Unfortunately I think the point for this offer was to get people to follow or pay attention to their twitter account. Although I do agree that if they don't let us know that it is happening it is hard to get the attention they want.

See, now this is a question they cannot answer. They have no information on bug fixes other than (perhaps) "We know a bug exists and it will (hopefully) be fixed in a future update." I suppose you can consider their response poor customer service, but I doubt if you would like a reply of "We have no clue of the priority of this bug or where it falls on the bug list" All they can do is log the bug and the developers will rank the priority. Hopefully they get down to it some year.

Full disclosure: my wife and I only play together on the weekends before lunch. When I play during the rest of the week it is all solo. We'll play probably 8 hours between Sat. and Sun. and I'll probably play 6 - 8 hours solo during the rest of the week. I like your differentiation on casual and I agree that people can be more skilled at the game than others. There are some specs that I just can't seem to get and I am probably awful at them

Gosh, I never realized I was an elite player. Since a couple of months before 6.0 was released I have been playing on the English European server (I am in the Midwest USA). This is a new server so I didn't have an existing legacy. I have 2 characters that have completed Chapter 1 and another that is almost done with Chapter 1. I also have a level 75 character on the east coast US server that I play with my wife. Currently we are on Rishi as we play through the game in order. We never have companions out - our biggest annoyance is dismissing them after every cut scene. I have not really noticed much of a difference with companions since 6.0 dropped, but I never use them for healing. I find that DPS and tank works better depending on the character I am running. The game is still very easy although it was challenging doing the Alderon heroics starting at level 28 with a stealth operative (mob level was 33). I didn't think there could be a more casual player than I, but from reading this entire thread I am obviously wrong.

I can only speak to my wife and I. I doubt if we fall into the 'most' players category on anything Our current characters are level 73 and I have 3.6 million (after buying the increase for treasure hunting) and she has about 2.5 million (after buying the increase for slicing). We probably have 1 - 2 million each on our other characters (different server). But you know what? It doesn't matter. Neither one of us has bought or sold anything on the market because we don't need anything I don't see us changing our playstyle.

I looked on the first couple of pages, but didn't see anything. Is the HK bonus chapter purchase on the Cartel Market for the account or just for that character? I hardly ever buy from the CM so if there is a secret color code or something that is supposed to tell me - I am clueless Thanks for any help.

I play with my wife on the weekends when we don't have the grandkids. Latest has been story and main planet story only. We hit 70 on the planet before Corelia. Eventually we will get to the newest content. It will be interesting to see how it plays out in KOTFE since I hear that many of the chapters are solo...

Definitely not shady as (as far as I can tell) they haven't tried to hide anything. It definitely won't affect my play style. I don't buy or sell on the GTN. If I can't get it in game I don't get it

Sorry, but you do not want me to play on the test server. I am a lousy tester, my feedback sucks, and I'd much rather play the game after it is released. Just keeping it real

Thank you. I knew that the crew skill was a permanent loss (reset). I don't anticipate a lot of respecs. I am plugging this character into my static group. My wife has a healer and I am going from DPS to tank so that we can work our way through flashpoints on harder settings.

Yes, that is what confused me about the discipline change. I did find the person on fleet. This was a republic character and he was on the far left room in the combat trainer area. Note that he does not show up on the mini map.

Hello, I've been playing again off and on for a couple of months and I have a couple of questions. 1. I decided I would like to switch a crew skill. It says that I have to unlearn a current crew skill to pick up the one I want. How do I unlearn a crew skill? I couldn't find a vendor or anything on the fleet that would let me do that. 2. I decided that I would change disciplines on my Jedi Guardian (from DPS to tank). It says that I have to see my trainer. However when I see the trainer (on fleet) it still does not let me abandon my current discipline. Can someone tell me how to do these things - or point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Don't worry, there is only 1 fight per expansion that is this hard. Remember that this is all happening in your head - an argument could be made that you are simply putting a Vaylin skin on your fight with Valkorian - especially with your comment "my head, my rules" later,

I would not doubt this at all. As I mentioned a couple of times previously I never had to worry about a fight prior to chapter 16 of KotFE and chapter 9 of KotET. I am sure that by the next hard fight I'll have to relearn it again, lol.

Yep! That is the way I did it. I don't think I shot her more than once - I just kited her to the circles and concentrated on my defensive stuff. I was concentrating so much on the defensive and staying alive that I was actually surprised when the fight was over I'm glad you could get it done!

What makes more sense, though? That Disney would let EA use anything Star Wars in any game they might conceive or that they would require approval for things? Remember - Disney has used cease and desist orders on day care centers to remove unlicensed murals of their IP... I know which way I lean

Yeah, I had all of my combat proficiencies in dps oriented abilities. There are quite a few that help with defense - especially with hunker down (which I almost never used before this fight). Once I set it up for survivability the damage I took was much less - although I did have to use one or two of the memories of healing for me.

For me paying attention is looking at everything - when you try to damage her outside of her circle the damage number is a different color and my hits went down. The green circles moved and were called memories of healing so I figured that they would heal me. I admit it was a surprise when I discovered inadvertently that they damaged her. After my first or second death I looked at her buff icons, etc. Prior to this fight I just didn't pay that much attention to the combat. Sweeping gunfire a couple of times while my tank companion killed everything. I did die a couple of times to sloppiness (pulling too many groups - that sort of thing). The Vaylin fight was tough and frustrating, but there was a corresponding satisfaction when I did beat her. I wish more boss fights were interesting, but maybe not too interesting

I believe the HK mission is an alliance alert and isn't from the mission terminal. I don't remember the specifics for getting him. I did get him, but I don't get the helmet or jet pack as I ended my subscription after getting HK and before the other rewards kicked in.
