leijae Posted August 4, 2013 Share Posted August 4, 2013 (edited) Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, Torbattles.net is working on a system to show who are the "top" rated teams on a given server.This system should be ready by the end of the week (around 8/7 or 8/8)This is how teams will get a rating (similar to an in-game individual rating): //First 3 submitted wins are worth 10 points (notice it doesn't say first 3 games)After first 3 wins://A win against a team that is within 20 points of your team's rating is worth 5 points//A win against a team that is lower than 20 points of your rating worth 3 points//A win against a team that is higher than 20 points of your rating is worth 8 points//A loss counts as 0 points We feel that this system is the best to determine a team's actual skill rating. It gives teams lower teams that have improved a chance to catch up the higher ranked teams, and it keeps the higher ranked teams from capitalizing on the lower ranked teams. However.... we are open to suggestions regard the rating system. It will be the responsibility of the Team Leader, or a member of the team, to update their wins at TORBattles.net, just like they do here. It seems like a large number of people care, judging by both LD50 forum activity and the amount of relies in threads related to them.
