Przemo_No Posted June 16, 2014 Share Posted June 16, 2014 I assume 500k = 500 000 credits well, I got mine for 3 k - just bougth 3 additional (to the 5 we get free) smuggler coins out of curiosity, went to the machines, got 3 kingpins, went to other machines, 3 x press, kaboom, Rancor. However i was much more interested in Vectron mount and for that I had no luck at all. Out of 6 alts that I actually was wiling to travel to to NS, only the 1st one was succesful. The rest did not win much. But let's be honest, I would NEVER consider spending more than 50k on such gambling as it is. So, I won't really try, I prefer to earn the gear/mounts. Sangrar Posted June 17, 2014 Share Posted June 17, 2014 700k in still nothing, and according to calculations from dulfy.net it could take, using my method of farming kingpin tokens off the smuggler machines, around 2.3 mill, and thats assuming that based on a .09 chance (with feeling lucky buff of course) of getting the rancor drop that it will take around 1111 clicks on average to get the rancor. I literally farmed 76 kingpins and saved them, used them all at once, only got a few gold certificates, and that is what I am at now, 37 gold certificates. All I want it the rancor!! I bought smuggler tokens, won some Kingpin chips, used the KP machines with the lucky buff and blew up the third machine I tried. I won the Rancor (after some certificates), at around 170k. Took me around 400k in total for all the event achievements. All on that first visit. Subsequent visits the best I've managed with an imp toon is gold certificates. Took a smuggler in to win another magnus for ~15k worth of smuggler tokens, a subsequent JC won yet another magnus and blew up another kingpin machine for around ~25k. No one can even prove here, with just the text contents of a forum post, that they even have a rancor. Because some people find it amusing and social to share experiences. Sort of like the old guys sitting on the porch outside the general store talking about fishing and "the one that got away". Not every forum topic has to be a rant on the evils of Bioware and EA or a love fest counter post on how great the game is. Sometimes people just like to talk. Roshe Posted June 18, 2014 Share Posted June 18, 2014 Don't know the exact number, but I think it was under 400k credits before I got my rancor, and that was just credits I earned doing a daily or two over three days to use to gamble with rather than my regular stash of credits that I'm saving to use on Strongholds if I need to. I've spent around 500K now and have got both other mounts and currently saving up for all the Golden Certificate gear. No exploding slot machines yet though!
