Heya everyone! I think it's time we added a slightly newer parse to represent Arsenal in the 2.7.

 

Good news, It's better than the old one. Bad news, not by much.

 

PVP prevents devs from properly making arsenal on par with the pve dps potential of any other spec in the game. It really needs either a crit modifier on something, or just adding surge modifier to tracer missile (stupid that pyro has literally every single ability aside from electro-net with surge modifiers but arsenal only gets unload and HS)

 

This parse has good RNG, but not amazing. It's apm are a bit low but I've been sitting comfortably at the 32-34 range without many auto-attacks.

I average 3370-ish low parses are 3200s.

 

I'm sure someone out there can do better (I'm a clicker for god's sake), but at least it gives an updated parse.

Also I don't play arsenal on many bosses 'cause it's so terribad, unless you really need the armor debuff.

Ah, very cool. Do you know of a parse on the hybrid I could take a look at? I tried 0/33/13 and 2/28/16 last weekend, but both approaches seemed to give me trouble.

 

I've been trying to beat Goeblu's 3445 straight Gunnery parse without success. (It's the highest Gunnery parse I've found yet, so it seemed a decent baseline.)

Hmm? why bother if you are doing that then, every single talent you put in arsenal would be better in pyro untill top tier, only real reason to do it is the hsm front end burst.

 

That's getting ppa and barrage i assume?

 

I boss in pyro and my parsing in that is about 3900 dps, which is good, but not great enough to make mention of it here. I'll let Rocketsauce and Hexing represent for me.

Those two points can be put anywhere, so yeah. But for parsing I'd say the 2 points in Cell Capacitor is better for deeps.

This was a pretty average parse for me in Arsenal right before the PTS servers went offline, so pre-2.7 BiS: http://www.torparse.com/a/612619/20/0/Overview

 

I'd say I topped out around the low to mid 3600s, I'll try to get lucky one and post one officially, see what the RNG Gods can bring, but I gotta say, the changes definitely brought about a smaller overall dps RNG.

My last parse was probably the best play I've done of it but I had some insanely bad RNG. 7% crit on rail shot.

In all events, I honestly don't think that spec can come close to 3500, hell it would take fantastic RNG to hit 3.4k even because the filler is just too terrible to make up the difference.

Maybe i just didn't get the spec, but thats my take on it.

All of my logs were 3150-3230.

 

 

@Pizza, hmm looks like same thing as always, doesn't look like anything in particular to be done different, just not reacting/hitting fast enough to get the actions in. I do remember that more apm is always going to add more autos sadly. Actually kinda funny because they look almost identical in ability usage outside of rapid shot.

Ahh so even in that spec you are supposed to auto attack significantly? I was trying to do it with as little auto-attacks as possible. (also wtb his 563k crit damage! Mine was only 430k. His rail shot hits so hard.... Higher overall average than my average crit.)

Any of my finishing hits does not count. Why?

 

Using ToRParse you have to use the scroll down window to your left just underneath the times of your parses and you then have to select when your parse starts and when it ends to get a better look on what you did on the parse, having done this it should show you the final hit you did on the dummy.
