PostalTwinkie
If that's the "old days"...... ..... You just made me feel... older than old? Hell, I still have a computer with 1mb ram and a 20mb hd. I know! I read that and was thought "What the hell does it make me than?!"

ishootlasers
Today's "small patch" is 200 megs! Let me pull out my walking cane and corn cob pipe for moment... I remember the good old days when your entire hard disk was 75 megs and 4 megs of memory was considered "good." Who else thinks 200 megs is not a "small" patch? 200mb is pretty small... What archaic piece of technology are you using? It's 2012, upgrade your ****. Buy a better connection. Too broke? Learn your **** and get a better job. Quit complaining about 200 megabytes. Seriously. Times have changed. Deal with it. Edited April 14, 2012 by ishootlasers
Aelannor
I don't think it is a small patch, but the only ISP in my area offers 200-300 kb/s download speed as the best they can do.
AndasKastor
Apple II (not II+), 16k RAM. No floppy... floppy drives cost $350 and up. Computer was state of the art 1979 and $1500. I took out a loan. I had a tape recorder that if I set just right would transfer data. LOL
Xyeth
I don't think it is a small patch, but the only ISP in my area offers 200-300 kb/s download speed as the best they can do. I don't think it's small either. I was fully patched and had played last night only to sit down tonight and the launcher starts downloading a 111 meg patch before the 200 meg patch hit. I can only get a download speed of around 55 kb/s as there are no other ISP's in the area that come out to where I am. I'm an hour and a half into patching with still 158 megs to go.
