Stronghold Decoration Issues -- The Big List

Here is the list of stronghold decoration issues that I'm aware of. Please reply with any that I missed.

(Updated May 3rd)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Items With Glitches/Issues

These items have a variety of graphical, positioning, or logic issues.

Air Circulator - Copero FP Drop: The interactive node doesn't work.

Ambient Machine: [All] – Volume needs to be twice as loud and heard over a 20% shorter distance. The Casino deco sounds like it's underwater.

Ancient Stone Tile – Furniture sits inside the tile but people stand on top of it, so any overlap with couches or chairs causes problems with sitting emotes.

Aquarium (All decos) -- Outer band of water FX are now mostly opaque, blocking view of fish.

Arrangement: Cantina Bar -- The stools are too close to the table for characters to sit on them using /chair.

Arrangement: Cantina Lounge -- The stools are too close to the table for characters to sit on them using /chair.

Arrangement: Jedi War Table -- The decoration has a Couch icon instead of a Table icon. Since it doesn't work in a Large hook, there's no way to put chairs or personnel around it.

Arrangement: Underworld Bar -- The stools are too close to the bar for characters to sit on them using /chair.

Arrangement: Zakuulan Luxury Lounge – The table isn’t centered so one couch is unusable. In many locations, the rug is positioned under the floor and is not visible.

Arrangement: Zakuulan Party Table -- The stools are too low, so characters hover over them using /chair. (Scaling the size of this piece up slightly would fix it and make the table nicer, too.)

Basic Tools Shelf -- The decoration "Basic Tools Shelf" is not available during decorating when using the German client. "Basic Tools Shelf" and the "Basic Tools Rack" are both translated as "Einfaches Werkzeugregal".

Beach Towel / Beach Umbrella -- Only work on Flooring (rug) hooks, so towels cannot be placed beneath the umbrella, other rugs cannot be used as beach blankets under umbrella.

Bounty Monitor -- There is a spelling error in Aurebesh that someone is wanted for "esponiage" instead of espionage.

Caller In The Dark Holo -- When placed on a large hook, it blocks clicking the entire hook, so it can't be removed once focus is lost.

Clan Fett Rug -- Doesn't appear when placed in certain guild flagship hooks, such as side rooms on Crew deck of Imperial ship.

Conspicuous Consumption Probe -- This pet displays its long name above itself when other pets do not.

Corporate Lobby Rug -- Doesn't appear when placed in certain guild flagship hooks, such as side rooms on Crew deck of Imperial ship.

Crystal Container [Crimson, Storm, Violet, Viridian] -- The preview crystal color is wrong. Crimson and Storm show a blue crystal, Violet shows a green crystal, and Viridian shows an orange crystal in the preview window.

Crystal Formation (Orange) -- Crystal isn't always solid.

Dark Eternal Throne -- The throne is too small (or too low) to work properly with the /chair emote.

Desler Mounts -- Thruster effects float in the wrong spot on Nomad, Turbo, and Avenger mounts. DS-4 doesn't show the pulse effect on its thrusters.

Dynamic Underworld Ceiling Light (Yellow) - Holo sign around the outside of the light clips through the light itself when turned on, it's fine when turned off.

Entertainment Droid -- It doesn't play any music. (Should be a Rhythm Augmentation Droid.)

Gambler's Mic Stand -- Make the animation duration last at least 60 seconds, preferably the same length as a jukebox song (90 seconds?). Change the song to one with lyrics (a random song with lyrics would be best) or remove the music entirely.

Gambler's Party Floor -- Personnel don't stand on top of it (dancers appear to be ankle deep).

Gemini 16 doesn't scale properly and appears at 150% of actual size.

Hanging Vines have a duplicate name, can't be previewed, and can't be Purchased For Guild.

Holofire Jedi Knight Shrine -- Preview is bugged, decoration doesn't appear in interface unless proper hook is selected, cannot be purchased for guild.

Holofire Jedi Padawan Shrine -- Statue is missing its head, left arm, and lightsaber.

Hunter Probe decoration is missing from inventory.

[Hutt Cantina] Skiff -- The plate of food floats in circles over the skiff, including through the pillows, and the grapes are brown instead of purple (rotten).

Iknayid -- The creature from the Exotic Creature Personnel Bundle has the same name as the holo reward for the Eternal Championship, so it can't be used.

Incomplete Skytrooper Chassis -- Sometimes it can't be donated to a guild, sometimes it can. (It should.)

