Dev Post EricMusco Posted November 28, 2016 Author Dev Post Share Posted November 28, 2016 Hey folks, As we have discussed previously, Warzone Commendations and Commendation Crystals are being removed from the game with Knights of the Eternal Throne. Our intention is that all of these currencies will be converted into credits on 11/29 when early access starts. Here are the conversion rates for each currency: 1 Warzone Commendation = 50 Credits 1 Common Crystal = 500 credits 1 Glowing Crystal = 1,000 credits 1 Radiant Crystal = 1,500 credits Upon logging in on 11/29 each of these currencies will be completely removed from the game and the appropriate credits will have been granted to each character on your account. Note that there is a 2 million credit per character limit on this conversion. Please check the conversion table above, if you would earn more than 2 million credits on a character, we recommend that you spend the appropriate currency before that time so that it is not lost. When you do heroics, weekly/daily wz, and weekly ops you would get crystals/wz comms in addition to credits. You're taking away part of our reward so what are you adding to replace it, additional credits? Doing a weekly ops during 5.0 gets you what, a few credits and command xp LOL. THIS is NOT one of those occasions. Anyone that is sitting on large mounds of coms/crystals and has not liquidated them on items they can either use or resell...... are victims of their own inaction. Nobody should be bumping up against the 2M credit limit except through negligence on their part on this one. And good for Eric in reminding everyone one last time now.. before the big patch tomorrow. I'm sure it's a sliding scale, based on level and perhaps rarity. I'm pretty sure they will tune it so a new player can afford them as they level up their first few characters. We need more credit sinks in game, after years of removing them .... actual credit sinks that remove credits from the economy... so this is not a bad move. Class set vendor is still there, next to the level 10 mods vendor. And prices are super cheap in terms of credits now.... much lower then the crystal rates they used to charge. Some people are claiming, in another thread, that you might be short as many as 2400 credits in your wallet after the patch. Even people claiming they are going to /quit over it. I have no way to verify the claim as I simply do not pay attention to anything under 5 digits in my credit balance, not even on brand new characters.
