I dont think that will work at this point in time. Star Wars has always been about Empire vs Republic, Sith vs Jedi (yes there are some exceptions but I dont think they fit the current year setting, with maybe the exception of the Hutts). Now Mandalorians may not be 'officially' allied with anyone at this moment but they do seem to be leaning in dealings for the Empire as shown by The Mandalorian War in Kotor (even if they were slightly brainwashed), the Blockade around the Treaty of Coruscant and the Bounty Hunter Class in the Empire faction. Even the Separatist movement has dealings with the Empire as pointed out in the Trooper story. Also this game is one year old... if you look at the two current factions they have 4 classes, each with full voice over; remember that it took them roughly 3 + years to develop this game (which was released unfinished) and thinking up story for class, companion, quests and a home planet dont happen over night, including the the budget of the game which is controlled by EA, with layoffs on Bioware's part including some of the writers who either walked or got the sack....and them seeming to be blind to everything but the cartel market...If however they unstuck their heads out of the sand...In the future it might be possible...Im saying in maybe another 2-3 years (if this MMO isnt already dead)...but I dont think it seems likely. Im hoping Im wrong...

New gear? The Agent and BH gear is just the same as the PVP sets and the weps are just reskins of low level weps.....As for the Sorc, Im not a fan of the head (it is basically a reskin with added satellite dish) but the body is ok. Sith War I just feel...meh really. Will you guys stop making rekins of everything?!

I found it quite easy. Even when I got ganked every 5 minutes by repubs while searching for him. Dulfy.net guide really helped me.

Unfortunately this is the case with many online games now, you see it in FPS and MMOs, hec I even got an earlful from a player in ME3 Multiplayer when the game system is co-op. As some posts have stated I think dont think its due to F2P, this issue went on long before then, but it has added to the issue. When people see a chance to diminish, bully or take advantage of another being...they take it, whether that be in real life or a game (Im not saying everyone does). This is more common with younger people but Ive seen adults do this as well. The lack of respect in this day and age is astounding. A reasoning for this may be because they themselfs feel insecure, which is the most common reasoning for bullying. Just put them on your ignore list.

I thought we all learnt by now that when Bioware states 'soon' for Swtor...what they mean is 6 months later (over exaggerating slightly). Sometimes I wish they wouldnt mention they are in the process of doing something, and state it at the last minute when they can actually implement it.

I noticed this too. I suppose its like loading a youtube vid and it says 'Buffering'? I dont really mind the Load, but I understand that it does feel almost disconnected. Im still trying to figure what the hec the background is meant to be on the loading screens..

Eh I appreciate the thought..However it seems a bit dull, like the glowing eyes from the CP, it gets old quick and really it is the 1st anniversary..could have been a little bit more creative. But thank you for giving us something I guess...

Just quickly returning to the thread...and my OP seems to have been totally ignored. This is about the increase in the numbers of 'Ninjas' or how you like to call them. This is not a discussion about if rolling for your companion is valid, even if that was pointed out in my OP or even if it is part of the reason people do roll on items they dont need. Also this might be new to people but some players can only use the PUG because they either dont have a guild to run with or they dont know people in game or they moved to another server, which i also pointed out in my OP as not to giving me an earfull about it as I already know that not using the PUG is probablly the best option. Its like everytime someone posts an honest thread it gets thrown back in their faces or the point is completely missed.

I would say Agent (Opposite to your original Agent's alignment) 100% and Warrior(again on opposite)...Im not sure about Republic classes since I havent finished any of them yet.

I can understand what your saying however the majority of PUG groups that I see still follow the class roll system (cant think of a better term for it) and loot is still priority to the people who have the stats to use it. For lower levels I guess thinking about it now I can sort of agree that the system can be altered because the drop rate is high but it doesnt change the fact that people still have the idea of the class roll priority. If we are talking about Ops or even HM gear I dont agree with it, unless everyone has said its alright to need for it.

All I was saying was there seems to be an increase in 'Ninjas' or whatever you class them as. There is no need for such a rash comment.If I had the option not the use the...PUG, I wouldnt, but I dont know very many people in game. To roll for companions is very selfish if an actual player needs the item.

The term 'Ninja' can apply to loot stealers or whatever you want to call them. Yes because discussing the loot terms will most likely stop them wether they are leader or not. This post is not me caring about the loot as I said I usually brush it off if the item is blue, but stating the large increase of them. As for the guild runs I can understand, however I dont have a guild at the moment.

Ive been around since early access and every now and again I would see loot being 'Ninja'd' from players or myself, and yes I would object most of the time, however sometimes I would be a kind person and just brush it off (especially if it was blue gear).Now Swtor has gone F2P, I am astounded how much gear I have been seeing Needed by other players who can't even use the drops; Im talking like a 'Ninja' in every group I get into via group finder (dont give me an ear full that I should play with people I know). There a four types who get under my skin: 1) People who just need everything for the hell of it. (Even green gear) 2) People who say they need it for their companion. (That really really irratates me) 3) People with no mental knowledge of stats. (This I can understand at lower levels such as BT or Esseles, but they dont seem to drop this habbit as they level up) 4) People who end up being the group leader and change the loot rights at the last minute. I dont usually get this fustrated by other players and I can tolerate a certain amount of it, but this is happeneing every single time I enter a flashpoint ! I dont know if Im just being unlucky or what. I noticed it more at lower levels such as Hammer Station and Athiss; I think I have a total of 14 items being looted from me. In the past I was polite and asked that they trade it with the 'rightful' owner of the loot (thank you Bioware for implementing that), but this only seems to work 2% of the time. Now I just kick them. I knew this kind of thing would happen when it went F2P but I thought the restrictions put in by Bioware would limit it..... Apparently not...

Since the drop in server pop around the beggining of the year I migrated from an EU server to a US server; they had the highest population at the time. Now that all the servers have merged and F2P has hit I really really want my characters from my US server to transfer over to my current EU server. Crossing my fingers that it will be available some time in the near future.

Hmm...not too keen on the look of the pack system in order to get items such as the Throne..Hopefully you can buy items like that separately if you wish but thats very unlikely since they want to reap as much money as they can. Other than that Im really looking forward to it and hopefully there will be a large amount of new players around. Edit. Also the roll system on the pack will probably be awful, I just dont want to end up getting the same item 20 times in the hope I'll get something different.

If your going to release a new playable race please oh God please let us have a Re-character creation or whatever they are called because I am not re-rolling again.Also rough estimates of release dates would be fab too because I'm getting a bit twitchy around the eye waiting for new content to come out...