Iokath Custodian Droid -- The mouse-over says that it will work on Small, Medium Narrow, and Medium floor hooks but it does not show in inventory when a Small hook is selected.

Iokath Forge Garbagefall – Junk falls through floor when placed in a low Wall Large hook, or disappears into thin air when placed in a high Wall Large hook.

Iokath Powercell – This is so loud it can be heard around too much of the stronghold. When toggled on, the animation and sound disappear after a short while (2-3 seconds for the animation, and about 10 for the sound).

Iokath Purifier Drone -- Lists Small Floor Hook as an option, but do not appear in inventory when a Small Hook is selected.

Irrigated Garden -- Too big, cannot click hook after placing it, must be removed by tech support.

Kira (Companion) -- Still appears as hologram even after return during story.

Khem Val (Companion) -- No longer retains his customization, cannot be interacted with, and name no longer shows when you mouse over him.

Life Day Fireplace -- Amount of smoke and fire has increased from original amount, is now way too smoky for indoor environments.

Life Day Reveler -- Now throws snowballs over a huge distance, too far (recruit him for MLB).

Makeb Canopy -- Twisted, starts off with a rotation, rotation no longer aligns to hook.

Manaan: Lounge Set -- The chairs are too close to the table, you can't sit in them. Since it doesn't work in a Large hook, there is no way to put additional furniture or personnel around it.

Mandalorian War Tent -- Since it doesn't work in a Large hook, there's no way to put personnel or NPCs in it.

Memorial Holoprojectors -- New, louder sound is too loud and heard over a huge area.

Mounts (All vehicles) -- Whenever you walk into range of a vehicle, it makes the same "vroom" noise that it makes when it is summoned for riding. Depending on how you move around a stronghold, you can be overwhelmed by constant, repeating engine sound FX. Vehicles should not make their appearance sound FX when you walk into range.

Odessen Brazier -- This item gives off a huge plume of smoke that is too large and reduces the usefulness of the item.

Onderon Grove -- Several purple leaves are just floating in space, not attached to the tree. It also doesn't move in the wind like other Onderon decorations (IE: Onderon Tree).

Paxton Rall -- Holding an invisible weapon while in a fighting stance.

Personnel & Companions [All] -- Sometimes personnel sit on the floor. Other times they sit on top of a chair, couch, or table. They should consistently seek the highest solid point, not sit in the middle of a couch. This issue has made Zabrak Pirate (Female) very difficult to use.

[Pets] Phantom Vrake, Phantasmal Rakling, and Ethereal Rakling -- The name (IE: "Phantom Vrake") appears above the pet when it is placed as a decoration. Normally there is no floating text over pet decos.

[Pet] Taunling (Bought from Galactic Command Light Side Vendor) - Shows a box in the decoration list rather than showing the Taunling that is placed as a pet decoration.

Planetary Display: [Any] -- No indication that they are Bound but they can no longer be sold on the GTN.

Plateau Windmill -- No preview appears in the window.

Power Conduit (Green) – It isn’t tall enough to reach the ceiling anywhere, so where is the plasma flowing from?

Power Control - Copero FP Drop: The interactive node doesn't work.

Reclaimed War Droid -- After you remove him, his weapon glow FX remain. Also, when donated to a guild, it does not appear in the deco inventory, so it cannot be placed.

Revanite Camp Fire -- The animation lasts 20 seconds, far too short for RP. It needs to last much longer (20 minutes) or preferably stay on until it is clicked again.

Rishi Hut - The rug collides somehow with the ground (IE: outdoors on Yavin 4) so that it constantly flickers in and out.

Rishi Idol -- Sound FX now heard over a wide distance, sometimes the entire stronghold, also too loud.

Scorpion TK Weapon Rack -- Spoils of War Pack: Cannot be donated to guild.

Scourge (Companion) -- Still appears as hologram even after return during story.

Seeker Probes – As a decoration, they don’t respond to X/Y or rotation controls.

Selkath Solar Sculpture – For some reason, it looks dark and shadowed unless placed directly under a bright light. The lights on the bottom need to illuminate the piece.

Senate Podium (Crystal) -- Two crystals appear, overlapping. One turns slowly.

Small Jedi Padawan Fountain Shrine -- Missing left arm.

Small Jedi Padawan Shrine -- Statue is missing its head, left arm, and lightsaber.

Steam Distributor -- It has a clickable area but nothing happens when clicked.

