Jurary
They are not, Nar Shada isn't linked with the Imperial Fleet Because Nar Shada is a neutral one.
Travisdk
Every GM is linked except for Nar Shaddaa. The reason behind this is that the GM on Nar Shaddaa is a neutral GM.
Zierk
Then why is it called GTN on Nar Shadda and not the NSTN? @_@
OkuKeelus
I don't understand why they wouldn't be linked together, was it not possible?A neutral GTN, when there's no Neutral faction? o.O If they are going to allow Republic and Empire to trade anyway, they should just link them all. Geez, how many load screens and spaceports does BioWare want us to go through for the most basic things :/ Edited December 27, 2011 by OkuKeelus
Travisdk
Because BioWare dropped the ball on this one :/ A neutral GM, when there's no Neutral faction? o.O Neutral GM means cross-faction.
kragb
Neutral as in neither Jedi or Sith. It's like the Neutral ones in WoW. Horde or Alliance could use it.
Travisdk
I don't understand why they wouldn't be linked together, was it not possible? It was completely possible. Have you played WoW? If so, this is the Booty Bay of SWToR.
alkanterah
Then why is it called GTN on Nar Shadda and not the NSTN? @_@ Isn't it called the Hutt trade network, or something with Hutt in it. I know it says GTN when it mails you your items back, but the signs don't say GTN I don't think.

Baaddare
Just think fo it as the blackmarket like the one they had in EQ2
alkanterah
Just think fo it as the blackmarket like the one they had in EQ2 Except that one was actually useful. To be equivalent, Imperials would need a way to browse the Republic's GTN. As it is no one goes back to NS just to list things. Or maybe they do, never seems to have much on it though. If it would display both factions GTN listings though THEN it would be worth the trip.
DaWodin
They are not linked, and this causes problems. Multiple small economies just make things worse. Rep/Imp is bad enough but a third independent market, (Hutt) and no link between any of them just makes things ridiculous. Post something on Coruscant and yes it is available for purchase at the republic fleet. The problem is there is no connection between the republic network, the hutt network and the imperial network. HelluvaJedi
I don't know exactly how the Hutt network functions, but if you can sell to the opposite faction then it does have a use. Republic players can find Empire schems and items, so if they want to sell them that is where it should happen.
