Hi soneil,

This is a fantastic resource, and since you just got it updated for Reputation, I wanted to point out that Patch 1.7.2 added new rewards, so you'll need another update soon. :rak_tongue: Thanks for putting it together and keeping everyone updated with the latest and greatest stuff in the world of Space Combat!

I just noticed that in the patch notes. :)

I'll get on to it.

Just letting people know I've pretty much finished work on my space missions resource site. Just got the last couple of imperial heroic mission video guides to add. All other space missions in the game have complete guides now and other sections of the site are done. Thanks for all the people who have given feedback and suggestions. Glad people have been finding it useful. :)

Great Site and congrats on the good work you have done on it.

I have notes that are pretty much like this. But I made them as a Level 50 Republic Player so they will not show the specifics for earlier levels.

I did notice a few things that you are missing though. AmberGreen mentioned one which I am replying to below. I will add a few other things as well after that reply.

Hi soneil,

I noticed he was missing those Reputation Rewards. They will be either 270 or 630 depending on the mission.

@ soneil

The first thing I want to point out is that some of the missions have the Bonus requirements change as you level through them. So at one level you may need to just destroy like 8 shields to complete the mission and later on as you are a higher level that mission will require you to destroy all 10 shields. Also some of the primary and bonus objectives might change entirely. It all depends on the level you are when you are doing them. This basically is only noticed on the original missions as the Hard Mode Missions mainly show up when you are Level 50. So all those should be OK.

Also I noticed that you did not list any of the Credit Rewards. Each Mission and Bonus Objective gives a specific amount of credits as a reward.

The Legacy XP is also specific for each Mission. Being that I am Level 50 when I started taking my notes it is all that I was able to keep track of. I do not get anymore regular XP, at least until they increase the Level Cap.

You also left out the Fleet Comms for each Regular Mission.

I can go ahead and list what I noticed for my Level 50 alt. It will take a little time to type up though so give me a bit.

Remember that this information is all from my Level Republic 50 Alt. It is just a breakdown of what I got and I did not list some of the Comms that you already listed for the Weekly Missions.

Edit Update:

I updated most of my missing info that had ???

Also in Thanium Disruption and Regnant Station I think that "Destroy Enemy Fighters" is actually called "No Pilot Stands a Chance" in the Combat Log. I think this because I completed the missions in the game but do not seem them listed that way in the combat log. It is something like destroying 60 to 80 fighters depending on the mission. I made a note in () on those ones.

Thanks WarbNull. I should have some time next week to include that info and I'll get the same info on the missions you haven't covered since I have alts on both sides that I do space missions on. The missions for rep and imp all mirror each other so as far as rewards go that's nice and easy.

I wanted to point out that Patch 1.7.2 added new rewards

Indeed... I see on the patch notes :

"Additional rewards have also been added to some Space Missions, including Space Experience Boosts and Weekly Access Passes (useful for Free-to-Play and Preferred Players)."

Anyone knows which missions have the boosts and which have the weekly access pass ?

Thanks  !

Bumping that, because despite running most (admittedly, not all) both repeatable and introductory missions, I'm yet to see single new reward.

This ls pretty great stuff, though I knew most of it already :p. One minor correction though, capital ship bridges and the comm relay on space stations CAN be destroyed without proton torpedoes, it takes a crapton of missiles however. If you find you have spent all your torpedoes, especially on the heroic space missions where it takes two to destroy a bridge, you can use missiles to attempt to destroy it. It takes a lot less time to do this if you've already fired a torpedo at at it.

Excellent guide OP. Thanks. This will get my space missions kick started again.

The only thing I would add as a criticism is your clashing font and background colors make things hard to read sometimes. Just a friendly suggestion on what you might change to help your viewers.

Nevertheless, thanks. You page has been bookmarked.

Not to detract from your efforts but 1 thing I must point out..

http://oneil.com.au/nefash/tips.html - Use direction keys.

You may wish to note that portion of your guide only applies if you use the default keymappings, as remapping the keys will result in the loss of ability to control your ship from the keyboard.

This is true, but I would advise re-mapping the keys just for the space missions. I have to do it, too, but it's entirely worth it and only takes a few seconds. The additional mobility makes up for the inconvenience.

Nice guide! I haven't really been struggling with the space missions, but I'm sure it will help people who do.

Today I got a weekly pass !!!

This was on a toon i didn't do many space missions with and directly outfitted with grade 7 at 50.

Thus today with the "breaking" of the blast condensers I needed to get the rendili hyperworks thingie and so I did the Aeten defense mission to get it, and at the end I also got the weekly pass. I don't think it's a random drop. It probably comes with the missions you do the first time and that have special rewards.

And am meaning it : "first time mission", wasn't a daily.

Note : it's BOP.

Hey it's been a while since we pilots didn't talk shop about space combat :jawa_wink: !

So since I've been chasing the codex entries, I'm still only at 13/14, the thing is, there is this mysterious tidbit from William "rocket boots" Wallace in the recent achievement blog that had me extremely excited :

Something Doesn’t Add Up!

Players on our Public Test Server (PTS) have noticed that the point totals for each Achievement category don’t necessarily match up with the visible point totals for all Achievements within those categories. You are quite correct! The numbers do not always add up. Maybe there’s something hidden waiting to be discovered…

So since you weren't sure about the names of some of those bonuses that yield Codex entries, I checket them all, and here are the 13/14 I have so far :

Ardis/Kabal :

  • Annihilate the enemy : 50 fighters
  • No pilot stands a chance : 3 Sith/Jedi ships

Baros/Duma :

  • Cripple the enemy : 12 bombers
  • Annihilate the enemy : 60 fighters

Hypori/Lorrta :

  • Annihilate the enemy : 70 fighters
  • Eliminate the enemy : 4 frigates

New Cov/Kanz :

  • Annihilate the enemy : 80 fighters
  • Eliminate the enemy : 2 frigates (codex is bugged there : no image)
  • No pilot stands a chance : 1 Sith/Jedi ship

Regnant/Far Craddle :

  • Annihilate the enemy : 40 fighters
  • Eliminate the enemy : 4 frigates
  • No pilot stands a chance : 1 Sith/Jedi ship

Thanium/Cha Rabaa :

  • No pilot stands a chance : 4 mercenary ships

For Thanium/Cha Rabaa, I have tried killing the tender ship at the entrance of the minefield, right before the first pass on the frigate and I think I killed it but not 100% sure. Didn't get a Codex, either because well I didn't kill it after all, or because there is no codex entry for it...

I've also tried Capital ship Shield points with Proton torpedoes, nothing...

Maybe need to kill a whole capital ship along with all turrets, shields and bridge ?

Where's this 14th space codex entry... Hmmmm...

hey thanks for this. It's amazing how many people give up before getting their invulnerability shield. Got to love the loads of xp you get, for doing nothing more than a couple minutes in a quest. just bucketfuls full of xp :)
