  1. Wow it works! Just went from 15ish fps to 25ish fps on the Fleet with 200+ people. I added only the suggested most-used assets to the ramdisk: DiskCacheArena Local cache swtor_main_art_fx.tor swtor_main_art_dynamic_cape_1 swtor_main_art_dynamic_chest_1 swtor_main_art_dynamic_chest_tight_1 swtor_main_art_dynamic_hand_1 swtor_main_art_dynamic_head_1 swtor_main_art_dynamic_lower_1 swtor_main_art_dynamic_mags_1 swtor_main_art_weapon_1.tor I wouldn't try this with less than 8gb of ram though. My specs (nothing too fancy at all) with all graphics settings on highest at 1920x1080 (went from 15fps-25fps): Core2 Q9400 2.66GHz 8GB DDR2 GTX 560 7,600 rpm HDD
  2. Seriously! The nerve of BW! I remember back in my day, it seems like just last week, how we not only had to hunt down FP groups in chat, then make your own way to the FP entrance, THEN make your way back to wherever you were previously after all that. Now they still won't automatically take you back to where you were when the FP queue popped. Damned inconsiderate for overlooking that detail! In all seriousness it would be nice, but hey at least we've got an LFG tool now. Maybe for 1.4.
  3. :EDIT: Nevermind, misread the question, thought you meant an OH with the same model as the MH.
  4. Got all those pieces stashed away for augmenting in 1.3. Good look!
  5. Agreed. Pop Zen a split second before you add your 3rd stack of OS.
  6. Kashyyyk and Yavin 4 (not a planet I know, but neither is Nar Shaddaa) How cool would the Wookiee forest villages and the Massassi temples be to see in-game?!
  7. Force Cloak also provides a 30% boost for its duration, extendable through talents in the Watchman tree.
  8. Yup, very handy. I do this too. In PvE, if it's a group of weak mobs, I might hit one of them once or twice, pop zen, and move on to the next mob, knowing that the burn crits will finish off that first mob. If it's up at the beginning of fighting a strong mob (silver), I'll pop Zen. It will help burn down that strong pretty quick. If I know there's a champ coming up, I'll save it for that.

  10. This man speaks the truth, and it's not just a preference...
  11. 1. Doc 2. Kira Carsen 3. Mako 3. Lord Scourge 4. Kem Val 5. Vette 6. T7 7. Qyzen 8. Sgt. Rusk These are the one's I've encountered so far, only high level char is a Sent.
  12. Thread in the Sent forums on this very topic: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=242364
  13. Subscribing. Would like to know as well.
  14. I think this would be a great idea to cut down on one of the biggest annoyances in the game: Loading Screens! When boarding your ship and clicking the exterior door, have an option to choose between entering your ship, or skipping directly to the Galaxy Map. The purpose for entering your ship would be to access your cargo hold, fly space missions, talk to companions, or use any of the Legacy features. The purpose of directly pulling up the Galaxy map would be to cut loading times in half. As it stands right now, going from planet to planet, doing dailies and such, brings up 2 load screens. One for your ship, and a second when arriving at your destination planet. If the Galaxy Map can be accessed without needing to enter your ship first, you'd only have to go through one loading screen. Thoughts?
  15. Turn off all of Doc's offensive abilities, so the only option he'll have is to heal.
  16. Apparently I'm the new Sandy Koufax Sorry Traxous, I was wrong! Happy to be wrong though, makes getting that title easier!
  17. Are you remembering to brush and floss on a regular basis? That may help
  18. Why can't we preview weapon models?
  19. Try leveling up a bit more, or make sure you're not still clad entirely in greens from 10 levels ago. Is Doc's gear up to par? Is Doc completely equipped? I had to go buy implants and an earpiece for him as I never came across any while questing. Use your interrupts, defense CDs, aggro any adds on Doc. The less time he spends healing himself, the more time he will spend healing you. Don't forget your heroic moment reset the CD on your shield, so use your shield, and after it runs out, use your heroic moment. Stims might help too.
  20. [EDIT} Ha, nevermind. Glad to be wrong.
  21. These two things do not always go together. If you're lobbying for "casuals" to be able to more easily obtain "very rare stuff," then what should the people who play more than 2hrs/wk work towards? "Super duper very rare stuff?" I play roughly 10 hrs/wk, and that's including the weekends. Others may disagree with me, but I don't consider that very "hardcore," yet I was able to unlock all the containment officer gear rewards with time to spare.
  22. At least for PVE, Strength will always trump an equal amount of another stat.
  23. Love your site. I've actually used it previously by finding it through Google. Love how you can sort the loot by class. Hope to see Lost Island NM table up soon!
  24. If 2k is THAT much of a burden for you, i'll loan it to you!
