  1. I already quit the game, like a month ago. I'm not coming back until conquest is alt friendly again. The only good thing about this is that I'm saving money for the next WoW expansion if it keeps like this.
  2. Why? He's the coolest BH companion that we have.
  3. What I can say about population and activity based on my long playtimes before and after the conquest changes is that I barely see MM flashpoint que's popping up anymore. One of these days I've waited almost 2 hours to no avail. I wouldn't expect any different considering the changes and how they failed to revert them. My sub also runs out in 3 days and I'm not resubbing. I'll check back in a few months to see if they did anything worth to make me resub.
  4. It's good to know that they finally made up their minds on keeping this botched conquest model so I can just drop this game like a bad habit. I don't play in any guilds, I have many alts, I like to play the way I want and be rewarded just like everyone else, even a bit less because I'm not doing group content. If they want me to play the way they want, they got another thing coming. 17 days left to my subscription, I suppose this is the last time I've been subbed to this game - and no, I'm not buying any cartel market **** with my money, because you killed my interest in this game.
  5. Keep the new interface, bring the old conquest back.
  6. What about the rest of us with no guilds, or players with many alts? Do you want me to be forced to join guilds too so I can finally help you achieve something that you never could because of EAware's failure to balance? Should I be punished for that too because I opt out of being in a guild?
  7. This update was total garbage in regards to the conquest and crafting changes. You killed my desire to play the game. I'm not paying a sub to be forced to play what you guys want me to play, grind what you want me to grind. I am not renewing my subscription unless those awful changes are reverted.
  8. Pretty much the same for me. I am not resubbing. I hope by the time I feel like coming back to the game, it's not dead.
  9. Indeed, that's exactly what this update did to me as well. Sucks that they did this, but I already canceled my sub and knowing the changes won't be reverted I won't return in another year or so - if the game is still alive by then.
  10. Sorry about the necro, but I really, really would appreciate that this would be fixed as well. Give them twi'leks some love.
  11. Yes, I know, it's old... spoilers: minor rant here. Whatever this bug is, it's still around since the game launch! Trying to jump over obstacles, trying to go through tight spaces on irregular terrain, always making my characters float. Sometimes (rarely) they unstuck themselves, but having to use fleet pass or /stuck every time I find myself in this situation is rather ludicrous. Been playing this game since the release, on and off. Just came back after a year long hiatus and I am still baffled that my characters still float on surfaces, untargetable loot under the floor, etc, etc. Please, do something. You update your cartel market every month. Put on some effort to polish your game a bit more and you will get even happier customers. I really like this game, but every time I see things like this still around, it kinda makes me want to take a long break again.
  12. Honest opinion here, OP... dont waste your money on stuff you feel it is not warranted and do not waste your time trying to suggest ways to fix the population servers or anything that flat out criticises the poor management of the game as a whole... it is just better to watch grass grow instead.
  13. The answer is simple: WoW is the better game despite being older.
  14. You mean like, the reason why pvp servers are dead and were dead just a short while after the game released? LOL Adding instances just worked as a wake up call to show much people actually care about gankfests.
  15. OWPvP is a joke wherever it exists for the most part. It only consists of a bunch of higher leveled characters ganging up on low levels and when they are about to face some retaliation they disappear just as fast.
  16. Speak with your wallets. If the game isnt developing content for you at acceptable speed, then you should take a break from it until it gets better. Being subbed and complaining wont help much as you can see. Btw, I am not subbed. For some reason I can still post though.
  17. heh, you are coming back from WoW, I am going back to it after nearly a year subbed here. I've been away for a couple years from WoW though, so I guess I got a lot more stuff to do than you will probably have here =) Nothing much changed in 3 months here, only 3 more kotfe episodes, a nerf here and there to vanguards/powertechs and a "do it all again from scratch" event that you shouldn't bother too much with it.
  18. This is the most accurate post here. Just sub while the game keeps you enticed. When it fails to do so, stop subbing. At some point they might have something interesting for you and that should be more than enough to keep you in their business. If your subscription alone cannot justify what the game offers you on default but you keep subbing anyway, you are sending them the wrong message.
  19. OP deals a few deserved jabs at the game and/or its contents and he is promptly stalked by people taking it almost personal. LOL, gotta love fanboyism. On a serious note though, I really hope for the well being of this game that they do not come up with anything like this event, ever, again. Not that I care that much anyway - my sub has 1 day left and I will only come back for the rest of kotfe/kotet when it is nearly done, which means, by the end of next year perhaps?. I am not even going to wait for chapter 16 anymore.
  20. Taking cheapshots, eh? I easily make 1-2m daily without putting much effort. I dont even touch heroics. If I get lucky with some drops and stuff, I can get over that easy.
  21. Yeah, that kool aid is gonna cause diabetes.
  22. I played for six months (including beta) then I quit the game. Came back last september and my sub runs out in less than a week - less than 2 years in subs total. Never played f2p and probably never will. I got 18 lvl 65 characters, a few hundred million credits available, more speeders and mounts than I can count, 5 strongholds at 100% and all characters rated 216+ gear with augments. All professions maxed out among all characters and over 20 companions at rank 50 influence spread among the chars I used to play the most. All storages and perks unlocks fully unlocked on most characters. Got a bunch of somewhat rare sets, but nothing way too rare (simply wont spend hundreds of millions on stuff that I dont think is worth the value). All things considered, I guess I got a good run. I will take another long break (not as long as the nearly 4 year break I took last time) but only enough until there is enough content to entice me into subbing again.
  23. Actually it says its 208 - it is correct though, but for certain fps like rishi, BH and assault on tython, people geared in 208 will have a hard time unless they dominate their classes and mechanics.
  24. If I had it my way, I would made a prereq to be lvl 65 gated by gear level and at the very least completed the same version of the flashpoint in tactical mode. HMs went beyond retarded a long while ago.
  25. Honestly, I do not see how nervous or stressed he possibly could be. The guy worked on this game for a while and he is used to speak to audiences, although it can be a somewhat discomforting experience for some. I also highly doubt his job or anything related is on the chopping block solely based on this game's performances, otherwise he would have been cut for a long while now. In any case, what seems to be clear to me is that the game is completely going to be focused on a single player approach for the most part, which means, its gonna be more of the same of what we have now. Nothing new really, considering what a lot of people pointed out months before, but reinforced by his interview. I do still like the game and its story for what it is, mostly because it is star wars related, the only redeeming factor for me. What I simply cannot do is to justify 15 bucks a month for a droplet of single player content every month when there are lots of games around and new experiences to be found. I can see myself taking long breaks from now on, to let them gather enough "content" to justify a subscription.
