Melee DPS > Ranged DPS > Support DPS > Healer DPS. That doesn't seem to be the case here which means the ranged classes will get nerfed.

Bioware's shiny new toy has been exploited all to hell and they've done jack **** about it. Yeah I would say people are quitting. Expect a lot more when this 30 day mark hits. When people are confronted not only with technical issues like FPS drops, PvP queue crashes to desktop and ability delays, but also with exploits that have ruined the economy and the /getdown PvE exploit then they throw in the towel. Personally, I'm waiting to see if Bioware can finally step up and prove they can do something in a timely manner. If by some happy chance they manage to pull out of their collective asses a way to track these exploiters ill gotten gains and ban everyone accordingly along with the removal of the creds then great. If not then I'm out. I don't do buggy MMO's with exploiters as Overlords.

It's going to happen. I rolled a NE in WoW so I could Shadowmeld and then open with Aimed Shot (?) for an insane amount of damage when they came out. It was nerfed there and the openers for Agents/Smugglers will also get nerfed from stealth. SS's are largely irrelevant at this point. If it hasn't happened to you yet, then you must be playing as one. QQ more.

I'm half tempted to call BS on the OP. What X48 mobo supported 16gigs of ram? None that I recall of the top of my head. Either way OP, if your having problems, then your doing it wrong. You've got something running sucking up your available resources, your GPU is dying or hitting a thermal wall and throttling, or something else entirely. Either way looking for support here isn't going to be your best bet. Especially if you don't already know what your doing.

It's not just Nvidia. I can confirm it for both ATi (5XXX series) and AMD (6XXX series). I've tried changing drivers, resolutions, GPU configs (i.e. crossfire/SLI enabled disabled), and a fresh windows install. Nada fixed it.

Orly? Are you playing at VGA resolution? Seriously, I have trifired 6970's in my rig and it drops in the speeders and in very heavy PvP sets to below 40. Granted trifire scales like crap and I'm playing at 5760X1080, but still.... Unless you've dropped all the options to low and are playing on a terri-fuzzy resolution then no dice. Hero Engine + Bioware's Hardware = Lag for everyone at times.

Bah OP, I want arenas. I just don't want there to be the same system WoW had. It ruined any chance of ever having open world PvP. The one thing I can say for Huttball, it's a great motivator to try and find PvP elsewhere. Seriously though, keep WoW style PvP gear out of the equation and make the Arena's award cosmetics like mounts and monocles in addition to offering the same gear the current WZ's offer and I'm sold.

Snipers, Powertechs and Sorcs are all pretty good along with their respective mirrors. Melee classes definitely need some love. If your looking to faceroll pick a RDPS class.

Seriously signed. When will there actually be a reason to bring a melee class to a fight other than a tank. Melee DPS should always be higher than Ranged DPS. I've never understood why I would ever roll another MDPS until dev's figure that out. Pew Pew classes need to be brought in line in this game.

What are you talking about? Juggernaut is the name of the AC, not the tree that we spec into. If a Jug specs into Rage then according to Bioware we should be doing the same DPS as a BH or any other class.

Your not listening. I already told you you'll have to buy another laptop. You don't drop in a discrete GPU to a laptop not designed for one. Also this isn't WoW, not sure why you bothered to type that.

No, I'm telling you that the minimum requirements run the game. And if your playing with an Intel HD GPU then your barely making minimum and possibly below them. As such your getting exactly what you should. Sorry man.

And I've always thought people like you who make inflamatory statements without a clue behind the resoning of the people who chose to buy the CE's are somewhere in the region below 'not very bright.' People bought the CE's for all sorts of reasons and some people are pleased with their purchases. In case you missed the title of the thread most people are very pleease with the contents of the box. That's not the point of the thread. The point of the thread was whether the items in the CE are practical. And they're not. Try to stay a little closer on topic. What is it with people like you referencing P2W options. No one expected that and Bioware flat out refuted it long ago. We did expect what was actually promised. Reading a little bit of info about a topic before opening your mouth might save you from little incidents like this.

If your running a intel HD GPU then you should be expecting exactly what your getting. If it's a laptop, be prepared to spend a lot to get a laptop actually capable of gaming. If it's a desktop buy a GPU and drop it in. Either way don't expect anything other than what you are getting.

Yeah good point, a little official communication from Bioware about a number of issues would be rather refreshing. Unfortunately I doubt it. I expect they are going to follow the rend of many other companies and not announce or communicate a thing until they are ready to make the changes. We will probably never even get a soon. Since I'm about to start a rant about bad communication I think I'll wrap it up here haha.

And I respect that. But that makes you a significant minority. There is a reason PvP and PvE servers outpopulate RP servers. I know you can understand that, and I hope they get moving on all of the promises that Bioware has made ASAP (I still want a monocle in my CE store ). However, I believe I am correct in saying gameplay issues take priority. This is something I would expect to see no sooner than the first expansion.

Exactly. I truly can understand people who don't want DPS meters because of some elitist pr!ck in the past that had harassed them. But honestly why would you care if your not playing badly? Because they serve as a lightning rod to polarize the community? I submit that the aforementioned polarization already exists, and your choosing not to see it. Not having a DPS meter is like not showing me my DPS/HPS/Protection at the end of a WZ. I need to see how I performed to play better the next time. Arguing for no statistics is comparable to giving everyone at the end of a WZ a "Winner!" caption. I know damn good and well everyone didn't perform the same, so why should we be rewarded the same?

Hopefully after they take care of actual problems. Not to knock the LBGT players, but honestly I could care less about more traditional relationships either. To the people saying, "Well you shouldn't have purchased it without knowing what was in there first." You have a valid point. As customer's who have probably been taken to the cleaner before by the cable bill or a credit card company, we should have known better. Unfortunately, hope springs eternal and Bioware had been saying for months in forum posts, interviews, etc what type of items would be in the CE store. Granted, their answers were always vague, but they referenced armor suitS and customizationS plural in every case. Not this single item, half finished, joke of an addition to the CE. When you compare the time that at least went into the Audio disk, the statue, or even the holodancer, the CE store is a laugh in comparison. Honestly? My assumption is that Bioware tried to placate all you QQ'ers out there and ended up making it worse. To elaborate: When Bioware first let 'slip' that there would be a VIP area for CE owners, there was a mass outrage. All of you little people (that was sarcasm for the first 5 year old who has a fit) flooded the forums with QQ and my guess is that what is now the Security Vendor initially had nothing in it's store and all of the inventory spread amongst the VIP, Security and CE vendor was initially meant for the CE owners. Bioware probably had intended to flesh out all 3 vendors at some point, but release dates got to close, and they got behind. All of this is fine, and completely understandable whether that's what actually happened or not. What isn't fine is Bioware's failure to communicate once again. The moronic staff that handles things of this nature that Bioware employs really should be sacked. While I have no doubt that the CE's will still sell well, and that the game will be a success; Fraudulent practices like what has been inflicted upon us, are proven to be a detractor in future sales. People are far less likely to be burned a second time by the same company. And simply look at all the CE's that came back in stock on Amazon. Bioware did lie, regardless of whatever you naysayers in this thread claim. They made promises, albeit vague, and failed to even hold to those. Well done.

Meh not the first thing they've lied about. There was the whole Grace period fiasco. First there was one then there wasn't, and now there is again. Same with the CE vendor: "It will have cosmetic armor sets and customizations." Well it does, but certainly not in the plural. Bioware is failing admirably at communicating.
