Genesizs
HEAD HEADSLOT AGREE YES PLZ You can buy companion customisations to change their apearance but cannot hide the headslot wich making buying one a rather waste of money if you dont get to see them ? :s
Ancaglon
Agreed. And on Qyzen Fess, he now has a trooper helmet but bits of his head stick out of it (snout, ears)... at least Chewbacca er Bowdaar is hardcoded to ignore that stuff.

bobmcbo
the only companion where I would turn hide companion head slot OFF on- vector. less creepy in cutscenes that way if I give him something to cover his face

Katratzi
Can't agree enough with this suggestion. I am rarely in the mood to display a helm, and it bugs me no end when I have to look at some poorly conceived atrocity on my companions head. PaniMauser
Yes, hiding headgear on companions is essential. There are character customization kits in the game and I love looks of some of them, but what purpose do they serve if 99% of time you see this ugly helmet or that ridiculous hat instead? Removing a helmet from companions before every dialog and putting it on afterwards is so annoying! After all, you have an appearance tab for Bowdaar, Guss Tuno and other non-humanoid companions in the game already. No gear you put on them changes how they look, except of customization items. Just implement it for all other companions! (well, and for main characters too. I'd love to wear social clothing, but it is all light armor and my main needs medium, re-gearing all the time gets tiresome fast and inventory space is not cheap, haven't wore my social clothing since lvl32 as the result)

Mekare
/sign All the helmets look so bad, I generally take the stat hit and leave them helm-less. Wish it weren't so...

thegrognard
i quite agree with this option. Personally I wouldn't use it, however I can see why someone would like to use it. We have the option for our own characters so why not our companions?
Deewe
Removing a helmet from companions before every dialog and putting it on afterwards is so annoying! Before launch they said we were supposed to have a system to show/hide helmets separately for dialogs. Obviously it's been axed, for now.

Eshne
/agree If I am spending 12.5k credits to make my companion look better, I don't want to hide it under an ugly helmet.
PaniMauser
Before launch they said we were supposed to have a system to show/hide helmets separately for dialogs. Obviously it's been axed, for now. It 's kind of there. In personal dialogs with that companion the helmet indeed disappears. But the problems is that personal dialogs happen rarely, and in all other dialogs the helmet stays on:( Hiding head slot on companions would be a better solution. squierian
I agree. If we have the option to spend credits on customization for our companions, we should be able to see it.

Steelebourne
I can't agree enough. All headgear looks SO lame on everybody. My Mako has those stupid Geordi LaForge glasses on and she looks like a complete idiot! I sometimes remove them just before a conversation so that she looks halfway "respectable". scionave
I'm just on the same boat as this thread. Please add a check box to hide companion head slot. I feel like it's an obvious thing to not miss. If they thought far enough ahead that we'd want it (though it's in WoW), of course we'd want it for our companion.
