    Hk-51?

I see no evidence of that. Responses that don't quote a poster bringing up a different discussion are understood to be directed at the OP. You did state you "couldn't care less if he's the greatest thing since sliced bread", which is essentially the topic at hand. Starting a new topic would have avoided misunderstandings, which is why that bit of etiquette exists.

    Hk-51?

It seems unnecessary to exclude the people who were directly answering the OPs question. "Is HK worth the effort?" is the topic at hand.
  3. That's not true, you receive a bonus to bonus quest objectives. The larger the group the larger the bonus. If a quest has a bonus objective of "kill 30 meatlumps" you will receive 175% of the normal xp for completing this in a full group of 4. OP you need to be in range whenever credit is given for kills, objectives etc to get the bonus.
  4. It's pretty fun when you crit on a Treasure Hunting lockbox: schems, legacy gear, etc plus gemstones in general always feel like a score. The others I like are Slicing and Underworld Trading (being lucrative doesn't hurt at all). Biochem while being the most useful for endgame, feels like the least fun to me. Back when alignment mattered to me Diplomacy was fun but its lost its appeal since then. Investigation has always felt like a let-down. As for crafting, Cybertech is the jack of all trades handyman that can do a little bit of everything for everyone! I hope you find the fun you're looking for.
  5. If your whole guild embraces not charging each other you'll actually end up with more credits. If one of your guildmates crafts earpieces and doesn't charge you, now you don't need credits for earpieces. Or hilts, stims, enhancements, etc. If a crafter is short on mats (usually purples) the requester will generally provide either the mats directly, or crafting missions that lead to them, or in extreme cases purchase them off the GTN. Non-crafters find other ways to contribute to the guild (loot drops, crafting missions, credits, their time) and everyone is happy. If you get a deadbeat (we never have) who takes and doesn't contribute it won't take long for members to notice. I know you mentioned being a new guild but you may want to work towards it. Charging each other cost is fair for casual guilds getting to know each other, but making a profit off guildmates sounds terrible. There are plenty of people buying off the GTN to make your profits from. Good luck with your new guild!
  6. Read the article he linked, it is happening. After owning a mansion in that other game, getting hangars here feels like I've been divorced and all my cruddy Bothan lawyer managed to save for me was the garage. "Check out my massive man cave, echos are so cool! Watch your step though, there are cables everywhere and my cruddy lawyer will get me shafted if you break your leg in here."

    Grim Tooth

He dropped one green and one orange item for us: http://i.imgur.com/x7dcDKw.jpg As for getting to him, it's much easier if you just have a friend with a knockback. Duel, one person jumps and the other hits Force Push/Pulse Detonator/Force Wave/etc and up to the notched support beam they go. Use Guardian Leap/Rescue/Grapple/etc to get to where your friend is at then both of you jump into the cage. You currently get more of a challenge killing a womp rat, looking forward to a proper encounter with him.
  8. Just so we can get the simplest solution out of the way, have you both made it to the exact coordinates inside the buildings where those 2 spawn? There are some elite/champion mobs (like the Rakghoul Overlord on Taris) that don't seem to respawn until after the servers are reset. We found the 2 in question late on a Thursday night, it's unlikely no one had killed either in 48 hours, but it's possible the respawn issue has newly occurred or is sporadic. A response from Bioware would be appreciated.

    Grim Tooth

Ignoring the nonsensical last post has there been any new information discovered about Grim Tooth? Thanks for the info on the various champions everyone, we were still looking for 2.
  10. Once I saw [HEROIC 2] Open Communication mentioned next to this quest it dawned on me these are part of the Belsavis dailies. So it's in-game and working for me, I have credit for it.
  11. I earned the Galactic Explorer title but the bug described here makes achieving the title impossible. I was interested in the Loremaster and Beastmaster titles but those are also bugged. I started working on the Galactic Hero title recently, if it turns out this heroic (or possibly others) is bugged I am abandoning working towards Achievements entirely. We managed to get a fix for the Tython entry but AmberGreen took a personal interest in that one. It would not be difficult to fix these minor issues wrecking these achievements, a response from BW is in order.
  12. Excellent guide, I have copied/linked/stickied it on our guild forums. Thanks!
  13. We also checked here thoroughly and didn't see a spawn. We'll go back on occasion and update the topic.
  14. We did, it did not impact this particular achievement. Diranda thank you for that location, he was right where you pointed.

