Seeing responses in this thread looks like all the kiddies are on the Republic side.

Sorcerer and Mercenary are almost the only classes at high level I see. And there are even more Mercenaries leveling, along with surprisingly high amount of Snipers. Marauders used to be common but I see less of them nowadays.

Oh, that was so fun. I remember getting the instant gear gain after a day of camping at the entrance. Easiest gear ever Still, BW keeps saying they are learning from other's mistakes and avoid them in their game, yet we see same old same old all over the place. Something is not right here.

Worst change ever, when I saw that in patch notes I knew something is gonna feel wrong. Now I have no idea which abilities I used and which are on cooldown, since none of them gets grayed out after use. Whoever thought of that change in BW should be immediately fired or assassinated.

With so many lvl 50 guys running around you'll do barely any dmg as Shield Tech, unless you're max lvl with gear. On the other hand, you're at least useful with guarding others. At max level you are god of Huttball and king of the other 2 wzs.

Powertech is king of aoe tanking, there is so much aoe missiles and fire it's quite silly. The only thing that prevents me from spamming Flame Sweep all day long is heat limit at 100. Plus people think "dude with just 1 blaster? Weak" and decide not to play PT. Then they are amazed how great we own everyone everywhere.

Tbh it's not only the BH gear that looks crap, but most of the classes. BW repeatedly claimed that there are hundreds of armor sets in the game, too bad all the poor ones are from pvp. They don't feel like combat at all, more like circus.

That list is mostly spot on, gotta agree with the OP. I'm not sure I agree on the pvp gear accessibility. It's too random to be called easy. If you're lucky enough you can get many epic pvp pants in a row. I'd add to the list a fix for EU maintenance hours.

The part I like the most about this part of class story is on Korriban where you gotta run through the Tomb of Ajunta Pall twice to get to Harkun and back to shuttle.

Tbh BW so far is limiting the Massive part as well, where "full" servers are capped at like 5-6k people, which was the population of "low" populated servers in WoW. And you can see it in the game world, barely any players anywhere. Full server feels like a desert if you're not on Imperial Fleet.

Get more levels.

Melee classes aren't as strong early on, and so lot's of bad players whine that their 17 marauder is weak and cry for buffs/nerfs. When you get to level 40+ and still feel weak as melee class then you're just bad, simple as that. The closer to 50 the stronger the melee classes are. I too felt my Assassin was weak around level 20, but now, at 41 I can faceroll anyone except for lvl 50 tanks with good gear. I can only imagine it's gonna be even better at 50.

Aw man, that sucks hardcore. Well, 1000 and 1000 commendations are 5 more bags at lvl 50 at least, so it's not totally bad.

Just keep buying the epic bags for level 50 and open them all at once after you get to max lvl? That's what I'm doing.

I have 10k hp at level 40 in full pvp gear, but the set with more Willpower. If I went the Endurance heavy set I guess I'd have 2-3k more, so I'd say it's fine.

Those are Guardian equivalents. Juggs have Shockwave talent and Smash skill.

A few times I got a bug that after pressing "join warzone" button the loading screen loads Imperial Fleet. It's really really really annoying if I don't want to go there, since getting through all the bloody loading screens to get on a planet is not fun at all.

If you mostly want to pve on your way 1-50 then Darkness should give you the easiest time. If you'll do a lot of wz while questing I'd suggest Madness, later on Death Field crits can oneshot weak/standard mobs and the spec in general offers more dps than Deception. Although Darkness/Madness 23/0/18 hybrid will also do great both pve and pvp at the same time, though tanking on Assassin gets better over time, so don't expect to be super tough before level 25-30.

The guy you quoted is right, you're just baddie who can't pvp. Sorcerers are nowhere near being op.