Stoneray -- The creature from the Exotic Creature Personnel Bundle has the same name as the pet from Blood Hunt, so it can't be seen in inventory, donated to guild, etc.

Throne of the Sith Emperor -- Way too loud, can be heard 3 rooms away, loudest deco in the game.

Torch Jedi Padawan Shrine -- Statue is missing its head, left arm, and lightsaber.

Umbaran holograms (Slybex, Spider Tank, Vixian Mauler, etc) -- Once placed, they block the entire hook, so there is no way to remove or position them. In some cases, the Large deco holos also block adjacent hooks.

Valkorian Holo -- Shows as no rotation, regardless of actual value, after you leave and return.

Vehicles [All] -- Vehicles used as decorations should never make the "vroom" noise that they make when we summon them. They repeatedly make the sound FX when you walk into range of them, which is constantly in smaller strongholds.

Voss-Ka Healing Crystal -- New, loud machine sound is too loud and inappropriate for a non-tech crystal.

Vinn Atrius -- Name appears over his head. Also, he's fighting with empty hands. His spear doesn't appear.

Zakuulan Information Terminal -- Images on monitors are upside down. The revolving monitors sometimes freeze in place until you rezone.

Zakuulan Military Rug -- Doesn't appear when placed in certain guild flagship hooks, such as side rooms on Crew deck of Imperial ship.

Zakuulan Rug -- Doesn't appear when placed in certain guild flagship hooks, such as side rooms on Crew deck of Imperial ship.

Zakuulan Socialite Couch – The seat height is lower than standard so sitting emotes don’t look right.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Items That Need Max Unlock Increases

Custom Huttball Stand -- Currently 1, needs to be 1 per stronghold.

Datacron: Dark vs. Light -- Why did this drop to 1?

Galactic Alliance Statue -- Limit was decreased from 50 to 10, please restore to higher limit.

Master Exhibit: [Dark/Light] Datacrons -- Limit is 4, should be increased to 50 or 999 like other achievement items.

Reconstructed Hypergate -- Currently 1, needs to be 1 per stronghold.

Rishii Idol -- Still capped at 10 while other items had their max unlocks increased.

Statue: Naga Sadow -- Currently 4, other centerpiece statues cap at 50.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unobtainable Decorations

These are decorations that aren't dropping properly or aren't showing up on the vendor's list.

Illumination Probe Crate -- Used to drop from flashpoint Bloodhunt.

Star Fortress missions no longer drop decorations except in Solo mode, which means that you can't earn decorations while advancing the story.

I’m not sure why Advanced Zakuulan Trash Receptacle and Trash Bin are technology, but maybe they really squash that trash.

The Signs subcategories Placards and Posters are so inconsistent, I’m not sure where to begin.

Why are the Propaganda items Placards but Planetary Sign and Justicar Propaganda are Posters?

Why are Voss Embassy Signs in Posters and not placards like Battle-Worn Placards?

Stronghold Issues

These are problems with stronghold features that impact decorating.

Broken Hooks

* Imperial Flagship (Crew deck) -- Corporate Lobby Rug and Imperial Ornamental Tile do not appear.

* Rishi (Wood Platforms) -- Rugs, tents, and other decorations appear partially below and partially above the walkway boards.

* Yavin 4 (Balcony Doorway) -- Enter the main temple, take the first door on the right, go all the way to the balcony. Turn around to face the stairs. The small wall hooks on either side of the doorway won't accept decorations.

* Yavin 4 (South Outer Temple Doorway) -- Go through the main temple and out across the bridge. Enter the large building on the right (south side). Turn around to face the doorway. The large wall hooks adjacent to the doorway (on the walls of the short hall ending in the doorway) won't release decorations once they are placed in them.

* Yavin 4 (North Outer Temple Pillar) -- To through the main temple and out across the bridge. Enter the large building ont he left (north side). The small wall hook on the face of the first pillar on the left doesn't release items once they are placed. Later, you can place a second item in the same hook.

* Yavin 4 (Sanctuary 2 Top) -- Go to the top. One of the narrow hooks doesn't show, decorations placed there are invisible. See Dulfy video at 15:38 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5Ml...utu.be&t=15m30s).

* Yavin 4 (Sanctuary 2 Walls) -- Right building, 2 large wall hooks on either side of the interior near the entrance are offset and stick out from the walls, making decorations appear to hover in mid-air.

Other Issues

* Guild Flagship engine noise is heard at the same loud volume everywhere on the ship.

