  1. I've got a few screenshots laying around of me with 450k+ damage, 100k healing, 10-11 medals, 0 deaths, etc in 10-49 pvp. I have an entire folder of screenshots, probably 150 of them are me doing minimum 300k damage pure single target in 10-49. The best part of it all is that I had a 100% win rate against anyone and anything else 1v1, hell most 2v1's vs. other 49's. 3v1's and 4v1's were common even against guildmate teams (admittedly it seems everyone on my server is really bad despite being a try-hard pvp server). The class is the Scrapper spec for Scoundrel. My game win rate was virtually 100% (I think I lost like 1 game in Voidstar) at level 49 when I did a full twink of my character - I'd solo half their team and we'd almost always 3 cap Alderaan, full-hold gate at Voidstar (hardest to force a win in as a good player since you can't be at both sides all the time), 6-0 Huttball (hard for them to score when their entire team is struggling to get past the first fire pit lol). That must have been REALLY boring to do as a Merc though if that is what you did it as. My condolences. Edit: never had a pocket healer other than myself.
  2. Also, I've never used Shockfrozen Water or anything like that. But a Scoundrel can top themselves off in 3-4 heals and re-stealth, not hard. I do have about 600 WZ Adrenals and Medpacs (sorry nothing else to buy right now) and use them on CD regularly.
  3. I am the player he is referring to, Miras. I have never used a hack in any game I have played and would never consider it - I don't need a hack to outplay the hell out of players like the OP. I welcome my account to be reported to any Developer or whatever to check me out. I am however a seasoned pvper (rank 1 level Gladiator in WoW for example) - but I don't think what I am doing takes anywhere near the skill as doing well in say SC2 or WoW. To be honest this game has a very low skill cap, the operative/scoundrel being one of the hardest to play at a pure skill cap, but the game is easy overall. I'm honestly a bit astounded that people don't just play the game better instead of blaming other classes/hacks/other pathetic stuff for their losses. My character has been between perfect geared (100% epic gear) such as how I am geared at 49 and moderately geared (mid 40's those epics were only equivalent of same level rare gear). I was pulling off very similar damage/healing and medal results before I got epic gear (for example levels 10-39) and before I had Fletchette Round (currently best single talent in the entire game). My gear helps, but I was already 2v1-ing people very easily before I twinked - 100% due to how bad players are in this game or at least on Swiftsure. As far as how good my gear has been at different points, when I was level 48 my gear was equivalent to green gear (10 level outdated epics are bad, really bad, with bolster system) and I was still going 42-0 with 11 medals, 3v1's etc. The gear helps by like 10% or something on throughput, but that is about it. I believe I know the player that is making this post, and at the time I fought him I was level 49 (I have been for almost a week now). At 49 I have fully modded orange gear (all possible slots) with all epic gear. I have maybe 1-2k more hp than the average player and do about 10% more damage than I did when I was in blue gear.... about like the gear I see 90% of my team mates wearing when I inspect them. Other than the gear issue, this is definitely a L2P issue. Yes, I do TONS of damage - but I also pull of 3v1's (like vs you) and that should never happen. As someone already mentioned just using all your cc, healing, and kiting would easily beat me. I am probably playing this class literally at the skill cap and twinked, but even still you should be able to put up a better fight than getting mauled 3v1 and making a post to cry in the forums. What is sad is that I do this all day long for weeks and I've yet to run into opposition that doesn't border on completely 100% bad. I also use a different rotation than any other Op/Scoundrel I've talked to and it clearly works. I usually go 300k - 400k damage (pure single target) in any WZ in the 10-49 bracket. In around 1000 10-49 WZ games I've never seen another player break 300k (though I'm sure some do with AoE's). I'm not about to type out my full rotation (it varies vs. different classes) though since it obviously gives me an edge I intend to keep until people stop drooling on themselves and figure out basic math. I've watched numerous Battlemaster+ level Op/Scoundrel videos and I've yet to see one person use the exact rotation I do. I find it really humorous and flattering that you and your guild were so annoyed by me stomping you guys 3v1 all day for weeks that you blame it on hacking (as if someone can possibly hack server side data and pull off additional damage as a result) - and even make a forum post to complain. As for any additional stealth you see I re-stealth any time combat breaks and regularly pillar hump to get extra stealth off (sorry my class is more than somewhat based on opening from stealth, so I'm going to cheese you if I can) - but I can only vanish once per 2 minutes. Again if you want to say I have ever vanished more than that - please report my account to a GM/Developer or whatever and let them tell you that you are dead wrong. I think I might just leave my last few WZ's at 49 just to avoid hitting 50 so I can stomp you guys some more. To all the people who will come in and say "lololol good luck at 50 you will get stomped 10-49 is so easy" I've already played at 50 and people are no better there. Thanks to BW I'll be full BM and doing the exact same thing on my Scoundrel in like 3 weeks.
