Arlbo_Nabbins Posted January 21, 2013 Share Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) I would like a response as well, for some reason I just can't believe they are going to add a lime green/green crystal in and not fix what we've been asking for since beta. Why would they change the colour of a crystal after over a year when most players have never seen the beta version.? Doing so would cause complaints from those who like and use the current green crystals. For the people who actually care which green it is they can get the new crystals. Why should real green crystals be added in them ? I mean, it is the color green lightsabers should have been since the beginning as it states it is a green crystal and not a lime. Lime is an exotic color for a lightsaber. I see no reason why an exotic one should remain as easy to obtain as a basic color and craftable for Artificers for all levels with all possible stats, while a basic one should be only avaliable from a shop like it were an exotic one. Actually, this happened to me the other day when I was working on the very same mission. Strangely enough, I didn't have a green crystal in my light saber. The core is not the bright white and the blue "glow" is dark enough to enhance the core,not overpower it. It seems to me that the current base color crystals are too "white" with respect to the core. What looks good in the movies http://www.washingtonpost.com/rf/image_606w/2010-2019/WashingtonPost/2012/05/02/Style/Images/swbm39.jpg does not seem to translate well into the game graphics. While I used to like the black core crystals back when I first saw them, they just look wrong now. I think there should be more light shade/dark shade color crystals (and retire the black core ones). In my opinion, the orange looks more golden, like it has a yellowish core like the current green, so it doesn't actually look orange.
