Yes please. This game needs more appearance options desperately.

Addons aren't an 'easy-button'. They are simply tools that can show you have to maximize your damage by changing what you're doing slightly. You sound like the kind of person who would fit in great in my guild, but your performance would be lacking due to not willing to go the extra distance to improve yourself, so you'd end up getting kicked out. It's simple, if you want to do top-end content, you need to be a top-end player. It's a lifestyle, so either get with it, or don't cry when you can't do it.

I completely agree with your idea of 3 factions or no factions, as those games you listed have had by far the most interesting and successful PvP.

I know how you feel. We started with around 75 and are quickly approaching 150 now... Vent is a mess because we have 'Warzone #x' channels... it's an eyesore.

I completely agree with this. Currently, we will have anywhere between 3-6 or more 4 man groups queuing up for Warzones so that we can hopefully play together. I feel like the current Warzone system promotes PUGs (which is the exact opposite of what needs to happen if Bioware claims to care about PvP and Guilds so much) both based on a maximum group size of 4 allowed to queue, and the fact that groups break on entering a Warzone, requiring everyone to not select re-queue, but reform the group and queue up again.

Why don't you just join a guild? Competition is team-based in nature.

If you make this thread a petition thread, I guarantee you it will be locked before too long because it's against the forums rules. Edit out the petition part and turn this into an intelligent discussion if you want to get your point across.

So players can choose to go to these arenas which will let them PvP, but be at a disadvantage to them because they are using their play time to gain nothing instead of queuing up to the boring Warzone instances which reward them for doing the same thing? That makes me yearn to go there.

More WZs aren't the answer, the problem is not having any form of rewarding open-world PvP. Ilum is a joke because it's easier to trade objective captures than it is to get kills.

Yeah, it's real important to know what the definition of 'harassment' is.. Because as far as I see it, if you play on a PvP server, you're inviting things like corpse-camping and other unpleasantness.

I totally understand what you are saying, but this is a terrible idea because it would make queue times unbearable. IF open world PvP was existent and mattered with things being captured and mattering to the 'war' (a la Star Wars Galaxies, or even Planetside comes to mind) I could see this happening. As an added incentive, if open-world PvP mattered and had some sort of meaning in terms of the war, I could see population incentives such as XP bonuses or something, like Planetside.
