  1. Lowest parsing spec atm (behind operatives yes).
  2. Hi, Marksmanship used to be the most versatile ability and the most bursty sniper spec. Still a great spec in terms of raiding BUT...What happened with that nerf developers ? Why would you think it'd be smart to nerf one of the best and most used specs in the game ? Why constantly nerfing and overpowering classes ? What kind of game designing is that ? I am on the leaderboard parse for The Shadowlands and when I used to push 6.4k now I barely reach 6k. Same in ops. All my fellow marksmen suffer from the same fate. BIOWARE FIX MARKSMANSHIP !
  3. Yeah I know Engi is the best sniper dps spec as of now but I like MM better in boss fights. Target switching, burst and single target dps advantage. But I will take a look at engi. I already parse like 5.5k with MM in raid (KP nim was our last run) and I don't pick a spec for its parse advantage but more for its functions.
  4. Honestly picking a class because it is overpowered defies the purpose of roleplaying and gaming. I love snipers (MM) and I won't never switch. You just have to work harder.
  5. Yeah I was experimenting with frag grenade I never use it in raiding. Ok I will apply it. I already got the 1.5 million dummy and checked the sharpshooter. Is there any other suggestion you'd have for me ? Rotations wise. Thanks ! I don't care about being the best parser but I want to reach certain standards (6.2k ideally)

  7. Bioware, After the sniper changes in 4.0.3, I realized that you are constantly making readjustments when it's not necessary. And now us, raiders, have to pick certain classes to dps decently which is unacceptable. Get your head out of your fourth point of contact and give certain classes the care they deserve. If it ain't broke don't fix it !!! It's the same bs you are serving us at every update. Stop for the game's future sake.
  8. As an experienced Sniper I can tell you 3 things : 1. Limit your movements. As a sniper, a movement is most likely a dps loss due to the way our class is designed (cover necessary). Maintain raid awareness but try to remain stationary as much as possible to deploy your full rotation. 2. Use your offensive cool downs and defensive cool downs wisely. Learn to recognize different type of damages (spike and ticks) and when your rotation requires an offensive cool down. 3. Don't chase numbers. You want to parse 5.8k in full 224 but past that, your operational functions and raid awareness will make the greatest addition to a raiding team.

Any suggestions ? And what about energy management in this type of rotation ?
  10. That's a nice idea actually. We could add a pvpve feature as well (seen in Aion)

  12. Hi everyone !!! My ig alias is Echelons (Empire), I am a geared ranged dps (sniper) that have been playing MMORPG for more than 10 years. I come back from an 1 year hiatus on swtor and currently full 220s. I am looking for a raiding guild with a drive to clear all hm and nim content. Being in the armed forces, I have a pretty stable schedule besides deployments. Please add me ig, I will be happy to answer all of your questions, on this thread as well.
  13. It's not supposed to be like that. Back in the days, we used to level at the same rate as the planet or maybe 3 to 5 levels above if you are an over achiever. Then 4.0 messed everything up. Leveling is way too fast and needs to be adjusted.
  14. And all these items mods will be related to the main story arc. Same for the vaults, it's in the continuity of the neutral trend as well.

Hi, So, a lot of us are burning through the content fast, which is a natural thing. 2 things could be implemented to bring another PvE element into the mid-game and endgame : • New items modifications, 4 per advanced class. I.E a little laser device module for snipers providing with a +60 accuracy rating, a handguard on the upper receiver of the rifle providing with a +60 alacrity rating or night vision goggles providing with a +60 crit rating, etc (same case for other classes)...These items would be available through epic chain quests and exploration. It would bring the best of both worlds, making exploration and PvE rewarding ! And it would bring a more unique look to your character (all these new items mods will display on your character, visually). • Vaults : they are a 2 or 4 men challenges, with lore secrets and unique rewards. The vaults are secret locations built by the "Architect", a mysterious individual with unknown motives. They will offer a real challenge to the players with Puzzles and a level design evolving in realtime, involving gravity and verticality. It will require coordination and dexterity. You can also implement these earlier in the game or matchmake with the same level range. I studied game design. And I do understand that there are certain limitations but this is within a realistic scope. Please share your views and support it. The devs might (meh) take a look !

  22. I don't see how it's a valid argument in favor of this system. Comps gearing needs to be reinstated and level sync optional. Tired of this casual mindset.
  23. Yes they are the most versatile and best dps/heals but they are designed for players with a functional brain
