And you got it off of the reputation vendor, correct? There was no other way to obtain it? I did only purchase it in November or December.

Yes, I bought it from the reputation vendor shortly after it became available. Just looked it up, it was released with 3.0 and I bought the pet on January 31st, 2015.

But I believe that there is a bug with the Collections unlock anyway. There is this button where you can get a copy of the item but for pets, you usually automatically unlock the pet and don't receive an item in your inventory. But when I click on this button for the Cyborg Sablefur monkey, I receive the item in my inventory (but I can't use it since I already have the pet, and it's BoP and a CM item so the only thing I can do with it is destroy it). So they probably forgot to flag it as a pet and have it listed as a regular item.

But anyway, that's not helping you. I'm guessing that they bugged the Collections unlock for this item with 4.0, so try your luck with CS or accept that it will remain bugged.

I was able to account unlock my Cyborg Kowakian Monkey Lizard shortly after it became available. The Cyberglow Mewvorr doesn't show as collected for me, but that doesn't bother me since the CE vendor ones haven't had account unlocks in the past, just odd that one would show up in collections and the others don't. (I wish you could account unlock CE and other vendor pets in collections!) The one I have a problem with is the Pike. I can't get the collections arrow to let me pay for the account unlock.

Do you know what the TR-U4 Cartel Coin card reward is for? Is it the Raptor reward re-purposed?

I really had to hunt to spot the differences with the R1-H5 Astromech Droid that is in the pack. The Cyberlamp Mewvorr has made it in, but the Poisonous Kelldrake is MIA.

Does anyone know yet if EU Amazon really is carrying the Rancor pets now?

Yeah, I am looking forward to this, we haven't had pets in a cartel pack for ages. Given that this is the start of a new shipment, chances are high that they have changed the format. We'll know for certain on Tuesday when we can see them in Collections.

From what I can tell, the TR-U4 droid is just a "have a SWTOR account" type of reward, similar to the May 4th pets - in fact it could be this year's May the Fourth reward (though it would be a little early if they already added it now). Or it could be for a cross-game promotion like the Need for Speed/Ultima etc. battledroids.

In any case, I am pretty sure that it won't be the March subscriber reward, and it won't be a Cartel Coin reward but we'll have to wait for more information to be sure.

Since the droids have a different name than what I had in my list, I believe they renamed the droids but I'll wait until Tuesday to be sure.

According to the devs, Amazon EU has the Rancor pets but I cannot confirm it since I already have all the pets. Also, I didn't hear of a player who recently bought cartel coins from Amazon EU.

The Crested Orokeet can be bought from a vendor in the Cartel Bazaar for 25k credits - it's next to all the cartel reputation vendors.

The Model Flashfire pet is retired as of May 28th, 2015 and to the best of my knowledge, it is no longer available.

And in case you are confused by the title of this thread, don't worry. This is just a general pet discussion thread; sadly we can't rename it to a better title.

Dulfy changed the description of TR-U4 from being a Cartel Coin card reward to being a Subscriber Reward, so that does make it a little clearer. Now we just need to know when!

The server was only up for 16 minutes but this gave me enough time to check out the pets - which means we are now officially allowed to talk about them.

There are three new pets in Collections:

Cyberlamp Mewvorr (from Anarchist Alliance Pack)
R1-H5 Astromech Droid (from Anarchist Alliance Pack)
A6-M2 Astromech Droid (in the collections list) or TR-U4 Astromech Droid (the item name) under the Special category. So there's a small bug here; either the Collections are wrong or they are linked to the wrong pet.

Haven't had time to check out decorations and I have to check the English client to test if the bug is there as well. So I'll update when the servers are back up again.

I now double-checked and can say with certainty that the "A6-M2 Astromech Droid" was renamed to "TR-U4 Astromech Droid". I never really understood if those codes mean anything but it could be that they want to refer to the promotion this pet is tied to.

In the screenshot I posted, ít probably still says A6-M2 because they forgot to rename the pet there but I put in a bug report so they can fix it.

This means that they drew from the existing pool of unpossessable pets. I'm thinking that me talking to Dan Bunten at the cantina is the reason they are now making all those pets available but who knows.

I got a chance to check out 4.3 on the PTS, here's what has changed:

The Nerf Calf was renamed to Hill Nerf Calf, and they added two more pets: Nightland Nerf Calf and Arctic Nerf Calf. It appears that the devs are planning a puzzle similar to the Orokeet eggs or the Ice Scrabbler Jerky to get them; still too early to know for sure but it would be awesome if they manage to do it. It's just more fun having to work for it than getting it from a Cartel Pack.
The Poisonous Kell Drake, previously in the unknown status category, now shows up in the Collections for the Disavowed Pack releasing with Chapter XI on March 8. So it appears that they really do want to make all those pets avaiable, like I suspected in my previous post.
The pet that can drop from Eternal Championship will be an Iknayid, those are the small spiders you can find on Zakuul; they are also featured in the funny scene with HK-55 while the Gravestone is being repaired. As they mentioned on a previous livestream, it has a chance to drop from the 7th boss and as far as I understand, you can farm the pet independently from the weekly mission so it is not that hard to get, provided you can beat the 7th boss. It looks like the boss it drops from actually has some Iknayids fighting alongside him, which would be a nice touch that get to keep his pet after defeating him.

We are at 266 pets (added Nightland Nerf Calf, Arctic Nerf Calf and Iknayid).
