I play about 6-8 hours a week and have 2 characters: Level 28 Smuggler and Level 15 Inquisitor. Do you currently find that end game is to easy? I am not even close to the end game yet. Did you think the leveling was to quick? I think the leveling is good how it is. If I played more often I may have a different opinion though. Have you cleared all end game content on at least easy mode? I am not even close to the end game yet.

I think it's more of a cosmetic thing. They probably wanted to restrict the amount of cosmetic options at lower levels to give you something to work towards.

I have a level 28 Gunslinger and as far as dialog goes, it's the most fun I've played (with Agent being my second favorite). However, using cover gets old rather quickly. I think that instead of the Cover mechanic, it should be a broader mechanic called Avoid. This would allow players to jump behind cover when it is available or simply dodge incoming attacks. It may make Smugglers and Agents more attractive to players.

Legacy panel makes me bang my head on my desk.

I thought that the purpose of Blues and Greens were so that you'd have something to reverse engineer. Then you can sell something useful like a purple item. Every purple item I've put on the auction sold within a day and I've never bothered to put any Blues or Greens up.

Game sequels that should have been made.
Ryick replied to TJBartlemus's topic in STAR WARS Discussion
Rebellion 2 (not Empire at War) I still play Rebellion occasionally and still enjoy it. It's the only PC game from that era that I still play. -
Let me know how it goes.

Is it really so hard to defend objectives without Dots?
Ryick replied to Luckorforever's topic in PvP
I'm so glad they made it so DOT doesn't interrupt interacting with objectives. I've played so too many matches were teams of opponents would do drive-by DOTs and then run run to the next objective, drop DOTs and then run to the next objective. This drive-by cycle was on an infinite loop making the match very boring. -
I got to level 27 without repeating a mission, grinding, doing a flashpoint, or doing PVP. Then I wanted to take a break from story missions and started doing PVP. On each planet I would go through and do each mission (heroics included), find each datacron, location, race, etc. Basically I did all there was to do on each planet as I progressed. I'm now part way done on Tatooine.

Why the Darkside Vastly more powerful than The Light
Ryick replied to LordOfMassacre's topic in STAR WARS Discussion
Don't the good guys usually win in the end? I guess that makes the light more powerful. Playing as a Sith Inquisitor is much more FUN than being on the light side though. -

New STAR WARS game: What would you want to see?
Ryick replied to Klannad's topic in STAR WARS Discussion
Star Wars Rebellion 2 (not Empire at War). -
I have a 4 month old son (my first child) and I can't decide in which order to show him the movies. I'm leaning to 4,5,6 first so that I can see that moment of shock when he finds out who Luke's father is, but on the other hand, that would make watching 1,2,3 considerably less interesting.

Where would you take SW if you had the keys to the kingdom?
Ryick replied to Meldwyn's topic in STAR WARS Discussion
It would seem that the majority of this thread has turned into "what would you do if you were in control of SWTOR, instead of being in control of Star Wars." If I were in control of Star Wars: Games: Star Wars Rebellion 2 (not Empire at War). Where you can build on each planet like Imperium Galactica 2. X-Wing/Tie Fighter sequel. Story-driven technical flight sim (power management, etc). Battlefront 3 (heard they may be working on it again anyways). TV: Continue Clone Wars series. TV or BluRay Mini-series: Thrawn trilogy -
This made me laugh. It's a sitcom... they are all fake.

New STAR WARS game: What would you want to see?

Rebellion 2 (not Empire at War) A new Tie Fighter vs X-Wing game Battlefront 3 -
The only time we get to see Vader in action (in the suit that is) is when he's old and out of practice. Nearly all the Jedi had been wiped out long before ESB and he probably just has to intimidate people or force choke them to get them to submit.

I enjoy playing SWTOR and I have about 17,000 lego so this is a dream come true. Check out my latest Lego creation: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/255317 I'd love some input on it.

While there are some similarities between Han and Mal, I think the main difference is in their intent and goal. Han is in the business to make money and will gladly push people out of the way (or shoot first) if they are trying to stop him. He wants money. Period. Money is the goal. Mal is in the business to be free from taking orders from anyone. He needs enough money to be free. No more. He sees money as a means to the goal. If the Star Wars movies showed more character progression for Han, my opinion above may change.

I find it funny that this many people are angry about Bioware attempting to fix the problems that the subscribers are complaining about. I guess they can't win no matter what they do. Why won't they fix this features?! Why do they have to fix this feature?!

My interpretation of how quests were developed for gunslingers.
Ryick replied to Inune's topic in Gunslinger / Sniper
While I understand the issue with not being able to choose how the fight starts like Smugglers are designed to do, I no longer dislike the way conversations end in combat. It has become a part of my character's personality to be more than willing to walk right up to a potential threat and laugh in their face before I use a flash grenade or kick them where the sun doesn't shine, sprint off to cover and turn them into Swiss cheese. It would be interesting to be able to have a conversation with the NPC target during the fight. You yelling at them from cover while they yell back at you from cover. Sure it would pause the action but I think it could make for an interesting change of pace occasionally. -
I think they need to make more visual variety in clothes in addition to allowing us to pull the mods from level 50 gear. The early days of LOTRO lacked variety as well but that was solved with cosmetic outfits.
