  1. I'm just looking at other peoples opinions and what not. I'm not saying I'm a good slinger or a bad slinger either. I can hold my own in HM/NM raids and what not but I feel like the class isn't in a good spot honestly. We do amazing on a dummy and parse as one of the highest on a dummy but we all know it doesn't tell the true picture until raids. In the raid fights that require a lot of movement or just in itself short phases I noticed that dps drops off drastically by like 1-2k dps, an example being ToS HM Revan. I was raiding with a guildie that was a Vanguard pulling consistant 9k on revan while me and another slinger we're just scrapping by with like 6.5 to 7k dps once **** starts getting hectic. I'm just wondering if any other slingers out here feel that we arent in a good spot atm with the new raids that are so movement heavy. Our skills require us to stand there and channel our hardest hitting attack 'Wounding Shots, etc" but at the same time once we break it early for a mechanic or our window of opportunity to use it closes dps is just hard to recover afterwards. I'm just looking to see if anyone else feels the same way or thinks they are completely fine the way they are. I understand that its been like that since day 1 with slingers being define as the "stationary turret" and whatnot but with how mechanic and movement heavy most fights are nowadays if we could use a little update.
  2. So granted its been a long time since i played, the rotation just doesn't flow as nice as it used to. I find my skills coming off CD together and/or having all my skills on CD and me having to hit slash once or twice. I've tried looking at some of the rotations but I'm generally confused. Is there a priority of skills that go before the other or am I just overthinking it? Just frustrated with how different the rotation is and not being able to grasp it since coming back. Any help appreciated so I can better understand my bread and butter again.
  3. Oh thanks for the link Kendra this'll help me out a bit.
  4. hmm okay, man everything is pretty much different now thanks for the input.
  5. So wait are people using the accuracy stim over Mastery now?
  6. Ahh okay, i understand. Ill probably just make do with what i get until 248s then. A bit annoyed but i understand better now, thanks.
  7. Thanks for the input guys. So prior to 248 gear alacrity build isnt as viable then?
  8. So I've played Guardian Vengeance since 1.0 and the formula has always changed with every major patch. I'm so lost now since last i played was like early to mid 4.0 cause i took a long break and the formula has changed again since 5.9 now. I've been looking for any kind of guide but seems like everyone has kind of gave up on Guardian DPS or this game entirely to be honest. I've seen some tips of like going for the usual 110% accuracy but I'm hearing about going for super high alacrity like 1860 for 1.3 GCD and everything into crit or a **** ton of crit and like low Alac. Which performs better because I used to be pretty min/max when i played. Im like super lost as the gear itself and building the Guardian Vengeance is so different now. Can anyone help elaborate?

Set the time interval according to start of combat and death of the dummy) then I beat WillGrayson on both ttk and dps.
