Run dxdiag to show the video card details. But if its an onboard Intel graphics card, thehn its probably going to be bad. My HP laptop has a quad core CPU, 8GB ram, and an intel graphics card onboard and it runs this game very bad.

I had to download an update earlier and it downloaded at 2.6MB/s, seems fine to me...

Same here, had a couple of friends who installed with disk. To the OP, you definitely downloaded the whole game.

If you have a reasonably modern graphics card, you can set this on the card itself.

Compared to various MMO's I've seen in the past, this has been quite a good release I think. Other MMO's including WoW had some major server problems early on, many disconnects etc, whereas this seems ok. My main complaint is the queues, they suck

I've done various ship missions too without problems.

Yes they have alot of downtime atm, but its not that bad... and there are other things to do in life you know... Go outside, clean up your house/flat/room, meet friends, work, study etc, there's so much other stuff to do than playing a game!

Dont worry, these players will quit or reroll soon enough when they realise there's no free epix and noone else to play with.

When I started playing the server I was on was Heavy population, now there's 2 to 5 hours queues(it only says 1 hour queue), so I rerolled on another server which was Medium population. My new server has queues on it too now, just cant win... It sucks having to wait 2 hours to play when my playtime in the evening is around 4 hours or so due to work, RL, sleep etc. However, when you are stuck in a queue, it is a good time to do those boring chores you dont want to do. Like cleaning up, washing clothes, paperwork(bills etc), etc.

I can think of many reasons why buying gold is bad. Lets start with the most important: 1. Account hacking - Gold sellers hack accounts, take that gold, sell it to someone and often try to hack the buyer's account too. Once you register with a gold seller, you will be sent many mails saying your account is under investigation or whatever and you should click the link in the mail to confirm my details. So not only do these sellers sell you gold, they pass on your details to anyone they like and will try to hack you so they can get more gold to sell. 2. Your details - These gold sellers ask you for alot of details including address, phone number, credit card details etc. These guys are criminals and you're going to give them all these details? Good luck with that... 3. Spam ingame - If noone bought gold, they wouldnt bother trying to sell it. So people who buy gold make the market for it, when there's a market for it there will be someone advertising it like in chat channels. 4. Spam email - Once you register with a gold seller, they can and will sell or pass your details to whoever they like which leads to alot of spam mail. 5. Its cheating - Yes its cheating, you are gaining something in game which you wouldnt normally have. 6. It ruins the economy. If people buy gold then prices on the Auction places go up. Why? Well people can afford to pay more if they buy gold, so more things get sold at higher prices. The gold sellers will probably farm less than normal, so again demand goes up and supply goes down, this increases prices for everyone. There's probably lots more!

I'm feeling the same tbh, I played alot the first couple of nights after working in the day, and now I just play a bit. Having a 2+ hour queue when I log on in the evenings doesnt help, I get home, login, go make food, eat food, watch TV etc and by then I'm kinda fedup of waiting and not in the mood for playing. People keep saying "well you could play on another server", but I did that and moved to a medium server, and the last 2 nights that server had massive queues too...

I hope they add this too. On various occassions I've used /say and people just dont see it. Chat bubbles help so much, please add them.

50 already? Some people need to get a life... I thought I played quite alot, and I'm going through quests fast yet I only got to level 20 atm. Also, I dont really see the point of leveling so fast, all that will happen is that they have to wait for everyone else to catch up, fun

Considering the amount of players that have joined now, I think its been a success too tbh. They said 5 days preorder early access, and thats what they gave everyone and there havent been any big server issues have there?
