Quick observation since a couple of people seem to think "dual spec" means "hybrid spec." Dual Spec is a system where you can, with a single button press, switch your talents, gear and ability bars between two different specs. For example, as an Assassin, I could build my Darkness spec, save it, then press a button to switch to my Hatred spec, complete with a gear and hotbar swap. Back to lurking...

That's kind of the background story for my guild on Shadowlands (previously Davik's Estate and Pot5) We liked to raid but hated try hards that made the experience *********** awful. I'm almost inclined to rebuild with that mission in mind - to form up with like-minded individuals who want to learn and don't mind wiping and a few dick jokes.

Give one preset slot to everyone for free to get them hooked and sell additional slots on the CM for 550 coins each. One slot would allow switching back to your main spec/gear if you have to switch for PvP or whatever. To save more than just your main spec, it would cost you.

If my Commando could have, she'd have jettisoned him out of the airlock already. The only reason I want to take that character through KOTFE is to kill Vik.

This is a good compromise. Options are good. The problem with the auto-turnins is that it broke a few things that triggered on the conversations, like the Voss weekly and several codex entries that awarded titles. You also miss out on companion affection from the conversations. Running Belsavis heroics was the most efficient way to max that whiny Jedi chic with a female Inquisitor, for example. That option is no longer available to us. Bring back the story, Bioware!

I just took my Commando through Belsavis on her way to Chap 3. She is level 62 (LOL) wearing level 42 green mods in her gear. I cleared every h2+ on the planet without breaking a sweat. Voss was cake, too, in the same gear. I have not run into a h2+ on any planet that posed any challenge whatsoever if you know how to interrupt, CC, and prioritize your targets.

I had no idea the armor was BoL until this thread. I might have to acquire a couple of these sets.

It is another symptom of no longer turning in the quests at the terminals. I'm not sure how something like that made it through testing.

It is better to save and wait than to spend the money on something that will disappoint you in the end. The rig you have laid out will disappoint you in the end. Avoid AMD processors, period. I used to be an Athlon fanboy but I made the switch and Intel rules the day right now in bang for the buck. Wait and get an i5. With Nvidia cards, buy nothing other than a x60 (660, 760, 860, etc) or higher number. The x50 and lower numbers skimp on the good stuff that makes the cards perform. I'm simplifying it quite a lot but that is the rule of thumb I've been following and it works. The bottom line is still the same, though. You would be better off saving for a bit longer than building what you think is a good-enough rig now and being disappointed in the performance.

It looks bleak. They internalized the development and stopped showing us anything about a year ago. If you ask and actually get a response on Twitter or Reddit, they will say that work continues but will give zero concrete information. I'm calling it vaporware at this point and that sucks.

You are synched to level 52 for the JK end boss and my T7 at influence 4 set to healer soloed the emperor in less than 30 seconds. Face it, BW ruined the class story climactic encounters in a myriad number of ways that all collide to make something that should be mildly satisfying into a "That was it?" moment.