* Guild Flagship decoration reset doesn't clear just the current deck or all decks, but a strange mix of areas.

* Coruscant -- Traffic sound is louder and now heard at the same loud volume everywhere, even indoors.

* Manaan -- Train sounds are now very loud, even internally. Wheels-on-track sound makes no sense for trackless hover train. Remove train track sound entirely, keep hover ring "whooshes".

* Manaan (Roof Landing Pad) -- You can't use 3 of 4 layouts, since you can't see the hooks to click on them. You can't see the bottom of anything placed in the Starship hook. There's no way to reach the landing area.

* Nar Shaddaa (Landing Pad) -- There is no good way to reach the landing pad from the sky palace. How would someone landing on a ship there reach the palace? Assuming the Starship hook is converted into other hooks, how would guests reach the park/arena/etc? Players without Speeder Piloting 3 can't reach it at all. Add a transport option to the taxi or create a bridge to the center solarium balcony.

* Nar Shaddaa (Main Room) -- In the large room downstairs with the skylight ceiling, there is a problem with the windows overlooking the balcony. If Bloom is turned off, the windows are opaque and appear yellow from most angles.

* Nar Shaddaa (Upstairs) -- Jukeboxes placed in upstairs hooks don't work properly. The sound fades in and out on a regular cycle. This affects all jukeboxes in any hook type.

* Tatooine (Landing Platform Hook) -- The starship hook on the landing platform doesn't have multiple layouts like the hook in the docking bay.

* Tatooine (Landing Pad) -- The button which allows us to Exit the stronghold, Return to our previous location, or go to Tatooine is located all the way across the map, past a zoning elevator. Add one to the exterior of the elevator in the main room (like in DK/Coruscant).

* Tatooine (Taxi) -- The taxi only goes one way, the way you could already go instantly by using /stuck. Also, the speeder flies all the way across the balcony, right through half of the hooks and anything placed in them.

* Umbara train decoration reset clears the entire stronghold.

* Umbara (All Areas) -- Mount decorations placed on the train think they are in constant motion, making flight sounds/animation.

* Umbara (Mounts) -- We can't use vehicles on the train, so we have to run and run and run...

* Umbara (Front Car) -- In the car right behind the front control room, light source decorations don't work; illumination from any source doesn't appear.

* Umbara (Exterior Cars) -- Low hanging wires prevent logical placement of Centerpiece decorations, as they cut through anything much taller than your character.

* Umbara (Interior Cars) -- Too many interior cars have no wall hooks.

* Umbara (Last Car) -- There is no way to reach the starship hook (landing area).

* Yavin 4 -- Humming FX sounds like "empty space" wind, not the sort that would blow through an area with trees and buildings. Very strange and loud. Also heard in interior spaces. Even louder than the waterfall when you're right by it. Drowns out most of the bird sounds.

* Yavin 4 (Rear Starship Hook) -- The starship hook in the woods doesn't have multiple layouts like the hook on the landing platform.

* Yavin 4 room decoration reset doesn't work properly. Adjacent areas are also reset.

Large Items Difficult To Place

These decorations need to be placed against a wall or in a line with identical items, however this isn’t possible due to their hook layout. Hopefully they can be placed off-center as their default location within the hook. Alternately, increase the amount we can move decorations on the X/Y access to +/- 30.

Mount Hooks

The mounts are very inconsistent about what hook sizes they fit into. Even mounts from the same family use different hook sizes. Here’s a suggestion on making it standard.

Large – Acklay, Behemoth, Cutter, Desler, Devourer, Gapillian, Gundark, Icetromper, Minas, Monolith, podracers, Rancor, Skiff, Tank, Vorantikus

Medium & Large – Arclight, Bantha, Chemlizard, Czerka hovercars (Commuter, Runabout, etc.), Dewback, Fyrnock, Gree spheres, Interceptor, Kakkran, Kath Hound, Korealis, Kukri, Lergo, Luggerwahl, Makrin, Manka Cat, Manta, Nexu, Razoronn, Sidecar, Sleen, Sorosuub, Swoop, Syck, Throne, Tirsa, Uxibeast, Varactyl, Vectron special vehicles, Vondell, Vorn Tiger, Voyager, Vrake, Walker, Whitefang, Womp Rat, Zeldrate

Medium Narrow & Medium – Adno, Amzab, Corsair, Covert, Czerka hoverbikes (Ranger, Z-3B, etc.), Dasta, Gurian, Hoverchair, Hyrotii, Irakie, Joko, Koensayr, Kybuck, Lifter, Morlinger, Orlean, Orobird, Praxon, Prinawe, Raptor, Rark, Razalon, Rendili, Tauntaun, Tion, Tobus, Vectron speeders, Walkhar

Small and Medium Narrow – Aratech, Ikas, Lhosan, Longspur, Meirm, Roche, Ubrikki, Vectron Vertica

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other Suggestions

Keys and Security

* Allow players to grant keys to a Legacy. It doesn't make sense to re-key new alts.

