Can Someone prove Rakata Relics can be crit crafted since 1.2?

EDIT: A warning to any player hoping to craft a relic with an augment slot. DONT! ITs broken, no matter what the CSRs tell you. At this stage the best course of action is to bug report the relics not critting and wait for an official yellow named to acknowledge it or see the patch notes.

 

Based off of this thread's numbers. Rakata Relics and a critical craft has either had a ninja nerf, or is broken. I can relate to that thread as well. I've crafted 30 Relics myself with no critical's. I know pre 1.2 it took upwards of 20 relics to get a crit on average.

 

Apparently CSR says that a critical craft still work. Well I'm asking for proof. I've yet to see a relic with an augment slot that was made POST 1.2. So anyone, someone, everyone please for the love of god prove or disprove the critical craft on Rakata Relics.

 

If this is indeed broken I think I'm going to cry. Such a rare resource used in the recipe all for naught. That would kill my inner crafter.

I'm taking this one further. If someone can provide a screenshot of a critical crafted augment post 1.2 I will give you 1,000,000 credits on the Mind Trick Server.

 

I'm starting to believe that this is bugged without a doubt.

Rakata relics are supposed to be craftable with an augment slot. I have seen them but only crafted before 1.2

 

Rakata belt and braces are supposed to be craftable with an aument slot. I have braces with a slot that I crafted before 1.2. I made dozens of attempts at a belt, none critted.

 

File a bug report. I did and after trying to tell me it was "working as intended", it has now been forwarded to the developers. Still won't refund my wasted mats though. I will try to get them to refund again once they confirm the bug.

I cant "prove" it since I made them in April, but I made both my Rakata Relics the weekend after the Thursday of 1.2 launch. It took me 3 tries to get my crit Relic and 18 tries to get my power relic, I went Artifice for the specific reason of crafting the relics then went back to Biochem. Edited by Amalak

Still waiting on any proof. Think its obvious we got a bug on our hands, developers. Kind of shocked with all the metric tools the developers carry that they wouldn't have picked up on this bug sooner.

My guildy is artifice, and had one of those relics with an aug slot equiped

 

Before the 1.2 Patch, people were able to critical craft relics and get an augment slot. Since 1.2, not a single person has seen a critical craft or an augmented craft for relics.

 

CSR's have told players its "working as intended". An acknowledgment that this is a bug is necessary. Players shouldn't be lead on to try and craft one of these due to the huge resource cost. It's just not fair.

You think you've wasted a lot of materials?? Try crafting a Campaign Relic... I have made over 20 of them so far, and none have succeeded with a critical success...

 

If this is indeed bugged or there was a change to the ability to crit craft on relics, there needs to be some response... heck, even if they are "working as intended" a Dev / CSR response to this thread would be appreciated to clear up any confusion.

yes rakata relics can be crit crafted with an augment slot. i made one myself, it has +2 end more than a black hole relic and 18 str/pow more if you augment it, of course the temp on use buff is better with black hole relics.

And the crafted crit campaign relics (there are no black hole relics so I assume that's what you meant) have more stats than a crit rakata one.

Can you tell us if this was crafted after 1.2 patch. We know they were fine pre patch.

I'm starting to think they misplaced a decimal point, like 10% to 0.10%.... Leaving only companion affection effecting the chance of an augment. Its really annoying. I want to go back biochem as soon as possible, but I want the augmented relics to get that extra edge as a tank in HM EC.

I only went back to my republic trooper and went dps after the 1.2 patch so this was crafted post patch by me, this probably has an obscenely low chance.

 

Ahhh,, I just checked you picture... thats a Rakata wrist. We're discussing Rakata Relics. I crafted both wrist/waist Rakata peices last week, so I know they are working.

 

But no confirmation on the Relics being augmented since patch 1.2

Gotta keep players informed. Wouldn't want people to waste their Biometeric Crystal Alloys like all of us poor saps.

 

The amount of money I could have made selling those things instead of using them....I would be 4 million richer right now :mad:

I posted a bug report about the inability to critically craft Campaign Relics and I got response that said "Consulted with our specialist team and what you reported is not a bug and is in fact, working as designed."

 

Response felt really automated but assuming that it was a correct response, the inability to critically craft Campaign Relics is intentional and not a bug lol, gah it has sucked to be artifice since release.

Are you sure they meant that you can't crit them is working as designed, or that you can crit them and that you've just failed? We're not using any guild mats to try and crit craft relics until we know for sure whether or not they can crit.

I mentioned this a couple of times in the original thread. That is a standard reply to anyone that submits a bug reporting regarding any and all critical crafting.

My friend says that the odds are off on augmenting relics, he thinks that rather than a 1/5 chance it's a 1/500 chance right now. How the heck does a bug like that even happen?

 

That would be like Soa having 15 Million health rather than 1.5 million health.

 

Has anyone been able to augment Rakata Relics since 1.2? (I've given up on Campaign relics).
