Jerba
For anyone who has trouble with differentiating all of the Fastcard cards, I scanned them all and created an overview. Hope this helps with finding the correct card. -> http://i.imgur.com/60FZefN.jpg Also, has anyone else looked at today's e-mail from SWTOR? If you missed it, here's the link to it: http://ebm.em.ea.com/c/tag/hBTbAyDB7uvlmB858abNslQCTya/doc.html Once again, it's nice that they advertise the cards, but I wish they'd take more care and not mix up the pets once again. 2400 Cartel Coin cards now available at participating retailers in-store and online. Get an Exclusive pet with each card! 5500 Cartel Coin cards now available at Amazon.com! LEARN MORE! Europe: Forest Nekarr Cat Target: Model GSS-3 Mangler Best Buy: Arctic Manka Lynx [should be Model NovaDive] Gamestop: Lobelode Walmart: Model S-13 Sting [should be Model M-7 Razorwire] Amazon: Model S-12 Blackbolt While the Hotshot's pack was a little on the short side pet-wise, it looks like the next two packs will once again give us four new pets each; check out Dulfy for pics. And we are also going to get a new pet with the Nar Shaddaa casino event. They renamed it from Golden Server Probe to GO7-DY with Thursday's patch -- a much more fitting name IMO. <3 You can view the subteroth pet we are getting for the May 11th promotion in the current Insider video: For anyone wondering, it is going to be the Heliotropic Subteroth! Including 2.8 on the PTS, I am currently tracking 201 pets in total, of which 171 pets are marked as possessable. AlrikFassbauer
I've seen that E-Mail as well. I feel kind of insulted that "Europe" is considered that small so that it won't get any additional pets. It is an open secret that american game magazines have a negative bias towards European games, *always* giving them less good reviews than they give american games - and this is a theme I see everywhere : U.S. based game companies distributing their stuff world-wide just don't care about Europe or any other continent. SWTOR is and remains and will alwys be an american game, no matter whether they already have a French and a German sub-forum as well. Yes, they even withdrew the community representatives for both at one point. Both sub-forums are very much neglected by now, so much that if you want to discuss the game and get the newest information you have to be able to read the English language. As if no other language shall exist on this world ... And yes, I got bitter over the years, after watch ing too many incidents like this. My favourite example is the U.S. Collector's Edition of the "Pool Of Radiance" game vs. the ugly European Collector's edition of the same game - which the publisher had never planned in the first place (scans can be seen on Moby Games). Jerba
I realized that my last list is more than a month old, so I'd like to post an updated list. Changes are that the new EU pet is not available at the moment, and I added the link to the Gamestop.com online purchase. Note that the Gamestop.com 2,400 cartel coins with Lobelode are currently on sale, for $14.99 (25% off). So if you want a good deal on Cartel Coins, make good use of it! I'm still hoping they'll soon have the new pet at Gamestop; it's way overdue... Also, I got an e-mail about a new F2P game by EA called FIFA World. While I couldn't care less about that game, there is a small chance that they'll do another exclusive promotion where you can only get a pet if you have an account there. So I'd recommend every pet collector to spare a minute to register there. Just go to www.easportsfifaworld.com. Since the SWTOR account is connected to EA, you can just login with the same e-mail address and password as in SWTOR. It is enough to login, you don't even need to download the game, but that way you are in the system for any future promotion. Finally, here is the current list of Cartel Coin cards. As always, if you have any new information, please share it! Generation 1 pets: EU (physical): Forest Nekarr Cat - available (German/Austrian version): EAN 5035224111541 GameStop (digital): Lobelode - in stores as "EA Star Wars TOR 2400 Cartel Coins" or online. retiring soon Walmart (physical): Gilded Flutterplume - UPC 79936604974, retiring soon BestBuy (digital): Arctic Manka Lynx - from the Pre-Order kiosk, SKU 8919082, or online. possibly retired by now Amazon.com (digital): Umbral Blurrg - retired on November 12th, 2013 Target (physical?): Crested Orokeet - shortly available from BestBuy before being recalled, now unknown Generation 2 pets: BestBuy (physical): Model NovaDive - available, SKU 2308029 (advertised as Model Flashfire) Amazon.com (digital): Model S-13 Sting - available Walmart (physical): Model M-7 Razorwire - available, UPC 079936615316 (advertised as Model B-4D Legion) Amazon.com (digital): Model S-12 Blackbolt - available for 5,500 Cartel Coins Target (physical): Model GSS-3 Mangler - available, Store Item Number (DPCI) 207-08-0265 EU (physical): Model FT-6 Pike - shortly available but not anymore (advertised as Model S-13 Sting) GameStop: Model Flashfire - unknown (advertised as Model NovaDive) Edited May 23, 2014 by Jerba
Damask_Rose
Thanks for bumping this! My account renews tomorrow and I wanted to cancel it first to see if I can make friends referrals work again. Mother-in-law is coming to visit for a week and if I can refer her, I'm hoping to get our family pvp group back together for the visit. Plus I'd get the next referral pet
AlrikFassbauer
My sister had been on vacation in New York for a week 2 weeks ago - she said she couldn't buy me such a card. Okay, they were busy doing sightseings but she also said to me that she couldn't find a single CD record shop there ( I asked her to bring me the newest album by The Bangles, which is almost impossible to get here in Europe ), and she claimed that it was to her as if there were no record shops or CDs being sold in general at all. That left me quite frustrated. She was my only hope.

