So once you've got 8/9, try clearing the bosses again. I got it after killing the Bantha.

 

It might be that codex entry is given to everyone taking part in fight, but check if you killed all of them(and thus should get 9th entry) is performed only for player that delt killing blow. So I would suggest farming Trapjaw with friend or two to check if it helps.

I was just told by a GM in a conversation in game that there is nothing they can do and we have to wait for a patch to correct the issue.

 

So tough ******* to us I guess.

 

They won't fix anything, just mess up more crap.

I did not read the whole thread, so someone may have done this already but:

 

I got all 5 pandemic codexes, and all 3 world boss entries, and received no title, so I ticketed it.

 

Within the response from BW CS was the following text, which I received very quickly, so I imagine a ton of people have been reporting it:

 

"I am Protocol Droid G0-Z2 of Human-Cyborg Relations.

 

Thank you for contacting us regarding the issue not receiving the codex title "Containment Officer" for completing the new Rakgoul Pandemic Event on Tattione.

 

I do understand that the title is not being provided after successfully defeating all three event world bosses. Your report has been forwarded to our development team, who will investigate further. We regret that we will be unable to provide you with further updates on this issue, but recommend checking the latest patch notes at http://www.swtor.com/patchnotes for information on any fixes or changes related to this issue.

You know, you'd expect a post by one of the community reps or devs in regards to this issue.

 

I have a feeling once the event is over with, no patch will grant us the last codex entry or title. So this was all a waste of time on my part. But thanks for the incomplete content once again.

Sounds to me like they will probably put out a hot fix for this.

 

 

Haha, calling this a reply is very generous. Just some bot going through the sophisticated key word based ctrl-c ctrl-v chains. 20e says no human eyes never read your ticket.

Could it possibly be related to the sequence with which players completed the codex entries?

 

For me I killed Urtagh first,

Then did codexes 1-4,

Rekilled Urtagh,

Killed Zama Brak,

Did codex 5,

Killed Trapjaw,

Lastly completed Plaguebearer.

 

I'm also stuck at 8/9. For those that actually got 9/9, what was your sequence?

I don't think having us kill them again is a sufficient solution to this problem. Just give us the final codex entry and title if we have the other 8 entries. One round with the event bosses was enough and I'm stunned I was able to do it once considering the Rep population on my server.

The Bantha was the cause of this. You need to kill that boss last. If you did it in any other order, you will need to go back and kill him again.

 

We did him last on sunday. Only 1 person in our op got the title.

Biowares QA team sucks total ***.

 

I took time way from real life yet again to try and get this title I killed all 3 bosses again just now and still got *********** squat from it. If this isn't fixed before the end of this event and I miss the codex entry due to QA Incompetence I will rage quit and you won't get my monthly sub. I'm about fed up with the damn bugs in this game and you keep releasing things that bug even more of the game. Hell most of the codex entries don't work now and this is an even codex which should have been tested thoroughly.
