  1. They can figure out days based on the number of people. If they take the first 200K all they do is take the guy with the latest date and say "Everyone from 21 July to 27 July @ 5pm will get in day one". What erks me is that given this, they knew well ahead of time who definitely would not be getting in and opts not to tell those people. Instead they strung alot of people along intentionally deceiving them into to thinking they had a chance to get in. That's messed up and I did not expect this kind of thing from Bioware.
  2. Aug 1 2011. No invite. I don't think they got past July 22. There are exceptions. My wife redeemed here CE Sep 30 and got an invite.
  3. Yeah, I guess no launch at all makes this game the worst launch in history I'm sure for The Chosen Ones it's been a great launch.
  4. Not that I'm ************ or anything, but pre-order date is not necessarily code redemption date. I preordered day one, morning of july 21st, but did not get my code until Aug 1.
  5. It has nothing to do with the order you redeemed. People from Aug-Nov have been let in. And for the record not everyone got an instant code after pre-ordering. Redemption date is not necessarily equal to preorder date.
  6. If you did not pre-order between 21st and 22nd July @ 9PM CST you willl not be getting into the game today. That is all.
  7. Nothing new. Mods have always been "unfair". And highly politically liberal.
  8. 900K+ pre-orders means the game launched today at 7am. Whenever anyone thinks back to TOR's launch it will be this day. Trying to hide this fact behind "oh, it's not really launch" is foolish and anyone thinking "the real launch" is on the 20th is delusional. If retailers don't ship their orders soon it's going to be the worst launch week in recorded history.
  9. MMO players are known pushovers. It doesn't matter how crappy they treat the MMO crowd. They will take it up the butt and come back for more. Everyone of us QQing about the EGa failure will be back for more... over and over and over and over.
  10. No, it won't. Her code is enetered. Her account exists. She will get her invite rather she cancels or not. A friend of mine cancelled awhile back and got invited. My wife ordered on 30 sep and she got invited.
  11. Anyone think the the extention from 5 days to 7 days was made simply to account for the large number of people who pre-ordered on the 21st? Basically, nobody even has a chance of getting in before the 15th unless you are a day-1 - 5 redeemer. And nobody is getting in today who didn't redeem prior to, let's say, 2pm on the 21st. This wouldn't bother me as that seems logical if there were simply so many pre-orders in such a short timespan. What would bother me is if Bioware knew this all along and instead of stating this lead us around by the nose with a false hope. Let's not kid ourselves. They have to have an idea of who is getting in when just based on the numbers. Rather that changes to an earlier time or not is irrelevant. If you tell me my estimated time date is wave 2 on the 15th and I end up getting the invite on wave 4 of the 14th, so be it. I'd like to know an ESTIMATE. I don't care if the actual invite occurs before or after the estimate. Some people simply will not be getting in during their scheduled 4 waves today based on their redemption dates and Biowares knows this, yet still won't give anyone a clue... not a single estimate. The level of contempt this shows for their customers is quite surprising. Hope you guys didn't waste your vacation days.
  12. My wifes in the game and can see the actual server pops. The sitee is BS. They are all light. Only the ones with the more popular names are medium.
  13. MMO players will always eat shit and call it a chocolate shake. They might scream and shout, but everyone knows they have no willpower to actually vote with their wallets. Bioware has already shown its utter contempt for us by not een giving us an estimate even though they know which date ranges have no chance in hell of getting in today. But we'll take, put a bandaid on our ********s and keep giving them our money.
  14. I'm not even sure dates matter and that's why won't say. My wife has an invite and she pre-ordered in early oct. I think it might have ben 30 sep actually. I pre-order on 21st, got my code on 1 aug. I'm still not in. And there are others who ordered in Oct and Sep who are in while people who ordered on the 21st aren't. I think the whole first come first serve thing was just a line to attach a sense of fairness to EGA. Wouldn't be the first time Bioware has flat out lied and won't be the last.
  15. This forums doesn't just edit out curse words. There were no curse words in my post.
  16. For Christ's sake, just give people a estimated date range. Hell, I'd at least like to know what the scheduled rate of invites was projected to be. If I pre-ordered in the first 10 days do have a projected chance of getting in today or only 1st day redeemers? Seriously, I don't need an exact time. People would like to know if they are, in fact, wasting their day looking for an invite that you suspect will not come today. It's like you're being ***** about this for the sake of being *****. What's the worst that can happen. You give your estimate and exceed it? People playing now (including my wife) are talking about how empty the servers are. Why are the testing the server load now? That's what the weekends were for. What are you going to do on launch when 300K people show up at once? You don't really think all your subscriptions are gonna be pre-orders, do you?
  17. His friend isn't the only one. I know you don't like to hear it, but it definitely is happening. My wife entered her CE code in early Oct. My SE is 1 Aug. Wonder who will get invited first.
