Conundrum-NSA
here is some marketing wisdom. Dissatisfied customers are an interesting group. For every one that complains there are at least 25 who do not.Dissatisfied customers by word of mouth will tell eight to sixteen othersabout their dissatisfaction. With the web some are now telling thousands.91% of dissatisfied customers never purchase goods or services from thecompany again. A prompt effort to resolve a dissatisfied customer's issue will result inabout 85% of them as repeat customers Depending upon the business, new customer sales may cost 4 to 100 timesthat of a sale to an existing customer. This goes for satisfied customers too, word of mouth and everything. So what was the point of this thread?

Conundrum-NSA
I would hazard a guess and say by their very nature the number of people MMO players tell if they are unhappy possibly several orders of magnitude larger than buying a normal physical product. Saice
Yep 25 for every 1.... So if we look at the forums that is about less then 1% of the 1.5 million copies sold? Not bad numbers if you ask me.
iota-dhegon
most of you who leave over nothing have never really played an MMO before, especially at launch.. This was one of the more succesful launches of an MMO.. infaact it's a great game, people will moan for just about anything it seems.
Conundrum-NSA
This goes for satisfied customers too, word of mouth and everything. So what was the point of this thread? Actually its not the same... "Studies show that a satisfied customer will tell 2-3 people about his experience with your company. A dissatisfied consumer will share their lament with 8-10 people and some will push that number to twenty." once again, that only assume personal communication, not the internet. Rayaleith
They should have kept making only the very good single player games they always did. Teh decided to enter the mmo arena and that will hurt if they do not deny their single player mindset. Diablo is coming!
