Today's "small patch" is 200 megs! Let me pull out my walking cane and corn cob pipe for moment... I remember the good old days when your entire hard disk was 75 megs and 4 megs of memory was considered "good." Who else thinks 200 megs is not a "small" patch?

So we received our answer, it appears in 1.2 the next tear is called "Black Hole." Can anyone argue that there is a force more powerful than black holes in the universe? I fear this will give the developers a tough time naming future tiers. So now we can begin guessing what the tier after black hole will be called. Super massive black hole gear?

I totally agree with the OP. Our guild has cleared NMM KP and EV and, without a doubt, given the choice we always take a ranged dps over melee for the reasons outlined in this thread. One solution I heard was to scale ranged dps in terms of distance. I would tend to favor a slight dps advantage to melee due to all the running around and mechanics they must avoid. Of course, that may imbalance PVP, like I give a rip about that.

I am certain they have an army of GM's waiting round the clock for me to login to watch my every move. That would be a great use of their resources. In Yodaspeak, "much they would learn." Getting back to reality for a moment, it would be very simple for their analysts to query their NPC's to find the level 50s with the shortest respawn rate and figure out which ones may/may not have economic imbalance. What I find to be a great way to earn credits may be working as intended.

So I won't say exactly where, but I have found certain level 50 mobs that respawn very fast relative to others. To boot, they are in a location where a chest spawns. So I grind these mobs and get more than 1k credits per minute just in credit drops. The loot is the real icing and makes this very very profitable. The only barrier is how utterly boring and monotonous this becomes. I have a feeling the repsawn rate on these mobs is a mistake and it is only a matter of time before the devs adjust it.

Ok I should have been more clear. We are the only species supposed to be wearing them.

Of course we don't, but we're the only species wearing them. If we had other clothes-wearing species I am sure we would have names for it. We do already have baby-clothes and maternity clothes, which are subcategories of "human gear."

Ok point taken, I do not see side slots for eyeballs on my helm, therefore these were clearly not designed for use by actual Rakata. Now knowing this, what is gear actually used by the Rakata called? I guess it doesn't really matter as it would not be designed for use by us regular humanioids, but it makes for interesting speculation.

Thanks, I actually do have vague memories of Builders, not sure if it was from the KOTOR games or inside SWTOR. I also don't remember a reason they would be considered more powerful than Rakata. I will have to reasarch!

What will the next tier be and how could it be considered more powerful? From what I understand the Rakata empire was the most powerful in all history and their artifacts represent the pinnacle of galactic technology. Am I wrong?

I was able to get the cron on corellia by having a skinny sage go to the top level and pull me up with rescue. This same friendly sage helped me on corellia. Basically you have to jump off the ledge and have them pull you under the grates where the cron is.
