  1. This MMO also offers a lot of stuff that I have seldom or never seen in MMO's before, so for a starting MMO I have no real complaints of feautures missing. They did a good job in adding in really new features and that is what I was missing the last years in MMO's.
  2. This is the first real MMO"RPG" in my opinion. Not some boar shooter with a vague lore, but really a story with imagination.
  3. But they work as intended, only people always read more in text than they should.
  4. It's simple: If you want no queue, you should roll on a US server when you live in Europe and vice versa. Besides that, in a month or so there will be probably no queue at all on any server anymore, when the free gametime expires.
  5. I'm wondering, will those who reached 50 in no-time now reroll to enjoy the story or will they start to complain that there is no endgame, because they have to wait for weeks and months till the majority of the people reaches 50? Surely I can imagine that rushing to 50 is the challenge for some, on the other hand this game has such an interesting story that it's really worthwhile to do it again.
  6. What's your goal with this complaint, that they give you something better like Godmode?
  7. As I remember Star Wars from the 70's I could do only one thing and that was roll Empire. They are the real heroes.
  8. I chose not so accidently a server that was not on top of the list. No queues there. I hope the people that will come in now, will be wise and not choose servers that are heavy or full. Then I know that within a week they will ask for server transfers and others will start moaning that their servers are so empty. People are like cows, so I'm not very optimistic.
  9. When I logged on yesterday (8pm = primetime) there was no queue. I play on one of two European RP servers. I haven't seen an enormous amount of one nationality on that server yet. And I love it when people are from different countries on servers, that is just why I play MMO's. To get to know people that you would not encounter otherwise. It was not too busy and not too empty on the server.
  10. You registered in november when the preorders started already in july. You could easily have avoided waiting for 2 days.
  11. I've always hated queues after I logged in. Why even play, when you have to wait an hour? Even though you can walk away from the screen, you will have to check regularly, because queues often go faster or slower than the time estimated. This is much better . I got a mail when I can start to play and I can log in immediately. Also the fact that who ordered first comes first is very appealing to me.
  12. You gave me a good laugh in this thread
  13. I got more than I bargained for, 7 days instead of up to 5 days. I'm a happy camper.
  14. lol, at some people here. First I had to wait a full month for a copy of WoW after release, because it was sold out. Then after a month I had to wait at least daily for half an hour or some days 3/4 hours to get in the game (the waiting lasted months). And if it wasn't bad enough the servers crashed randomly, I couldn't finish quests because they were bugged and more. Still then was then and WoW was a nice game. Now is now and game-developers have learned that they need to find better ways to launch MMO's
  15. If you had read well, what you had bought, there was no need to complain on the forums, that you didn't receive your invite yet... this forum is just full of people complaining about just that.. It's not my fault, nor the fault of Bioware/EA that you didn't order early, because you didn't know or didn't dare to take the risk or just didn't read what were the rules of early access. I'm guessing those that most complainers are those that only pre ordered after the open beta weekends. That's why I feel little compassion with those that complain that they didn't get in yet.
  16. You said it right: Some people, the majority is working or at school.
  17. I can't imagine why people really want crahing servers, queues and what more..I always hated to stand in line for killing level 1 mobs in a new MMO. This is just fine.
  18. Really, at 9.28 am in the morning? ..Sure we have nothing better to do than play SWTOR..
  19. Nothing really, since it is common knowledge that part of the MMO players whine whatever game companies do.
  20. Empty? Not really, they are nice and busy, even though they are not filled completely yet. That makes it just great.
  21. Yesterday I received my early access in the first wave and yes, I was informed that the sooner you redeemed your code the sooner you would get access. For me this is the best starting experience in a MMO up till today in 10 years of playing MMO's. No queues, no servercrashes, no waiting for quest items, just a pleasant and relaxing playing experience. Surely I understand the moaning of people who didn't get their early access, but honestly it was clearly mentioned from day 1. Who cares if someone else will be 50 when you get your access? It won't be me anyway. I'm planning on a nice long yourney. I already played a few betaweekends before and I'm really happy with this game. Aside from some minor bugs, the cutscenes are excellent, the story makes it feel like a real rpg and I'm delighted of the effort they've put in crafting. From me, a real genuine thanks and I hope to play long time still.
  22. 21/7, I got in in the first wave, but was working at that time. Looking forward to create my char in an hour or so.
