Star Wars: War of the Dream Teams

What about when the facts support such a statement?

For instance, what if I said: "Thrawn is much smarter than Admiral Ackbar, so he has the advantage."

Not only do the facts prove this, but this has actually happened before.

Just because facts support such a statement does not mean the entire battle is done and over with because of that statement alone I am also looking for ingenuity on the part of the Supreme Commander I.E. yourself to decide the course of the battle :)

Not to start a debate, but statements like that don't work because those were COMPLETELY different circumstances.

Artwork, my friend, artwork.

But yes, different circumstances and all that jazz.

Of course. And I don't expect it to. Just trying to guage how well past exploits will impact the overall game.

Not that it matters, of course.

.Also another thing, will it just be a debate between the factions or can others chime in?

I say we allow others to join in. As long as they understand that faction leaders control movements, strategies ect...

but in debates about power/rules/outcomes I think outside (somewhat more objective) viewpoints would be helpful in breaking stalemates and creating upsets.

You're screwed? What about me? Apparently I can't form an alliance because I'm overpowered.

Actually Aubere I always figured I would start out teamed with you after all if you ever checked where my military hub is kind of neighborly to do so don't you think and its not Like our representatives aren't used to working together you can actually count on my support if you would want an alliance it would give both of us access to some good factories and staging grounds and provide good protection for the early part of the war....... Also I finished my final edit and I know that my elite troop is a force sensitive but I ask please leave it alone I really like this set up and as far as I can tell an elite force is elite for a reason there aren't many of them but they can really shift the field of battle I don't see them as much better then the massasi or the nohgri so please just let me keep my dream team alive and dreamy looking :)

Storyline: With Emperor Krayt taking the throne to form a new Empire under the One Sith forged out of the fires of the Imperial Remnant, the Zann Consortium approached with an alliance, as the infrastructure left over from the numerous factions now filling the galaxy was weak under Krayt's empire, the offer was too good to refuse, but the potential for a split due to the Fel Empire's hereditary Imperial line was too threatening, so Darth Krayt married Marasiah Fel and the new Empire was solidified with Gilad Palleaon taking the position of Supreme Commander of the Imperial Fleet and Darth Nihl becoming both the Hand of the Emperor and the Supreme Commander of the Imperial Army. Admiral Daala taking the position of the official face of the Imperial military with Empress Fel taking the position as the official face of the new alliance itself, Tyber Zann himself preferring to take a behind the scenes role.

I decided to join in anyway, as you can see, I have gone distinctly Imperial, I figure that by choosing from the same faction or at least in my case, variations of the same faction, I would have some unity and and a lot less chaos involved, Imperials work better with other Imperials as I see it.

As is every other damn planet in the galaxy, I also find it really nice that people are playing bait and switch already.

Hey hey hey!

I had to go through the same thing finding my planets >.>

And you're far more knowledgable than me! You'll find something as good... And if you don't, remember, Empress Teta's borders are always open to my allies.... (If we win the vote)

Oh and who are you rendering to by bait and switch? Because if you're referring to who I think you are...

Ah nevermind me, I just had a lot hanging on Empress Teta, but I decided to choose a superior location.

Also, I shouldn't have to point out what I was referring to, everybody can see it.

Also Aurbere, I shall give you Byss for Muunilinst.

Oh come on, just say it.

If you wont, and its what im thinking of... you're mistaken ;)

I can already tell given by some units, that some battles may be clearly one sided unless specific rules/layouts are given and even then. Kinda sorta another reason, other then shooting myself in the foot that I ain't joining. Edited by Wolfninjajedi

Or alliances are allowed, though obviously said alliances must be fairly balanced and not obvious counter alliances to any one other participant.

Wow, this is a great idea! Unfortunately I'll be unable to participate do to lack of time and the fact that, well, all the best stuff's taken. :D

But who to support... The King of the Kaggath, the Queen? Or perhaps the only one smart enough to put Traya on her team...

Speaking of which, I have some advice for Selenial:

Hey, no peeking! This is for Selenial's eyes only!

I said no peeking!

Fine, look, you little cheater.

Darth Traya would make an excellent assassin, given her certain set of skills *cough* Force concealment *cough* *cough* Force stealth *cough.*:D

But Beni, wouldn't be a debate without you.

Also, not everything is gone, not at all, there is plenty left, I thought the same, but having looked at a galaxy map, there is bombshell ton of space left.

Psst!

Yes you! Over here!

I SAID BENI ONLY

Dude! Come on >.>

Fine, look anyway.

I'd realised this, but Traya as my champion makes her Leadership skills even the more Valuable, an assassin would have to be someone not known in my Empire, and i simply cannot afford Traya to go deep in the Shadows. I expect her to be as much of a moral boost as Saul karrath (Probably more, he's there as a placeholder, dont think i need one anyway :p)

Agreed.

Would be farest if you Aubere and Rayla picked last anyway, due to your expansive knowledge, but i Really think there is a lot left.

Trench will be available for the picking too soon, again, he was Merely a placeholder, a Puppet to Traya ;p

Tempting, but Muunilist makes sense for my faction, given my investor is San Hill.

However, there are benefits to an alliance...;)

NOOOO!

Pick me dammnit! :p

Edit: But in all seriousness, if this alliance thing goes through... I have a plan for the long run if you're interested in a partner :p

Well if you haven't looked at my planets or at least a good galaxy map recently.... ;)

But hm, an alliance, what an interesting proposition.
