Nothing in this game takes any skill and Bioware should remove those no-skill builds from the game because it's not fun playing against them all the time. But you need Level 7 (I think) epic ship components which you could (or still can, don't know) buy for cartel coins on the cartel market to beat the heroic space missions.....clearly Pay2Win stuff! Every now and then I spend them on Decorations stuff from the PVP/GSF-Vendor, especially the imperial scout and the propaganda decos sell quite decent on my home server.