  16. This list isn't 100% yet, I would love any help with the final entries. The Legacy interface says "Defeated 14 Opponents" but then only lists 12. Hard to say if that's one of the many oversights with the new achievement system or if there's 2 hidden. We killed a lot of extra Elites and Champions but got no message. Dune Sea Frenzied Scyk -1323 -1601 (NW of Thorazan) Nekra the Warlord -1585 -1530 (NW of Thorazan in dead-end canyon) Brenak the Strategist -1571 -1962 (further NW of Thorazan in a small Geonosian camp) Deshor the Tactician -1700 88 (extreme Southern dune sea) Jundland Chief Roh'Saren the Red 248 -1876 (entrance @ 224 -1978) Kortawa the Hunt Master 1973 558 (SE corner) Chief Garrok 1535 -1555 (between Dreviad and Largona) Jedi Master Seigford Grey 900 -623 (behind building) Outpost Salara Sand People Zealot -87, 1762 (NW of the outpost, next to Roaring Bantha) Outpost Renner Sith Lord Towe 1223 33 Bonus Series Polarin the War Marshal - You fight Polarin during the final Militia's Trial bonus stage of the Geonosian War questline. 17. I should acknowledge that there is more good information on torhead, swtor spy, youtube etc than there was bad. Thanks to anyone who posted accurate information, it helped.
  18. My guild completed this last night, it took a very long time as there is a lot of misinformation and bad coordinates floating around the various database sites. Here's a reliable list of locations for all 21, if you're having trouble getting to a location (a couple are tricky even with the coords) think about your elevation. In alphabetical order: Ancient Sith Dreadnought 2170 -118 (entrance 2085 -139) Brakka the Inquisitor 98 2456 Boss Zraska 2263 -73 (look for this one right before/after the Dreadnought) Drakus The Devourer -264 -2196 Drumond 1818 -1022 Gorakus The Horrifying -110 1420 Grikton the Deceiver 1335 -2719 (Err-Ka Access Tunnels, just inside on the right) Kalahk The Hunter 730 1901 Kanis -1240 -1100 Kleiv The Wanderer 1521 989 (doesn't actually wander) Krakkus & Zukkus 896 505 Krukal, Gormak Seer -1225 -2538 Kurik the Defiler -730 -2493 (didn't defile any of us) Vrakus -1193 -144 Tarkunis The Watcher -909 -1285 Tittus The Destroyer 596 -620 Vitrous The Vile 2050 240 Qusak & Sorak 2057 -652 Zrak The Twisted 803 -435 Is there a better place than General to place legacy achievement guides and discussions? 19. I've had both Foreman Crusher (Karagga's Palace) and the X-37 Oppressor droid (Maelstrom Prison) get through my Unremitting. It is very dissatisfying, glad to see a yellow response so quickly.
  20. Droids now have access to better gear than the other companions or players: http://dulfy.net/2012/10/12/swtor-patch-1-5-new-droid-components/
  21. Running between his legs is the opposite of kiting. His current target cannot move towards his legs to avoid his swipe, you either just get a little closer or force him to spin around. This is bad. But if we're talking about a kiting strategy now, I'm not advocating static positioning for 7/8ths of the group. It's about leveraging Bonethrasher's current target by keeping his swipe in a predictable spot. A kiting system sounds ok for full rdps groups but if someone is kiting him that means he's moving all the time which means so is the mdps which isn't optimal. The "stop and take it" system burns him faster, it's easy to execute, and just as safe.
  22. Actually (and I'm not commenting on whether this is good or bad) you can do BoI with 10 trash pulls and the final boss fight (6 if you have a stealthie with you). I think the boss 4 you're referring to is Cmdr Folek (guarding the final console). Since he's a mini boss with no mechanics or loot I consider him a trash mob. For fast BH comms BoI & T5 are the <15min jackpots. To the topic at hand, as a tank I'm generally willing to kill bosses with drops to accommodate someone gearing up (on the rare occasion it's requested) but recommend they gear up in a sm op instead.
  23. This really is the best method, 3 on the puzzle for max speed and you will not see a single add. If you have an overgeared tank (and/or healer) you can put your 2nd tank up on the puzzle for an even faster burn. Our guild does exactly this, sometimes with a couple of PUGs with no voice and it still works like a charm.
  24. This isn't a good idea, he'll just turn around and sweep everyone who was properly positioned behind him. It's particularly bad after his smash and will get someone killed. When someone is targeted by Bonethrasher they need to stop in their tracks and take it, while the rest of the group continues to reposition behind him. This is one fight where Guardian tanks can use Guardian Leap every time it's on cooldown (when they don't have agro) without any risk, and it will help out your healers some.
  25. I'm only a few pages in but these are amazing, great writing & artwork. Thanks and keep at it!
