Pretty sure that the Elder scrolls character spells his name as M'aiq with a Q. Also, might wanna reserve the name now if you really want it - there's bound to be some competition on that front. CloudCastle Posted April 28, 2013 Share Posted April 28, 2013 It looks like they've updated the Cathar look a bit since the first trailer came out last summer. Before their patterns looked like crazy face paint, and now they look more natural, so I'm excited about that. Jedi knight Cathar looks a little too much like a Zabrak for my tastes, and I already have 2 of those. I really like the facial color shading on the trooper and the smuggler, the way their fur blends from a darker to a lighter color around certain facial features. I like the sith warrior's color patterns a lot, but it also reminds me a bit of a Voss with hair, so I'm curious to see that one in the actual character manager. Looks like a new hair style on him, and I like that. I like the new hair style on the bounty hunter too. The Cathar whose look I like a lot is the Imperial soldier in the Makeb storyline. From what I'm seeing it should be quite possible to make nice looking ones as well, though! Aric Jorgan and the Cathar on Makeb on the Imp side both look decent, in my opinion, so there's that. zorroazul Posted April 28, 2013 Share Posted April 28, 2013 (edited) To be honest my friends, I really like the novelty of introducing a new alien species, though like many other fans, I'd would've choose a different one, like Tograta or Nautolan. The cathar looks nice and all, but my big problem is, like many of my fellows players, I grew up watching that popular 80's cartoon: Thundercats. I know, this is pretty dumb and silly but... for god's sake! I just can see them like anything else but carbon-copy of those characters! Every single one of them is represented in this new race! Again, apologies if I sound disrespectful, but this new addition really feels like Star Wars meets Thundera. Not exactly bad, but certainly not 100% star wars feeling.