Jerba
Any new cartel coin pets yet? No, unfortunately not. I keep checking http://www.gamestop.com/pc/dlc/star-wars-the-old-republic-2400-cartel-coins/109417, but it only has the Lobelode available and no new pet. Also, I am really looking forward to the housing expansion. Looking at the live stream, it appears as if you can place every one of your pets in the stronghold; there is no limit on it, as long as you have enough hooks for them. But unfortunately, they'll just be standing in place and won't wander around. On the stream, they showed a few of the upcoming pets. Strangely, they were not under the "Mounts, Pets and Companions" category, but under "Personnel". Carbonite-Frozen Kowakian Monkey-LizardCartel MJ-52 MiniprobeConspicuous Consumption ProbeCzerka EW-94 Miniprobe I rememember the Carbonite pet being heavily requested in the CM suggestions forums, and Corey Butler also hinted about it on his Twitter. However, I am currently not adding those four pets to my list since they are not in the live client right now and they may very well trash them. So not counting those four pets, I am currently tracking 201 pets, of which 181 are possessable in-game. Edited July 5, 2014 by Jerba
FalonGray
Yep, Target FINALLY is selling the Cartel Coin Cards. And here is a photo of the new pet, the GSS3-Mangler Could you please tell me the location of the Target you found the card at? The manager at my local Target said he would order them if I could give him the SKU. I'd like to call your Target and get it.

I actually did read about the part number here and found that unlike many of their other items, this DPCI doesn't pull the item up on their website. I even called and not only could they not find what I was looking for, they said that DPCI was for a Riot Game Card (clearly the system just pulls that up as it has the next sequential number after 207-08-0265). I see that, at least for me, the eHow directions are key. Short Version: Thank You!

And don't trust the website too much - maybe their contract only allows them to sell the card in-stores and not online, or they just did not want to do the hassle to create an online page for it. The employees in the stores have a different system than the website, so when they search for the DCPI in their computers, they should be able to find it. Jerba
With today's patch (2.8.2), they added a new exclusive mini-pet, you can check it out in the Collections, it is the Zonian Monkey-Lizard and apparently it is connected to a Cartel Coins card from Amazon. So far, neither the pages for the 2,400 and 5,550 Cartel Coins or the SWTOR.com Help Center have been updated, so I would hold off from rushing to purchase a Cartel Coins card there yet, and hope we'll soon get more information on this. Here's the in-game mail that you'll supposedly get along with this pet: Thank you for your purchase of a Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Cartel Coins card. Enclosed is a special in-game reward as a thank you for your purchase! Your Zonian Monkey-Lizard Mini-Pet will stay by your side as you travel the galaxy. Curious by nature they love to explore but be careful as some have been known to have a temper. Have fun, and may the Force™ be with you! I find it interesting that this new pet is not a model starship. It looks like they are done with the pets to tie in with GSF, and are releasing a new generation of pets, maybe related to the next expansion. Therefore, I am tentatively putting the new pet under Generation 3, subject to change of course for when we get more information. Generation 1 pets: EU (physical): Forest Nekarr Cat - available (German/Austrian version): EAN 5035224111541 GameStop (digital): Lobelode - in stores as "EA Star Wars TOR 2400 Cartel Coins" or online. retiring soon Walmart (physical): Gilded Flutterplume - UPC 79936604974, retiring soon BestBuy (digital): Arctic Manka Lynx - from the Pre-Order kiosk, SKU 8919082, or online. possibly retired by now Amazon.com (digital): Umbral Blurrg - retired on November 12th, 2013 Target (physical?): Crested Orokeet - shortly available from BestBuy before being recalled, now unknown Generation 2 pets: BestBuy (physical): Model NovaDive - available, SKU 2308029 (advertised as Model Flashfire) Amazon.com (digital): Model S-13 Sting - available Walmart (physical): Model M-7 Razorwire - available, UPC 079936615316 (advertised as Model B-4D Legion) Amazon.com (digital): Model S-12 Blackbolt - available for 5,500 Cartel Coins Target (physical): Model GSS-3 Mangler - available, Store Item Number (DPCI) 207-08-0265 EU (physical): Model FT-6 Pike - shortly available but not anymore (advertised as Model S-13 Sting) GameStop: Model Flashfire - unknown (advertised as Model NovaDive) Generation 3 pets: Amazon: Zonian Monkey-Lizard - unknown, appeared with patch 2.8.2 This brings the total number of pets I currently track to 202. The number of possessable pets stays at 181, but this will quickly change to 184 with the Rakghoul Resurgence event approaching as early as next week. Jerba
