For a time I thought it would be about Theron Shan but he comes back in Chapter 9 and I'd very much see the Republic denying knowledge of a Jorgan-led Havoc Squad, to fill in while the Major is absent, intending to deflect accusations by Arcann of trying to fight him. Those who were romances, more important than others, etc. will come back. Just have to patient and build that alliance up for now C2-N2 more important...