* Give us the ability to grant Gold keys on personal strongholds, to allow others to help decorate and roleplay.

* Add the ability for a guild leader to upgrade the keys for all guild members in a Legacy.

* Add a security setting above Public that will allow 100% decorated strongholds to appear on the kiosk list even when the owner is offline.

Jukeboxes

Three jukeboxes have continuous play (Riveting Themes, Galactic Mysteries, and Grand Metropolis).

The jukeboxes with lyrical songs do not (Underworld Classics, Core World Classics, Soothing Melodies, and Stellar Hits).

Two suggestions --

* Create a continuous play version of the single-play jukeboxes.

* Create a version of the single-play jukeboxes with several buttons so that you can choose which song plays.

If possible, change single-play jukeboxes so that everyone in the room hears the same song (not different random songs off the playlist) when the deco is activated.

Companions

* Don't make companion decorations holographic if the companion hasn't been unlocked.

* Only make companions holographic if the viewing player has that companion summoned, or don't ever make them holographic.

Mount and Pet Placement

Make all unlocked mounts and pets available for placement, regardless of which character unlocked it. Don't make us jump around looking for specific decorations or to move a deco to another hook. The decoration inventory should be fully Legacy wide.

Purchase For Guild Options

Too many decorations cannot be donated to a guild using the Purchase For Guild option. The list is very long and inconsistent. Please allow anniversary and other decorations to be donated. See post on page 4 by AscendingSky.

Secretly Bound Decorations

Review all Star Fortress decorations. We prefer that they be unbound so that we can sell them. At the very least, add their binding restrictions to their tooltip text.

Stronghold Design

* Avoid wide floorboards or wainscoting, and use rounded or angled walls sparingly. They make it difficult to place items against walls.

* Don't use tinted sunrise/sunset light, as this changes the color of all decorations.

* Use ramps and stairs instead of elevators. They don't cause rezoning.

* Include many Floor Covering hooks. Make sure all Starship and Centerpiece hooks have alternate layouts.

Stronghold Labels

We need additional labels to increase the number of themes, and add variety to the SH kiosk so that special strongholds stand out. For example: Arms Depot, Athenaum, Black Market, Cantina, Cartel Bolthole, Center of the Arts, Citadel of Peace/War, Command Center, Communications Outpost, Corporate Headquarters, Covert Operations Base, Enclave, Exile, Fortress, Forward Operating Base, Frontier Settlement, Garrison, Hotel, Laboratory, Logistics Base, Luxury Resort, Mandalorian Citadel, Moisture Farm, Nightclub, Outpost, Overwatch, Praxeum, Private Estate, Proving Ground, Research Center, Research Facility, Resistance Garrison, Revanite Fortress, Safe House, Sanctuary, Security Center, Skiptracer’s Cantina, Tracking Station, Training Facility, and Training Ground.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Suggestion -- Please fix our decorations, thanks!

I just changed servers and I'm redoing all five of my strongholds and I'm noticing a lot of mis-categorized decorations.

I would add the cartel commemorative statues to your add hook list. Right now they can only be placed on large squares when they look like they would easily fit on medium squares.

There's a few that have 2 spaces between words in their names. Sounds silly but that makes them unsearchable on the GTN.

I'd make a list but I'm not going to waste another hour today after the screw up on the Foundry.

edit: I would think a simple " " through a database would be a simple search. There are other items like that as well.

Xina,

Thank you so, so much for having the patience and stamina to compile this list. You seriously deserve a commendation for putting in the exhaustive work to bring this information to the forefront. :sy_title:

It must be noted that there are additional glitches and inconsistencies that go beyond this list, including mounts and their corresponding hook assignments. While in the process of creating a flight simulator scene for my Imperial Agent's stronghold, I made the frustrating discovery with the following Kalakar Simulator mounts:

Kalakar Advanced Simulator: Floor Medium, Floor Large

Kalakar Escort: Floor Medium, Floor Large, Floor Medium Narrow

Kalakar Strike Fighter Simulator: Floor Large

These Kalakar mounts are all EXACTLY the same size, with the only difference being their paint jobs. It exemplifies how inconsistent things are and how it ultimately effects our ability to use these decos. I have no doubt that there are other inconsistencies to be found among the hundreds of other mount decorations.

