space flight camera angles outside of my character's direct-facing camera shows only the background of the stars. It does not move while the sounds effects of what should be showing on the screen are playing. I have attempted to play this scene three times with this character, and the camera glitch has happened every time.
  2. I can confirm this, too. Playing Republic character. Lana disappeared after the first boss fight, but was still in cutscenes and audio commentary could be heard while running around. However, as soon as the cutscene ended after defeating the shield computer boss, her dead body appeared right under my feet... But there was no revival option. Picture can be found below: https://photos.app.goo.gl/U6XqRVZmpHuNopYw9 Her body also appeared under my feet after the next cutscene as well. She only came back after I threw myself off a cliff.
  3. Playing through the Ruins of Nul flashpoint, I have already picked up both of the Keystones for the ancient door. However, even though the whole door glows blue, I could not interact with the right side or the top of the door, only the left side. It's a little confusing, and I was initially really concerned when I thought I wasn't able to interact with it at all. I was able to progress, but either the whole door needs to be interactable, or you should limit the glow only to the section of the door that users can click on.
  4. Confirmed still an issue. It has happened to my character twice this afternoon. The first time, it only did it to Lana so I did not fall through the world, but the Ranphyx immediately reset itself and I had to start all over. The second time, I went through the floor and died and, of course, the beast reset itself... again. ........This flashpoint has been out how long now?
  5. Confirmed. Zenith still very much naked in his first cutscene on Odessen. I literally have his clothes in my inventory, and no way to make him put them on.
  6. Good evening! Like the title says, I'm a pretty casual player and I would like to try and find a guild to be a nice home for me. After quite a while of strictly running storylines and playing everything solo, I find myself wanting to begin trying new things in the game. (I guess there ARE only so many times you can play through the Consular storyline before needing to liven things up a bit. ) I have had Legendary status since the DvL event, and I have slowly been going through the other storylines again at an easier pace, but my main Shadow Consular is finally in a place where I believe that I can comfortably be a DPS asset to a group of other players. I've been working on my rotation and researching how to build her out into a force to be reckoned with. I would like to run operations and flashpoints with other people who love the story arc of SWTOR and would not be averse to watching cutscenes, as well as those who don't mind that, although I've had Legendary status for a while, I haven't played through many of the social quests that the game has to offer. (Trolls happened, bad experiences, multiplayer got soured.) Thank you all so much, in advance, for your consideration, and I look forward to finding a new place to call home! Nev
  7. Adding my confirmation to this as well. Map not fading. I tried disabling and re-enabling it to no avail.
  8. I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in Bug Reports, so if this is not the correct forum, please feel free to move it. I am in need of some advice. Nearly a week ago, I purchased the Dust Viper Bandit clothing set on the GTM, and subsequently opened the set and used every piece of the outfit in the outfit designer to stamp a new outfit on my Smuggler. When I did this, the usual popup window verifying if I wanted to bind all of the items to my character showed up, and I accepted. This was not the first time that I have done this on this or other characters. Usually what happens then is that, since all of the items are bound to my character, the outfit unlocks for that character in my collections. (Again, I have used this method many times previously, and about six times since this bug on the same character, and it has worked every time.) With the Dust Viper Bandit set, however, it did not. This time, the entire outfit was stamped int the outfit designer and verified to bind to my character, but for some reason, only the head and chest pieces unlocked and counted towards the full collection. Now, this would not be a problem had I kept the rest of the collection in my inventory or noticed the bug right away. Unfortunately, I did not. As soon as all of the pieces were bound and stamped, I destroyed them - since collection outfits can always be swiftly recalled when you want them once the outfit is unlocked - as it SHOULD have been. I know that since this is a valuable item from the CM, the customer service representatives need to be very careful about unlocking such things for players who just want to say that they have problems in order to get a free unlock. However, since I still have the entire set stamped into an outfit slot, and I could only have done this by binding each and every item to the character, there is proof the the unlock should have happened and did not. I have already created multiple tickets about this situation over the last week. I initially noticed the problem about (I believe), an hour after it happened and immediately submitted my first ticket. The response I received was that, while the representative realized that this must be frustrating, that since I hadn't used the Main Outfit Slots to bind the outfit to the character, that everything was working as intended, and that I needed to use the main slots to unlock the outfit. Again, this would not be as frustrating had I kept the outfit items, but since I had thought they were already unlocked, like they usually are, I destroyed them. Rather than paying another half million credits on the GTN for another set for an outfit that should have already been unlocked, I very much wished this resolved fairly. So, upon receiving this reply, I decided to call in the bug, and was told that, since this was an in-game matter, I needed to submit another ticket. I did so, explaining the situation in even more detail, just as I have expressed it here. I suppose it's my bad luck that the ticket was handled by the same representative, who gave pretty much the exact same response - that since I had used the outfit designer instead of the main slots, nothing was supposed to unlock. My third ticket, was to ask why, if this was all working "as intended", multiple characters and multiple outfits have used the Outfit Designer to unlock full collection sets with no problems whatsoever - and why the chest and head pieces for this particular outfit would have unlocked if I had only ever used them in the outfit designer along with the rest of the pieces - and never put them into main slots. Again, the response was from the same representative, stating that while they understood that I just want to fix this issue, and while the outfit designer has worked for other outfits, and while they would love to help me out with this, they can't do anything because "everything is working as intended". Needless to say, this has gone from frustrating to infuriating. Thus, I would very much like some advice as to how to proceed. Should I just keep putting in tickets, even though they seem to all go to the same representative who obviously has no intention of looking further into the situation. Should I buy the set again even though this should be an easy customer service fix? I mean, I can provide photographic, time-stamped proof that the entire outfit is "bound" to the character in the outfit designer - as well as proof that subsequent outfits have unlocked the exact same way that this one should have. If this is working "as intended", why is every other outfit I stamp unlocking? I know this is a bit of a rant, and for that I am sorry, but this is hand-shakingly infuriating to me, and I really need some advice with how to proceed.
