If having something like this would not be possible for lore, canon or what ever other reason. What about something like a memorial Statue decoration that you can place in your stonghold and have one for each character that in Real Life has passed.

this is not a problem. Lore knows scenic names, but do not know the real names, but these names we know... they remain forever in the hearts of those who are even slightly familiar with the Saga

Not to poke the bear or anything, but if Star Trek Online can do it for Spock and the other trek greats who have made the jump warp speed and gone where no one can go, then we owe it to Carrie Fisher to give her some kind of acknowledgment for all she's done.

I like how they did it in STO... They should do it here as well...

The list at the moment is kinda long though:

Eddie Byrne (Gen Willard) - 1981

Alex McCrindle (Gen Dodonna) - 1990

Peter Cushing (Grand Moff Tarkin) - 1994

Don Henderson (Gen Cassio Tagge) - 1997

Jack Purvis (Chief Jawa in 4, Chief Ugnaught in 5, and Teebo in 6) - 1997

Alec Guinness (Obi-wan Kenobi) - 2000

Shelagh Fraser (Aunt Beru) - 2000

Peter Diamond (Stunt Cord) - 2004

William Hootkins (Porkins) - 2005

Michael Sheard (Adm Ozzel) - 2005

John Hollis (Lobot) - 2005

Phil Brown (Uncle Owen) - 2006

Larry Ward (voices of Greedo and Jabba the Hutt) - 2007

Richard LeParmentier (Adm Motti) - 2013

Christopher Lee (Count Dooku) - 2015

Drewe Henley (Red Leader Garven Dreis) - 2016

Erik Bauersfeld (Adm Ackbar) - 2016

Kenny Baker (R2D2) - 2016

Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) - 2016

I'm sure I am forgetting some, but I still think it would be cool.

STO did not just do it for Spock, though he has his own on Vulcan. There is one at SFA for all Cast/Crew. Thing is CBS has a direct line to STO that I think LucasFilm may not have to SWTOR.