If there are any devs out there reading these posts, it is very important that your team realize players do not enjoy having to rummage through this convoluted mess that presently plagues the decorations catalog. This system is in dire need of an overhaul. All of these problems are the result of poor oversight and sloppy management and we need you to FIX THIS!

The inability to use the vertical axis on floor hooks is a bummer for me. You can spin something, move it left and right and back and forth, but not up.

It'd be nice to have something on a floor hook float.

I thought about that as well; adding a Z axis to vertically situate decorations would be a useful and welcome addition. For starters, having a Z axis for vertical positioning would enable us to adjust decos that would otherwise clip through other decos. For example, having a Z axis would allow us to place a Twi'lek dancer on top of a Hutt Lounger, or any variety of personnel or pets on top of larger decos. A Z axis would also be useful in areas where the Devs got lazy and placed a collision box that isn't quite level with the surface, resulting in charcters either sinking slightly or foating in the air slighlty. Being able to vertically adjust decos would help to remedy that.

I believe XINA_LA deserves to be paid as a consultant!!! Or at least, a huge stash of courtesy decorations - think about this: http://time.com/money/4356563/chewbacca-mom-facebook-gifts-disney-college/

As a fellow decorating nutjob I really thank you for all that work, Xina. As well as the incredibly creative tips about how to creatively combine decos. BTW can't play right now cause PC is fubar, but I'll submit one soon :)

1) a cool command-control station

2) an ugly monitor

- This big guy is still toothless (And I just noticed the footage at the bottom of this link that shows

, without a silo... I can't even...)

Massive artillery turret

I checked the Resting Medical Tank and it also works in a Floor Large hook. It would be nice if it fit in a Medium hook, but at least the Large is usable.

Thank you so much for pointing out the Networked Security Monitor! I knew there was one I was forgetting and it was driving me crazy. I've added it to the master list. I think there is one more. Hopefully I'll find it soon.

There are also several other items that don't show up in the proper GTN category but I haven't seen them in awhile. Please keep an eye out for them and post them here if you have a moment. Thanks!

Will do !

I know the healing tank glued to a gray pub console also fits on a large, but the fact they DID go for centerpiece, and DID forego medium seems to indicate they drink on the premises... ;)

Edit : didn't notice the glitch section, I have one right on my mind. Ambassador Kylee sinks in the ground ! At least she does on the blue luxury rug I placed her on.

Thanks to everybody for their contributions in helping to identify decos that are currently mislabeled or are not assigned the appropriate hook size. I really do hope the devs take a look at this compilation and use it as reference. This list goes to prove how stronghold decos are in need of more consistent and reliable organization.

Items With Glitches/Issues

These items have a variety of graphical, positioning, or logic issues.

Ambient Machine: [Any] – Volume needs to be twice as loud and heard over a 10% shorter distance.

Ancient Stone Tile – Furniture sits inside the tile but people stand on top of it, so any overlap with couches or chairs causes problems with sitting emotes.

Arrangement: Zakuulan Luxury Lounge – The table isn’t centered so one couch is unusable. In many locations, the rug is positioned under the floor and is not visible.

Cantina Bar Set (Small) – It is extremely easy to get in a Stuck state by bumping up against it.

Iokath Forge Garbagefall – Junk falls through floor when placed in a low Wall Large hook, or disappears into thin air when placed in a high Wall Large hook.

Iokath Powercell – This is so loud it can be heard around too much of the stronghold.

Iokath Superweapon Prototype – This is extremely loud and can be heard everywhere. It also disappears or stops moving frequently on flagships.

People’s Tower Holo Terminal -- Hologram portion of the deco not visible when viewed against flagship windows or exterior backdrops.

Planetary Holo Map (Ilum) – Hologram portion of the deco not visible when viewed against flagship windows or exterior backdrops.

Planetary Holoprojector -- Hologram portion of the deco not visible when viewed against flagship windows or exterior backdrops.

Power Conduit (Green) – It isn’t tall enough to reach the ceiling anywhere, so where is the plasma flowing from?

Seeker Probes – As a decoration, they don’t respond to X/Y or rotation controls.

