BioWare, I need a letter of recommendation for Game Informer's highest honor.

Good morning BioWare. It's very rare that I come to you for anything. However, as your most famous, well-liked and loyal subscriber, I need a favor.

But before we get to my request/demand, please allow me to share with the community my gaming resume. Most of you already know who I am, but if not, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sir Marty the Magnificent and I've been professionally gaming since 1996. Now please take a look at my gaming resume...

1996-1999--Ultima Online: Stormed Lord British's castle with the fellowship led by Sir Copperfield the Honorable and killed the great King. This of course earned everyone a part of the fellowship a lifetime ban from all Ultima games, but it was worth it.

1998-2001--Everquest: I was both the second world-first to max level and to acquire a full set of the enchanted Legendary Armor, only behind Sir Copperfield himself. However, these achievements did not go unnoticed by the Gaming Legend, and I was knighted Sir Marty the Magnificent and became 2nd in command of his legendary PvP guild.

1999-2004--Asheron's Call: I was the first level 126 on the PvP server Darktide and on the PvE server Wintersebb, alongside Sir Copperfield. We were the most feared PvP'ers in all of Dereth.

2003-2003--Anarchy Online: Successfully sued Funcom for 5 million USD in damages for not reserving my name prior to release.

2004-2007--World of Warcraft: I was the first player to access the game and subsequently became the world-first to max rank as well as during the 2 expansions that followed. I also lead the highly feared and skilled PvP guild Gnomes of Warcraft on the Shattered Hand server.

2007-2013--Halo 3: I was the first to the global rank of 5 Star General as well as the first playlist rank of General in all matchmaking playlists. Due to these achievements Bungie gave me both the Recon armor and Bungie armor, with the latter making me the first and only non-employee to unlock Bungie armor within the history of the game.

2010-2016--Halo Reach: I was the first to the rank of Inheritor as well as the first to complete all of the achievements within the game.

2011-2016--Star Wars: The Old Republic: I was the first to achieve levels 50, 55, 60, and 65, the first to reach Valor 100 as well as the first to obtain the Legacy Lv. 50. I have the most achievements in the history of SWTOR with well over 50,000. I am the game's richest player with an estimated net worth of over 27 billion credits and was the world-first to complete every new Operation on its release date.

Now that you've seen my credentials, let's get onto business.

I've just been nominated by Game Informer magazine to receive their highest honor to gamers, the Global Gaming Ambassador, on the basis of being a professional gamer and Gaming Legend. I have spoken to the powers that be at Game Informer, and they require a letter of recommendation from any game developer currently associated with the nominees to win the nomination. My account information has my correct address, so please send the letter there. Afterwards I will forward the letter to the editor-in-chief. Just make sure it's on BioWare letterhead.

Also, a journalist from the magazine will be joining me in game this evening on The Harbinger server, to inspect my character and see how much I influence the community and its day-to-day events. Since I command respect everywhere I go, I'm not worried about this at all. All I ask is that we please act in a mature fashion and respect the immersion of the Star Wars lore for me and my fellow roleplayers until I say otherwise. She may pop in at any time this evening. If anyone ruins this for me...

Please, let me be the first to say congratulations on completely wasting your life.

Actually, with all the complaints, issues, and general negativity I've seen around here lately, a bit of comedy (even if it IS old comedy) is kind of welcome.

:p:p

Comedy was seeing him cry when he used to play TESO. Chat there ripped him to shreds.

I've always enjoyed reading your posts; they still make me giggle :) Where have you been hiding Sir Marty? I seem to recall you posting in Wildstar forums but that was some time ago as well.

I would gladly support your award were I a developer. Best of luck!

..I guess that's why he doesn't have any TESO achievements listed.

Yup. Many recognized him instantly (same Copperfield name and same posts) and he was instantly laughed at for hours, etc. Went on for awhile until he had a breakdown in chat and quit.

Who let you out from under Copperfield's desk?

Copperfield, come up with new material.

It got boring years ago.

Yup. Many recognized him instantly (same Copperfield name and same posts) and he was instantly laughed at for hours, etc. Went on for awhile until he had a breakdown in chat and quit.

Nope Marty & Copperfield are two separate people.

Marty & Coffee were the same I believe though.

I used to have all 3 on my server. Marty & Coffee would incite fights, trolling, rage, etc...

Copperfield would just aggravate people but after a bit if you got to know him, he was pretty cool.

(Marty crossed the ToS/RoC line in gen chat too. Surprised he didn't get a perma ban for it.)

Let's assume for a second that this is not just a stupid post. How would one know they were the first 50, first 55, first 60, and first 65 in a game such as SWTOR? I do remember the first Jedi on SWG on Bria, because it was such a huge deal, but the first max level player? And in this game, if I remember launch correctly, quite a few people reached max level all on the same day, because they apparently have no life and rushed through content to get there. (Which is their choice, to enjoy the story or not. They paid just like I did for the game. Not judging, just saying.)

And how does one know that they have the most achievements, most money, and the rest of his ridiculously stupid claims?

Show me the respect that I deserve or I will ban you from my guild.
