  1. I've been told all you get from these is some titles if that's what you're into. There is no other purpose to bothering with it.
  2. With Ahsoka's series coming out I'm sure it'll be switching to Jedi/Sith next.
  3. That was supposed to be a joke, guys. I thought it was obvious.
  4. Why would a new player walk all the way from the Forge back to the Jedi Temple? Or even the nearest speeder station, which is still a decent ways away. 2000 credits is likely all or nearly all your credits accumulated throughout the entire planet. For a single QT after you've defeated Orgus's prior apprentice. Who wants to run back and forth across Coruscant or Tattooine. I'd have to look up how much you get in chapter one on other planets. You're completely ignoring the whole point of QT. Speed and convenience was the whole point. As for endgame credits, that's irrelevant to the OP's complaint. We're talking about newbies. And, yes, you absolutely NEED all the cosmetic gear and neat stuff of the GTN. If you can't look fresh you might as well delete your toon. Barbie dress up, stronghold interior design and IRL political debate in fleet chat is the endgame. Get with the program, honey.
  5. I don't know what game you are playing, but SWTOR definitely does not provide lots of credits. The player market is vastly inflated compared to credit rewards. And paying 2000 credits to QT is utterly ridiculous at low levels (or any level if I'm being honest). Most, if not all, starter planet missions give less than 200 credits. The QT costs are more credits than a new player will likely make during their entire stint on Tython if the only did class story missions. It would still be a majority share even if they did every side mission too and didn't spend the money on anything else. It's 5K credits just to QT through the fleet. It's cheaper to travel across the galaxy.
  6. Simple. They don't show up unless body 1-4 humanoids.
  7. Might as well wait for Broadsword to take over. Maybe they have more common sense than Bioware. The QT debacle shows just how out of touch and incapable Bioware is.
  8. This has been asked for several times throughout the years. Maybe Broadsword will listen, but Bioware does not care.
  9. Right. What on earth is he talking about? "Tricky"? Edit: I wasn't even fully LS. I just wasn't a full-on sociopath and got double agent the first time playing.
  10. > Inquisitors who retained their force ghosts have enter the chat.
  11. Do you know of any actual character name or pictures. Nothing comes up with I try to search for Mirialan and Star Wars: Survivor. All images of Mirialan I've seen are in the green/yellow spectrum. Pantorans are the only blue skinned people with face tats I can think of.
  12. Can you provide an example of a blue Mirialan in lore?
  13. It's not a bug. Hair is removed to avoid clipping. The thing is, there are hoods that come down low enough over the forehead to resolve this issue. But they keep making those hoods that are high and make character look like they are bald. That is what they need to stop doing.
  14. There used to be no lockout at all if I recall. I want a return to that. If someone wants to leave, I say let them leave with no penalty. Because forcing me to stay does not help the team. It's the same as losing a player either way because they're going to sit in a quiet corner and open up YouTube until the match is over. It's best to let them leave so a player who actually wants to be there can step up. In GSF it's even worse because people will intentional throw deathmatches by self-destructing and/or only spawn when the participation message pops up in the case of Domination.
  15. Best to make a new character to hold that old name until you can get it back.
  16. Yes, I use a Nyko AirFlo EX controller that I can map keys to the buttons. I map the keys to whatever buttons I want.
  17. There needs to be an option to lock the bar completely while in combat. When in combat those buttons should be disabled; the ability bar lock and the UI dropdown too. People saying he should just lock it don't seem to understand how it works. I'm sure he does lock it. The issue is in the middle of a fight he is unintentionally unlocking it which then leads to all these abilities getting messed up mid fight. Another issue I've found is hitting the dropdown for UI settings. I click, but I use a controller for movement and targeting.
  18. Hmmm. Worked for me on the walkway ramp going into Jiguna. I was also able to go to Stronghold directly from the Korriban cantina. So maybe it's a bug. I had been able to travel to a stronghold from any location. It wasn't until 7.3 that I wasn't able to do so from the cantina on Hutta. But I'm assuming this is unintentional because I can travel to a stronghold from the Korriban Academy Cantina.
  19. You just go outside the cantina and you can QT.
  20. There are certain elements of cutscenes that are hard baked in that use either sword-types or gun-types. For this reason I believe any new class should be 80+ only (starting as the KotFE default). There could be some other issue you might know of, but I have not played any of the KotFE stuff. Me personally, I don't care if the melee trooper pulls out an assault rifle or sidearm in a cutscene, but I know this will be brought up. Or, if they wield their swords like juggernaut or consular/inquisitor they could have sidearms guns incorporated into their abilities (like vibroblade/scatter gun offhand weapons. The real issue is Bioware is likely to mess up all class cutscenes somehow in some unnecessary attempt to insert blades into ranged tech user cutscenes and somehow mess up all the original gun wielding combat style cutscenes. If not all class cutscenes across the board. And then never fix the bug. So I'm very weary of them making any big changes.