Selkath Solar Sculpture – For some reason, it looks dark and shadowed unless placed directly under a bright light. The lights on the bottom need to illuminate the piece.

Yavin Temple Fountain – This Civic / Sculptures item shows up in the Signs category on the GTN.

Zakuulan Socialite Couch – The seat height is lower than standard so sitting emotes don’t look right.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Suggestion -- Please fix our decorations, thanks!

Please add to this Desler Mounts that have their thruster effects floating in the wrong spot unconnected to the mount. Specifically Desler Nomad, Desler Turbo, Desler Avenger

Additionally, shouldn't the Desler DS-4 have a pulsing effect on it's thrusters?

And while fixing things, maybe allow any toon to add Mounts/Pets to a Stronghold rather than only the ones that actually have it once one toon gets it? I hate having to go get another toon just to put something that fits in my stronghold because a different toon happened to unlock it unlike other decorations.

Great thread idea!

I'll have more to add later, but right now here's a few decoration issues I have off the top of my head:

- The rear Starship hook in the Yavin IV stronghold cannot be broken down into smaller hooks, unlike every other Starship hook in the game.

- The Zakuulan Tech Wall Panel decoration should be able to be placed on a Medium Narrow hook as well as a Medium hook. Keeping it to just a Medium hook severely limits its usefulness a great deal as a room divider (of which we have very few right now) as well as a wall area decoration.

- It's hard for toons (especially BT3 or BT4 toons) to sit at the chairs/couches provided in the Arrangement: Underworld Bar, Arrangement: Zakuulan Luxury Lounge, and Arrangement: Cantina Lounge decorations, due to how close the seating is placed to the tables.

- The Zakuulan Socialite Couch and Arrangement: Zakuulan Party Table produce a severe case of 'hoverbutt' when you try to sit in them with /chair, since the couch/stool level is far below where the character's sitting level is with that emote. They should probably be scaled up a bit in size so it doesn't look so weird.

I have updated the master list (first post) once again. Thank you for the contributions, everyone!

If you find any glitches, bugs, or other problems with decorations, please post.

I would love to put together a list of all the hooks that don't work properly. I know there are several on Yavin 4. If you know where these are, please post. Thanks!

I would love to put together a list of all the hooks that don't work properly. I know there are several on Yavin 4. If you know where these are, please post. Thanks!

I mentioned in my previous post how the second Yavin IV Starship hook (the 'back' one out by the watchtower) can't be broken down into smaller hooks. Also, one of the small hooks on the wall corners in the sanctuary on the left as you come off the bridge will let you put a decoration there, but then it won't let you take it off again; it will act like there's no decoration in that spot, and you can even put another one down, but the first decoration is still visible.

Other decoration specific issues:

Zakuulan Artisan Lamppost - This decoration does not shed any light, even though the very similar Zakuulan Standing Floor Lamp (which drops from SM Star Fortresses) sheds plenty of light.

Holographic Tree (Green) and Holographic Tree (Blue) - Not only are these two similar decorations listed in completely different categories (one in Environmental and one in Technological), but their visual effects become blurred out if viewed with a window or viewport behind them.

Zakuulan Temple Torch - Despite there being a fire effect on the top of this, the decoration does not shed any light.

Odessen Brazier - This decoration has a HUGE smoke plume coming off it in comparison to the actual size of the fire. It looks like they're burning tires in there! They should probably cut down on the smoke some.

Rishii Idol - We are still limited to a hard cap of 10 of these decorations, despite the fact players continue to get copies of the deco with every new character they make, copies which are freely available on the GTN. They need to increase the cap to at least 50, if not to the full 999 many decorations have. The firebowl parts also need to shed light. There should also be an option to place this decoration on a Medium Narrow hook.

Statue of the Agonized - The fire in this decoration does not shed any light.

Nathema Sanitarium Brazier - The glowing coals on this deco do not shed any light.

Oriconian Standing Torch - The fire on top of this decoration does not shed any light.

Voss-ka Street Lamp - Though there is a bloom effect around the dangling lamp portions, this decoration does not shed any light.

Temple Standing Lamp - This decoration has a bloom effect but does not emit any actual light.

Revanite Camp Fire - The animation on this decoration barely lasts 20 seconds or so before it turns itself off. You should be able to click on it once and just let it burn until you click it off again.

Topiary Tree (Hedge) - Add Floor Small hooks as an option.