I'd separate it into 3 lists -- Obtainable, Previously/Temporarily Obtainable, and Unreleased. Hm, that's a good idea, never thought of that. I first created the list for myself to keep track of pets I was missing, so I never really cared about the pets I already have. But the main question is, how do we differentiate between obtainable and previously obtainable pets? For example, pets from older Cartel Packs are no longer purchaseable, but they could still be available on the GTN. I'm thinking about the following distinction: Previously obtainable: All BoP pets that are no longer available. Obtainable: All BoE pets no matter whether they're available, and BoP pets that are still available. Would this work for you? By the way, thanks to Dulfy, we got the sources for most of the new pets added with 2.9: Carbonite-Frozen Kowakian Monkey Lizard -- Gatekeeper's Stronghold Pack (5.2) Model SGS-S1 Condor -- Gatekeeper's Stronghold Pack (5.2) Imperial LE-34 Miniprobe -- Gatekeeper's Stronghold Pack (5.2) Model B-4D Legion -- Constable's Stronghold Pack (5.3) Cartel MJ-52 Miniprobe -- Constable's Stronghold Pack (5.3) Czerka EW-94 Miniprobe -- Seneschal's Stronghold Pack (5.4) Model Spearpoint -- Seneschal's Stronghold Pack (5.4) Minimech CM-12 -- Architect's Stronghold Pack (5.5) Model FT-3C Imperium -- Architect's Stronghold Pack (5.5) Conspicuous Consumption Probe -- unknown, added with 2.9 Edited July 26, 2014 by Jerba
Telanis
You raise a good point. I was thinking more like BoP pets that no longer have any possible method of access. An example would be when Best Buy got the wrong pet and those cards were called back, or the EA F2P game droids that were not converted to refer a friend rewards. Perhaps the retired first series of cards as well? In any case I agree with your proposed distinction. Maybe I should just make my own lists haha, I don't want to create work for you. Mostly I want to say "Hey BioWare, through no fault of my own I can never get these pets:" and ask them to fix that. Mostly I want to say "Hey BioWare, through no fault of my own I can never get these pets:" and ask them to fix that. Well, I'll just add a new column to my spreadsheet and gradually fill that in. Once I have all the pets listed, I'll probably post it, but don't count on it soon. Maybe creating your own list would be a better idea. It's just the golden probe droid from the Festival of Splendor event. Are you sure about that? I believe the probe from the Nar Shaddaa event is "G07-DY", and this "Conspicuous Consumption Probe" is a new pet (or at least a recolor). Also, I found the Aquatic Mewvorr on the GTN (it is BoE), so I think it may be a rare drop from the Manaan fp or something. Please let me know if you see it drop somewhere. By the way, I started decorating my Coruscant stronghold with all of my 177 pets, this is how it looks like: http://i.imgur.com/A9RyBLr.jpg. If you fully fill up the space, you need roughly three rooms to place all pets, but then you can't place any other items there. It is probably better to spread them out into multiple rooms. Also, keep in mind that there is a maximum hook limit of 300 for Coruscant. So if you place all of your pets, you only have ~120 hooks left for any other items, even though there are much more hooks available. It does get a little laggy when you enter a room full of pets, but once all pets are loaded, I get 60 FPS, so the engine can surprisingly handle 100+ pets at once. But it's probably a good idea to turn off nameplates so that you can actually see the pets. I am a little worried about the number of pets you can place. On the livestream they said: When you possess a pet, you will be able to place this pet once per stronghold. But on the