  4. My ideas for open PVP system We need a system where big guilds can make citys, small guilds can roam and cause mayhem even if they lack the numbers. There should be someting other to fight about then gear, pride! My plan would be too take Ilium and allow guilds from the same side too make alliances with a cap on numbers. This would make zerging impossible. These alliances would then fight each other. Even if they are on the "same" side. This is a must for unbalanced servers. When an alliance is created, they can build bases that allows a guild to create harvesters that extracts credits or crafting material for smaller stuff like potions and mods. Nothting too big, because we dont want it to make a big impact in PVP balance. These buildings can of course be destroyed. Coming too that now... The PVP on Ilium would be divided in two phases. 1) The "Caese fire phase": Guild cities and buildings can not be attacked. But you can attack other players, recognize enemy activity/bases and collect recourses for your buildings. This would make the planet active most of the time and allowing people too contribute too your guild whenever they have time. 2) The "War phase": Every day on an exact hour the "War phase" begins for about two hours on prime time. This allows for attacks on enemy bases and cities, but be aware your base could also be attacked, so stay on alert! This is where pride comes too play! Mercenary alliances Some mercenary alliances may even run without bases, they would rely completely on the "bounty system". Where guilds can put bountys on players, cities or single buildings of the enemy alliances. I could go on forever but this pretty much scratches the surface for what I believe is good world PVP that is, balanced, competivite and fun! Sorry for any bad grammar, english is not my native language.

  10. Nice story.. BUT.... I'm a father myself, my oldest boy is turning 6 soon. We are both fans but I still don't let him see the movies. We have watched season 1 of clone wars though. But isn't it alittle to early to watch the movies at age 5? It's not just the violence, but the politics etc.. Or is it just me...?

  13. I really feels like the PVP missions terminals should be on every planet. I understand that you want people too gather on the fleets, but all traveling for us with limited game time is abit frustrating. Myself for example, I like too both explore and do PVP. I open up every game session with going back to the fleet and getting the daily pvp quest, que up and start to travel back to the planet I was on. After a few rounds I want to do someting else and starts to do quests, explore or hunt datacrons. All traveling really gets boring after a while... The next day it´s the same thing, Im loosing immersion because of this rubber-banding back and forth to the Republic fleet. Shouldn't it be better if you just allowed us to take and complete the PVP missions on every planets main base? This could also make some planets more alive. I know I could just neglect the PVP dailys, but since I like the whole aspect of the game and are of a competitive nature, I rather not. Thanks for reading!

  15. Having your 7 year old son playing MMO/SWTOR is just wrong. Im a parent myself, and shocked. Funny though like someone pointed out. That it took a number of posts before someone even commented on the age. Nothing suprises me anymore...
  16. I really liked the idea with datacrons, but they were just too hard to find. I realised that after spending 2-3 hours exploring Alderaan without finding a single one.
  17. I have tried numerous build, mostly Iron fist and Assault. Each of the builds are good in their own way. I like flexibility and playing different kind of roles. But in what role do YOU feel like you shine the most with your vanguard? Are we meant too be tanks or tear our enemies apart with Assault? Or is the truth of the matter that we can be viable in both roles, tanking aswell as DPSing? Im not saying I need a correct answer, merely want to discuss what you other think about end game pvp with your vanguard. what role do you play and when do you think we are the most viable?
  18. I was just about to post a simulair thread in the suggestion forums. And I agree with your on this Badlok. My suggestion was that I wanted too implement a "Exp multiplier" by some sort, going from 0.1 - 1, so you could set the Exp pace yourself.

  20. Haven't played much yet.. but are Vanguard assaults builds more mobile then Commando assault builds? Reason I was wondering is that my main priority is mobility but I like healing alittle bit more then tanking, but Harpoon pretty much makes it even.