  4. This is the case. Your armor plating, hilt, and blaster barrel modify the damage/armor of the item. So the most important one to have at highest possible level are those. Armor: Plating Lightsaber: Hilt Blaster: Barrel Keep that in mind as you improve the mods on your gear.
  5. I have heard about that game yeah. I've heard it was VERY bad. So if you say that AO was the worst, then WoW is the second worst. I'm sure people who have played both would debate the issue but I haven't so I can't. All I know is that WoW is WAAAAY worse than SW:TOR because Bioware has actually thought about how to properly release a game this time.... yet people whine about the exact choices they are making to ensure a healthy launch. Unbelievable.
  6. Actually before they ended the invites for the day there was the exact same whining from you guys about not being able to play "WAAAH ITS NOT FAIR!!!" and now that you have something else to whine about (stopping invites for the day to stabilize things and run tests) you whine about that instead. Keep whining. See you in game!
  7. The best part of all the whining is that all it really shows is people love this game THAT MUCH and really want to play. They will sit through all of this and then sub for the next 5 years and play like a total addict. Thanks to all of you who came into this thread and supported the only logical conclusion to reach after today's EA launch: this game is launching smoothly, it is very popular, some people are insufferable cry baby trolls.
  8. Yep, entitlement. They are not even at the phase where people are being given what they were "promised" (up to 5 days) - we're on day 7. This launch has no reported lag, few crashes, and has been very stable. They are staggering things like this to avoid the stupidity of other MMO launches, such as WoW. What huge advantage do people get? WoW someone who supported the game longer than you and ordered ahead of time gets to be ahead by a few hours or days of played time. They hit 50 before you do? So what. You'll be caught up within a few weeks regardless. Such massive amounts of entitlement.
  9. And the best part is they will ceaselessly whine until they get access and then stop. And probably a lot of them will start immediately whining about every little pixel they don't like in game as soon as they are in. This launch is very good so far - sad that delusional and/or entitled people clog up the forums like this. I guess it can be expected though.
  10. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH. Nice troll/lie. None of what I have stated about WoW is debatable it is a fact. Go read the rest of the thread or google some stuff dude. Bye.
  11. If you actually believe that Bioware has had poor communication with us then you are beyond delusional and/or insane. They have communicated SO clearly since day one. They communicate through multiple channels (twitter, forums, website, etc.) and they communicate with updates DAILY. They made everything that is happening abundantly clear. The only people who are disappointed are chronic whiners and people who felt ENTITLED to 5 days (we're not even there yet lol!) of play when it says MAY received UP TO 5 days. I'm sorry but if you actually believe what you are saying there is no point discussing much of anything with you. Facts are facts, they have communicated clearly. P.S. - I'm sure the bug will be fixed within hours, if it is not already, and the players will have their accounts locked and or rolled back. Big deal, in every MMO that has ever come out there has been an XP exploit or something similar to get ahead and people always abuse it and then get banned. Bugs are inevitable in software - and players getting banned for abusing said bugs is also just as inevitable. Cry on.
  12. Exactly. And yet people are whining here, I don't get it. This game is dominating my face.
  13. Once I'm in I don't intend to log out unless they force me to (server reset). I'm on vacation after all!
  14. Rift was very smooth, I played it as well. This game has been just as smooth (so far). I'm sure they learned much from Rift. One part where your comparison breaks down though is this game has like 8x more people playing it worldwide (by actual release). Hence why they only let in a smaller amount today. Our EA release is actually equivalent to like 2-3x what Rift had. When Bioware posts the official numbers people will realize why they did it this way. Best MMO launch in history up until now is Rift, but for size and stability it is going to go to TOR in the coming weeks.
  15. Actually I have a very close RL friend who was in since the first beta (I didn't bother with Beta since I did not expect as much as he did). The beta community was warning Blizzard about the problems they'd have at release well before the game came out and they released into a disaster anyway. Funny how it is the complete opposite of how this game's launch has gone - clear communication with the playerbase, bugs being fixed, more bugs popping up and being quickly fixed, a satisfactory launch, etc.