PTS, you can only place it once in your legacy, and then when you switch to a different stronghold, it is no longer placeable. I hope that this is a bug, otherwise we'd have to designate a "pet stronghold", or split up the pets between all strongholds. I really like this patch note: "Pets now occasionally make noises." When you are standing next to a pet in a stronghold, you can occasionally hear it make noises (the same ones you hear when you right-click a pet). I really like that they added this, was totally surprising. Though if they have time to do something about pets, I'd rather wish they fix other bugs, like where your pets get unsummoned when you change your planet. Anyway, really looking forward to decorate my stronghold with my pets when 2.9 hits. Edited July 26, 2014 by Jerba
Jerba
The Rakghoul Resurgence event has started, this time on Tatooine, which means that three additional pets are now possessable! Contaminated Rakling -- can now be bought at Jeelvic (previously, it was not possible to buy it because we lacked the reputation rank)Plaguetail Kowakian Monkey-Lizard -- can now be bought at Jeelvic (previously, it was not possible to buy it because we lacked the reputation rank)Plaguehorn Reek -- dropped by Plaguehorn, the world boss on Tatooine, only spawned during the Rakghoul event (Coordinates: 1271, -1304). We were able to do it in a 4-man group (1 tank, 1 healer, 2 DPS). The MK-3 relics to cleanse the infection debuff are recommended. The boss only drops one pet, so you need to kill it multiple times when you want everyone in the group to have it. It has a 20 minute respawn timer.Plaguetooth Sleen -- still not available. AlrikFassbauer
Are you sure about that? I believe the probe from the Nar Shaddaa event is "G07-DY", and this "Conspicuous Consumption Probe" is a new pet (or at least a recolor). This pet could come from - - a new FP - a new Cartel Market Pack - a new cross-promotion by Bioware ... You know, they are currently "viral-promoting" an new game ... Jerba
This pet could come from - - a new FP - a new Cartel Market Pack - a new cross-promotion by Bioware ... You know, they are currently "viral-promoting" an new game ... Yeah of course, anything is possible at the moment. We have pets that have been in the files for more than two years now and they're still not available, so time will tell. Personally, my guess is that it will be from a Cartel Market pack. On the PTS, we were not able to preview the first Stronghold pack, so it could very well be from there. Current, it is a BoP item as far as I can tell, but who knows, wouldn't be the first time they changed the binding shortly before bringing the CM pack. Regarding the new Shadow Realms horror game from Bioware, I somehow doubt that the Conspicuous Consumption Probe will come from there, it just doesn't fit thematically, and I'd hope that they won't bring another exclusive pet, after the disaster the battle droid pets from the F2P games caused. In any case, I'm signed up for their newsletter so that I'm eligible for any promotion they may do. There is one other pet where I don't know for certain where it is from, the Aquatic Mewvorr. I found it on the GTN on the Public Test Server, so I am assuming that someone had it drop in the Manaan FP and he sold it. However, this is not confirmed, so if any one knows for sure, please let us know. By the way, if you do not yet have the Infected Womp Weasel, make sure to buy it this week from the Cartel Market (120 CC)! It is usually only available during Halloween or the Rakghoul event, so make sure you buy it before they remove it again. LegoUniverseBC
Just an FYI for anyone who is interested; on the PTS if you click the "Pets" area on your personal furniture list and click show all you can see all the pets like the Nightmare Kell Drake, and others that are unreleased, this also works for mounts as well. I'm still hoping these make it in game since they have models and look very nice.
Chalous
Ok, I know that the symbiote rakling is dropped from Eyeless (or at least that was what I was told anyway) but I heard that it was a super rare drop. I have done Eyeless both times and have never seen one drop. How the heck am I suppose to get this rakling when this event is only out for a week and you can only kill Eyeless 1 time in that week and never even see it drop. I have all my other raklings but this one.
