Dage Posted March 23, 2014 Share Posted March 23, 2014 (edited) I get similar dps with Dotsmash and Combat (Maybe slightly higher with dotsmash) in ops boss fights. The big difference comes in with the damage mitigation one gets from Combat Spec. PS: How come you haven't gone for that 3rd dps slot for Scoundrel/Ops dps, Keiki? Civilie Posted March 23, 2014 Share Posted March 23, 2014 Yeah dotsmash is certainly useful in raids, although I could see creating a separate section for it... the dummy parses are certainly "exaggerated." Combat performs just as well if not better in most ops situations. But I agree on the Engineering/Saboteur parses, lets just keep those out. I'll retract that Sabo TTK post. It's not as good as pure Rage for AOE fights by far. All DSsmash has done is replaced Anni in AOE heavy fights, which is arguable because of the survivability talents in Anni. TLDR, dotsmash bad.