  9. Adding my +1 to this. I thought I was going nuts when I started a new character. - Bought so many of the same kind of shirt just so I could dye them all different colors like on previous characters, only to find that I couldn't add dye to a single one. I really hope that they fix this. I know that it's a pretty low-tiered problem, but it was pretty jarring.
  10. Hello! I actually wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the bug forums, so if anyone finds that this post is in the wrong place, I can move it. So, I have a Jedi Consular alt that broke off her relationship with Theron after the events of Fractured Alliances (not because I don't still love him, but for headcannon purposes that aren't really important here). After the breakup, I noticed that the Companions and Contacts entry about the split says: "With the return of your former romance, you and Theron have decided to end your relationship." The thing is, though, that my alt has never romanced anyone other than Theron - not even a single flirt option taken with any other character - companion OR NPC. I was wondering if this text was common across all Theron relationship splits (like the codex entry for a break up is just that generic), or if my alt somehow now might have a relationship flag with someone else that I don't know about. Thank you so much, in advance, for your input. Nev
  11. Adding my +1 to this! I usually play a diplomatic consular and I would love to have more options for gowns. (Yes, including on the battlefield - If you think I can't kick your butt while wearing a pretty dress - you'd be wrong. ) The one that I usually put together with the Cadet Coat (and similar) all look the same - and while it's still gorgeous in each color I do, I would love to be able to mix things up a bit more. I, too, have always had a desire for more Padme-style outfit options - As well as quite a few of the headpieces and hairstyles, but that's for a different post, I'm sure. I believe that the CM department would really have some winners on their hands if they were to start rolling out styles like these.
  12. Thank you so much for the roadmap!! I'm so excited for the upcoming new content! The new stronghold sounds amazing. I don't even have all of the old ones yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to eventually having all of them. And I've never played the Nightlife event before, so I'm really going to enjoy researching how best to try it out before it's released! I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun!! I'm not a complete fan of multiplayer content and much prefer the single player storyline, but I realize that story by itself has been a major focus for quite a long time now, and that multiplayer definitely needs some love and attention, too. So I'm definitely not complaining, and I'm really happy that they're focusing on it right now. (And, yes, 😃 I totally realize that I am playing an MMORPG, I'm just more of a fan of immersive storytelling than all-the-time social gameplay, and I adore that SWTOR gives me the option of both.) I only really have one question about the upcoming goodies: How many modes do you think the newest Flashpoint might have? Will it just be the 4+ Veteran and Master, or is a Story mode also being considered? Again, thank you so much for the roadmap! I've been looking forward to it and wasn't disappointed! And please pass on my thanks to the whole team for helping create a game that I truly adore playing. ~ Nev
  13. Hello everyone! I'm sorry to bother, but I couldn't find the answer to my specific question anywhere, and I was hoping someone might be able to help me! So, my 'problem' is that I have SO many schematics of the Midlithe saber/offhand/staff, and I can't even seem to give them away for a measly 1000 credits on the GTN - I believe that I can actually get more credits for them if I were to just sell them to a vendor. Now, I was thinking that if I just hold onto a bunch of them in an Alt's inventory for a while until they (might be) archived later on in favor of something new and different, I could likely make a killing on the GTN at that point. But that would only be IF those schematics didn't just disappear from my inventory once they might be archived. Now, my question. Does anyone have experience with archived physical schematics like this? Do you think they might stay in inventory if they're ever archived and be sell-able, or is this just a crazy pipe dream and I should just go ahead and sell them all away? Thanks, in advance, for all of your input!
  14. Thank you for the tip! But I'm already at level 70, so I know that I should be able to get the quest. I also know that I could just go ahead and get both of the bonuses on-world, but I tried that with ALDERAAN, and the dialogue pretty strongly hints that your character has already spoken to someone prior to getting there, so it just felt like I was missing something. I know that it's just crazy-completionist, but I'd like to find the breadcrumbs anyway. :)
  15. Hello everyone! I'm sorry to bother, but I'm trying to do a pretty 'completionist' playthrough on a new toon. I was reading that the Bonus Series for NAR SHADDA and ALDERAAN both have breadcrumb NPC quest givers on the fleet in the Combat Training area, but with the new changes to the section, I can't seem to find them... Right now, I'm just starting chapter 2, so I don't expect the ALDERAAN NPC to be interactive, but I should, hopefully, be able to get the NAR SHADDA quest from Major Tsel'rbah. So, my question: Does anyone know if/where these NPCs have moved to with the Combat Training area remodel? Thank you all so much in advance for your help!!!
