  1. 700,000 damage per second is a lot to heal through, what class were the healers? Also I am pretty sure you can solo every raid boss in the game with that damage per second.
  2. Yes. If you set it to attack or whatever you want, right click activates 1. Annoying but completely able to be worked around.
  3. Reminds me of a post my old GM made, in which he had his drivers license and cellphone for entire guild to see.
  4. No class is "Expected" to be a healer in PvP. So I wouldn't worry about it. Just be ready to read chats of "Tracer noob" whenever you kill someone as arsenal
  5. The way the zones are designed, empire and republic are very segregated until you hit ilum and a few quests actually throw you in the same area. As for missing people on the same planet, a few notes. 1. Each planet is fairly large, and usually segmented (ie stay at X for first 5 missions, then Y for next 5) 2. Each planet is rather limited in levels you use it on 3. If you actually listen to all the missions dialogue, you could literally had dozens of people walk by you and you never noticed. 4. Lots of missions end you up in phased dungeons that is all to yourself, this takes away from the group aspect but allows a more controlled environment for the mission. As for twi'leks. They just aren't popular. For empire I think I have seen one (i think only inquisitors can even choose them). Of course Chiss are also very Rare for us. Basically anything not human or sith is rare. (I am counting cyborgs as human as it is unable to tell difference over half the time, actually played with someone for probably 20 hours in game and they said "I didn't even know you were a cyborg!")
  6. While I appreciate your effort and real numbers, the point was a direct response to the statement "Salvation does not scale with group size". Which while accurate in a purely technical sense, is completely inaccurate in actual in game results. I am a merc, so I am already well aware that kolto bomb is just a little bit more than sneezing at any actual aoe damage. Also the ground effect is counter-intuitive. It looks like people should be able to stand in it to heal, but in fact once the graphic is out, you have already been healed or missed. It should just have the quick-disperse cloud for clarity's sake.
  7. Georg Zoeller, In a recent QA with Bioware you stated that Salvation/Revivification does not scale with group size. I wanted to enlighten you on a fairly simple fact, that while the numbers do not change, the effectiveness does increase, and therefore scale. In a 4 man group, the max targets Salvation can target is 4, so for 100 force, you could heal 4000 damage maximum (assume it healed 1000 total for easy math). However in an 8 man Operation it can hit a maximum number of 8, but realistically the likelihood of you being able to have all 8 members (including the tank who is usually facing a mean boss away from the raid) is almost nil. So in an average scenario we will say you can get 5-6 in a target for max healing, meaning you get 5-6k total healing for 100 force. Lastly in a 16 man operation, it is quite possible to hit your max targets of 8 players for the full Salvation effect, meaning 8 targets, for 8k healing. So the same spell does 4k, 6k, or 8k healing, based on the size of your group. That is an ability scaling with group size. Maybe not in a technical sense (actually in a direct technical sense from 4-8/16 man) , but in practical in game usage, it does. Thanks for your time, Dave
  8. The issue is that the water was in no way shape or form equal to all players. Only those who had Vanish-esque abilities to instantly drop combat (even in pvp). Us non-stealths have to wait a solid 10 seconds before dropping combat to be able to use water. So yea, everyone could get it, but only stealth could use it. Apples != Oranges.
  9. For what its worth the March update is supposed to add a new battleground which is same-faction enabled. So it will throw some variety in there for you.
  10. So I put in a support ticket saying I did not know how to turn on my combat log. Low and behold, the feature I have read a thousand complaints about missing is right there! (according to some) BAM combat log is now in and working! Thanks Bioware! Or a customer support could have not ever actually been trained about issues regarding the game.
  11. I honestly believe part of the reason they are missing the log is just so you can't see on record how messed up some parts of the game are. I believe its much more in-depth problem than personal logs vs everyone's, as anyone could write a script in a few minutes to take the raw parsing then filter out any lines that do not mention the players name (giving or receiving). Obviously this script would be on server side, before any text made it to the client. At any rate. Transparency is good. The logs ARE being generated and likely kept for a while server side. Allowing players to see them just allows people to more accurately gauge themselves and to help provide accurate information on bugs.
  12. I actually was thinking one thing that would help is if you were ever within 10m or so of the "roads" on the map to get some kind of speed buff.
  13. QFT And again Quote for truth. This would be awesome as it would let you have more demand for crafted gear as you could customize it in some regards.
  14. While they are at adding orange weapons they could add ctrl-click working to preview them also.
  15. No that would be fine by me. I hate that there are SO many armor models in the game that are just ignored because they aren't on end tier items. "I DO NOT WANT TO LOOK LIKE A CARBON COPY OF EVERY OTHER BH"
