You might be out of luck as a Smuggler.

I feel your pain. I really do. I had the Hammer Precision Holdout drop for my BH in Hammer Station. I liked it so much that I ran Hammer Station 4 more times to get a second one. I would love to have the same model on my Smuggler, but, as far as I tell, the only moddable version of this pistol is this one and it only drops in Hammer Station for Imperial groups. There is no Republic acquireable version of this blaster.

 

Depends on whether or not it a) has class requirements and b) is BoP or BoE.

 

If it were BoE and had no class requirement, you should be able to shuttle one across via the Nar Shaddaa market (with some very careful maneuvering and you'd need to price it ridiculously high so nobody else grabbed it.)

 

I have to say that yest, that's an awesome looking gun.

Anyone know where the Tral-Tech Sonic Blaster can be had? If I can't have the gun I really want, I may as well try to get two I can live with. :) There seems to be a bit of a shortage as far as stainless or silver weapons are concerned in general, or am I just imagining things?

The first one, http://swtor.wikia.com/wiki/File:Gunslinger.png, is easy. That is the model used on the Coil-Cell Needler that you get for choosing the Gunslinger Advanced Class. It is also used by the E-20 Sonic Saboteur that is a random drop. The easiest way for a Gunslinger to get a matching pair of guns with this model is to run the [Heroic 4] Enemies of the Republic on Coruscant twice and get 2 x Repeating Blasters. (I am currently using 2 x Repeating Blasters on my Gunslinger and can confirm that you can get them from [Heroic 4] Enemies of the Republic on Coruscant.)

I've never seen it ingame. Looking around on the Internet I found the following weapons that based on their icons could be these blaster pistols: Colicoid Galactic Blaster and N-305 Huntsman Needler. The first one looks to be a random drop and the second one looks to be a quest reward. Unfortunately, there are no screenshots or drop information for either one.

Another route for matching models but different color schemes is to do the Tatooine Bonus series for the Rancor and then hitting up the special items vendor for the M-300 Elite Stealth Interceptor.

 

Same gun, different coloring. Looks decent when paired up. A far cry from the two gigantic silvered slabs of metal I'd like, but will do for now.

In case anyone is wondering (since the first page doesn't state it) - the Tral-Tech Sonic Blaster and the Tral-Tech Needler are both apparently a drop from the Taral V flashpoint.

 

Now if you'll excuse me... if anyone needs me, I'll be doing Taral V. :D

I'd pay 150k in credits for a D-200 without a stupid magazine...but only 75k for a d-200...especially after a failed farming on my bh only to get 150k and had to buy the two d-200's for him. I don't want to think about what its going to take for me to get it on my scoundrel.

On the server I'm on, there was one D-200 for sale for 2.5k, so I grabbed it because it was an orange gun. The next day there was another for 3.5k, which I also grabbed.

 

They're still in my cargo bay, non-bound, as I picked up two M-305 Rancor-X Enforcers on Balmorra and am enjoying those for now... I'd sell but I doubt if you're on the same European server I am.

Really like your thread, they should sticky this for sure. I was wondering, is the gears that you listed restricted to Repbulic only. I was wondering because I play a Bounty Hunter for the Empire and was looking around for customization ideas for Mako?

Not my thread but I'll answer anyway; gear looks different between the factions, so you can't assume that anything a Smuggler wears will look the same on the Imperial side as far as I know.

 

This is true only for armor. It does not apply to weapons.

 

For example the weapons that drop in the 1st Flashpoint (Esseles/Black Talon) and that can be bought with commendations don't change depending on which faction buys which weapon. The same is true for commendation weapons that you can buy on the various planets.

Torhead just added a 3D model viewer to their weapons section. We can finally preview weapons! :D

 

Just navigate to http:\\http://www.torhead.com, search for a weapon and to the right of the weapon's name you should see a "View in 3D" link.

So, I saw the above in the 1.2 Patch notes. Anyone been on the PTS and figured out if we are getting new Blaster Pistols? Maybe a A-300 look alike ;), or a main-hand version of this?

Just saw this:

Most of the new schematics are not actual schematic items - they're reverse engineering discoveries.

in another thread.

 

So I guess it will be awhile before we have any concrete information...

I never said all the info was correct, just going by what is posted here and what I've found. :D Mostly depend on you all to give me the correct info unless it is a blaster I've found myself. ;)
