Vraelan
I say "The Old Republic". I think "swo-tor". But I want to use this... Same here

JakeLightbearer
Technically, "w" can be a vowel (from Welsh), as in the word "cwm" (a rounded hanging valley), which makes an "oo" sound (like in "boom"). Thus, "SWTOR" could be pronounced "sooter" (rhymes with booter). I usually just call it "TOR" or "Old Republic," though.
Maesyn
Most of the time I just refer to it as TOR, like tour.

PaxFelix
TOR is a publishing house for sci-fi/fantasy books. The publisher of one of the greatest literary series of all time imo. As well as a few titles in the Occult genre that are, well, entertaining? Edited December 13, 2011 by PaxFelix
Zerixkun
Either just TOR or I say full out Star Wars The Old Republic, or sometimes I'll just say Old Republic.

slayerrr
Swo-Tor as well even though i cringe a bit when i say it like that as S-W-Tor is the correct way from the spelling... Swo-Tor just comes out easier.
Hithias
I personally pronounce it like these two words: "swore tore".
TekaruPrime
This most correct, since SWTOR isn't an acronym, it is a initialisim, as such it can't be pronounced. some examples of Acronyms: NATO, LASER, RADAR, SONAR etc. some examples of Initialisims: FBI, CIA, USA, and SWTOR I hadn't thought of it that way. thanks! what would make it an acronym, dropping "the" so it's just S.W.O.R. or swor? I liked KNIGHTS of the Old Republic because that gave us the Acronym KOTOR. which I pronounced "ko-tor" like a word. Warhammer Online was clever in using that subtitle "Age of Reckoning" so they were able to abbreviate it: W arhammer: A ge of R eckoning or WAR for short. Paverti
When I'm not calling the game TOR, I'm partial to Sweater. It has a nice ring to it. "It's the sleeves what does it!" Edited December 14, 2011 by Paverti
Strumpan_SWE
(Stupid question of the day, I know.) "sow-tor" "swa-tor" "sue-tor" "swi-tor" or "star-wars-the-old-republic"? non of it... I just say tor.

mrsatov
Star Wars mostly. But in reading this post, I like the Swedish way and might start using that. XD My friend and I use sw-tOR when making fun of the problem of pronouncing it.

altaboy
I usually just say "Star Wars". Most of my friends don't know what SWTOR is. And the ones that do know that "Star Wars" = SWTOR

Seireeni
I usually call it "Tor" because it's faster than T.O.R. If I have to call it SWTOR, I'd call it "es vee tor" (though I'd pronounce it in a finnish way, so it would be more like "äs vee tor").
AlrikFassbauer
I use "S.W.Tor", without the points. "Tor" as a spoken word, "S" and "W" like letters, like in abbreviations. Edited November 22, 2013 by AlrikFassbauer