Jukebox Issues - The more recent Jukeboxes (Riveting Themes, Galactic Mysteries, and Grand Metropolis) will go on continuous play when you turn them on, cycling through all the songs in their repertoire, and can be turned off at any time. However, older Jukeboxes (Underworld Classics, Core World Classics, Soothing Melodies, and Stellar Hits) will only play one random song and then automatically shut down after a minute or two, and they cannot be turned off during their playing of that song. All of the older Jukeboxes should be upgraded to work more like the recent ones, so you don't have to keep clicking on the darned things to keep them playing or to get them to play a song you want to hear.

Star Fortress Decorations Issue - While SF decorations still drop from the bosses and mini-bosses in solo mode, they don't drop off them in Veteran mode, and haven't since 5.0 dropped.

Let's try to figure out specifically which small hook this is. The broken hooks in the right-hand sanctuary work the same away, refusing to release the first object, even if you change the hook layout. It will also let you slot a second object. In general, it seems like hooks adjacent to doors on Yavin 4 all have problems.

Zakuulan Artisan Lamppost - This decoration does not shed any light, even though the very similar Zakuulan Standing Floor Lamp (which drops from SM Star Fortresses) sheds plenty of light.

I thought this was by design, so that we have two different versions -- lit and un-lit.

Revanite Camp Fire - The animation on this decoration barely lasts 20 seconds or so before it turns itself off. You should be able to click on it once and just let it burn until you click it off again.

You've completely mystified me here. I have two of these objects placed in strongholds. They're not clickable and they're always lit. Are you sure this is the right decoration name? I'm going to check this out tonight.

Something interesting about jukeboxes -- when the song starts, everyone in the room hears a song at random, not necessarily the same song. I've had friends sitting adjacent on laptops playing SWTOR together, and when I clicked the jukebox, we all started hearing different songs.

As you enter the left-hand sanctuary, it's the small hook on the wall in the corner on your right, where two walls meet, above a medium hook on the floor.

I suppose this is possible! I just thought it was odd myself that both of them have a bloom light effect and look lit, but only one of them sheds light.

I believe you're thinking of the Arrangement: Tribal Campfire decoration. That one is always lit, and has the two chairs flanking it. I'm talking about the Revanite Camp Fire decoration, which needs to be clicked to ignite, and doesn't stay ignited long.

Really? I didn't know that! I'll have to experiment with that myself. Either way, it would be nice if all the Jukebox decorations would go on continuous play and could be turned on and off at will, like the more recent ones can.

Oh, another thing for the list! The Selkath Console is another one of those large decos that's hard to put against the wall because it can only be placed on Large hooks.

This list is missing at least one HUGE one.

The "Caller in the Dark Holo" when placed on a large hook there's only one way to remove it (or 2 if it was a modified centerpiece hook). Reset all decorations in the room as you cannot select the hook it's placed on. So if it's a modified centerpiece you should still be able to reset the hook layout thingy and lose less decorating.

Two more for the "bugged decos" list (one deco, two bugs):

Bounty Monitor

Deco cannot be "used" (to switch it on and show/change the bounty displayed) when placed on some walls in the Coruscant stronghold. When placed on a "bad" wall, attempting to "use" the deco give a "Cannot see target" error. This seems to be more an issue with the SH, as the deco works fine on other walls in that SH, as well as every wall I've tried it on in other strongholds. As an example, it works on the wall next one stariway in the "garage" room, but gives the "Cannot see target" error on the seemingly identical wall next to the other staircase in the same room. Likewise, it can be placed on one wall in the first floor hallway, but not the opposite one. (I admit I haven't tried it on every wall in every SH, so there may be other "bad" walls where it can't be "used" once placed).

Also, when placed where you can switch it on and see the display, one of the bounty listings has a typo. It says the target (Saveel Yacommsa) is wanted for "esponiage" (should be "espionage").

And a bunch for the "Unobtainable" list:

Decal: Recharge Area has been in the decorations list since strongholds were first released (patch 2.9). The description says "Source: Vendor: Decoration Merchant (credits)" but I've never found any Decoration Merchant that sells it.

Corellian Zoo Decal

Sign: Danger

Sign: Keep Out

Sign: Watch (which is actually just a yellow "danger" sign, if you read it in the preview window, not a 'watch" sign, aka a "ped xing" sign, like you see all over Corellia)

"Source: Vendor: Crafted (Universal Prefabs)"

Corellian Zoo Poster

"Source: Vendor: Crafted (Industrial Prefabs)"

None of these is available from the listed prefabs vendors.
