heads up i'm doing this right now and while i'm sure it'll help me in the long run, the issues with the servers and patching and stuff right now is giving me network errors and stalling the fresh download all over the place. so it's definitely not the faster option atm >.>

Earlier I got stuck on "reorganizing data" for the thousandth time (which takes FOREVERRRR), so I decided to turn off streaming downloading/installs because lbh what's even the point when all you can play are the starting planets anyway. Problem is, you have to reinstall everything for that, and while it was going fast and efficient when I was doing it at first, now I'm completely stuck on "network error while downloading patch data (310)". Which would make sense with what was going on atm, except I'm still downloading Main Assets 219, and not one of the patches >.> So idk if it's the current patching problem you've got going on that's interrupting the main install, or if I actually have an issue with it I need to fix. So it's a little irritating knowing I could be just sitting here wasting time if, in fact, I do need to find some way to fix that issue on my own, and its not on your end. So. Any insight would be appreciated.

I actually enjoy the level sync since leveling this game goes much too fast anyway and I'm now constantly over leveled for everything, but I do think it should be optional.

I'm terrible with jumping and I even managed to do this within a few tries. It's not that bad.

...to unlock the companion legacy bonus, I mean. It says to complete all conversations, which is why I'm like 'ehh' since I'm sure there are more conversation options when you choose to have relationship with them. I don't want to force my character into a random romance just to get the bonus though :/ So I'm hoping that it's avoidable. Logically I think it wouldn't be required, but I wanted to double-check first before I do gift spam xD

I think I've unsubbed and resubbed from WoW at least 10 different times. Sometimes I left out of boredom, some from lack of money, and some from lack of time. Since SWTOR, this is the longest I've remained unsubbed from WoW. Mostly because I don't feel the need to pay for two monthly subscriptions (I really don't have the most time in the world to play in the first place, so it'd probably just be a waste of money). Will I go back again? Probably. I can't imagine just leaving my toons for good; I worked really hard on them. Besides, I tend to have this game rotation where I'm stuck on one for awhile then move onto the next. I'm sure all my MMOs will make it back into the rotation at least one more time :]

I literally had to be four levels over the "required" level in order to solo this. It drove me nuts.

I'm really enjoying the game, personally. Yeah, there's some problems; I won't deny that. The low server populations being one of them, which can make it difficult to find groups. But this is a brand new MMO and of course there are going to be kinks to work out, so I'm not about to ***** bricks over it like some people. Besides, I like soloing a lot more in this game than I did in others - namely WoW. I mostly leveled through PVP in that since I really didn't really like the PVE in that game. So I'm glad that there are other options available to me in SWTOR that I actually enjoy while I'm waiting for the queue to pop :]

I would love it if they condensed the servers. It's ridiculous trying to find groups at lower levels now.

This is true on my server as well. Though to take it one step further, I even had a Rep help me out with a kill once (and I'm Imp). It's been bizarre but I kind of like it. We're all just there to do our dailies and no one messes with one another.

Thank you guys for your input. I've decided to try this one for the time being, and after playing it all day I have to say I'm pretty happy with it (largely because I no longer feel useless anymore, w00t.) I really appreciate those of you who took the time to reply to me :] I've found I'm a bit useless when it comes to creating my own builds, lol.

As Corruption is completely useless now, I'm going to have to respec; which is unfortunate, because I really loved healing. And while I can solo alright, I realized tonight (like a slap in the face, I might add) that trying to heal a group now is a friggin joke. So, time to try something new I suppose. Have any of you found a decent build after 1.2 that gives good DPS? I know some of you are just going to tell me to reroll, but I've put alot of work into my sorcerer and would like to continue playing her if I can manage. So if any of you have suggestions on which way I should go with this, I'd really appreciate it :] ETA: I should probably mention I'm looking for a PvE build.

I'm not too happy about the changes myself, but I'm not going to act like a child and stomp my foot over it as I unsubscribe (as I've seen many doing). That's ridiculous. If Bioware listened to the other classes complain, I'm sure they'll listen when they realize they took too much away from us. It hasn't even been a full day yet; people really need to learn patience. Besides, what's stopping people from leveling their alts in the meantime, if it's really that horrible? I'm still trying to see if I can work my Sorcerer in a way I'm happy with, but if not I have other toons I could be playing. I'm glad this thread isn't primarily a whine-fest. Stuff like that is never going to get us anywhere.
