  1. A single target variant build which will have no rage issues what so ever and you will always be on the target with obliterate/force charge. 6 second 100% critical force screams and 9 second smashes. Only catch is you won't have 100% critical chance on the smashes. Points can be put into either eviscerate or draining scream, whichever one you prefer. You can also put the 2 points of the improved sundering assault and put them into draining scream that way you have double dottage for the slightest dps upgrade. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#101cMZIMr0rhddZG0RMz.1
  2. Thanks, you can also check out my hybrid build post on the jug forums as well, with which I feel as though I deal much more damage.
  3. This is also multiplied for the hybrid spec as all smashes are 100% criticals, do the math. The person above me is correct in saying that unyielding gives a great amount of rage in pvp as rolling with healers, I want people attacking/ccing/slowing me for unyielding, endless rage and pooled hatred.
  4. Your welcome, the only thing you will feel is that thirst for more rage all the time but the damage boost was worth it for me. Basically that along with the fact that I've been training at the gym hardcore for a couple months now and I will get more out of putting more time at the gym and going to university rather than playing a game where I have nothing to do. Also Tera and Guild wars 2 are on the horizon and after playing CBT for TERA, SWTOR just does not seem appealing to me as a gamer anymore. I'll see if I can get some footage and put up a video of ripping some people apart before my account subscription expires.
  5. Yes, Shii-Cho makes it so smash is 9 seconds and force scream is 6 seconds. Savagery lasts for 9 seconds and is not used up in 1 usage which means you can use scream with almost 100% critical chance twice. Decimate/Vengeance/Force Alacrity = Force scream CD = 6 seconds// Smash cd = 9 seconds. I also felt the thirst for rage since I tried this spec with Shien form first but I couldn't pass up my two main 100% critical abilities being 3 seconds less and also the second being able to have a double usage from one 9 second savagery buff.
  6. Yes, you're right anyone can push out 400k+ dependent on the circumstance of the opposing group compositions but sadly I've only seen 1 jug and no guardians do it on my server. But the fact is this is a hybrid build for people who would like to not have to rely on shock wave nor are suited for single target vengeance play style but a bit of both. That's the whole point of this post. I could care less either way since I quit in 2 days. I'm just trying to pass on the best spec I made and used in the time I played my offensive dps juggernaut in swtor. Whether you try it out or not is up to you. Peace.
  7. The 1 point for 33% for the force scream actually goes off more than you think and it saves me quite a bit of rage as I used obliterate and force charge whenever they are up. Ofcourse the rage problems would be solved if I were to get 2 more points in this skill but then the build just wouldn't be the same. As for the 2 points in accuracy that is just my preference. Even with 2 points in acc talent, my accuracy is still only 93.45% since I'm full surge/ap stacked BM PVP gear. Basically I gave up 2 talent points for 2.50%~ surge rating. You could put the same points into something else but those are points that can be moving around to your liking. As for the 1 point in battle cry I will try to put it into perspective. For me, 33% chance to conserve 4 rage on a 6 second cool down ability is better than 50% chance for 1 rage on sundering assault. If I had 5 more points this build would **** all over people's faces but alas, you work with what you got. My survivability feels about the same, in all honesty. Whenever I roll solo I always get focused by 5 people so I try to ninja turtle it and kill people 1v1 or 2v1. I know not having huddle is kind of meh, but i've basically thrown away any defensive abilities and focused it all on offensive abilities to try and put forth the most balanced solo/aoe dmg possible without having to rely on shock wave because I HATE RAGE SPEC WITH A PASSION. As long as the build's key points stay the same you can move around the other points as you wish. No build is set in stone.
  8. I think it was a full pve marauder with 2 sunders on him and it was an impale crit, not vicious throw. I had warzone expertise/relic on along with pooled hatred stack.
  9. Some snap shots of match end damage. I have to say, once I respecced to this build, I've never gone back to any other build. The spec is my parting gift to the jugg community who actually want to try it out and test their luck. http://i44.tinypic.com/34rwvnm.jpg http://i40.tinypic.com/vqm891.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/4lndjm.jpg
  10. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#101zZIbr0rhdzZGbRrzb.1 Alright so I made this hybrid jug build and after 4 matches did 565 k dmg in voidstar. You need to understand the theory behind this build before you try it out. Your main skill will be FORCE SCREAM and SMASH, but the catch, you will also have impale and obliterate and the modifiers that go along with the two. You will have Savagery for 60% critical chance to force scream and vicious throw and 100% critical on smash. This basically means you can put your critical down to around 23-25% and have the highest AP/Surge stack possible, I’m at around 435 AP and 77.50 Surge. You still want around 30% with the OPS critical buff because that coupled with the 60% crit from savagery and 6% from malice that will still give you 96% critical rate on force scream/vicious throw. Now here’s the catch you have 2 abilities that give you 100% critical rate on smash and now you aren’t tied down to shockwave. Now you will be able to use a 100% critical smash ALL THE TIME WITH NO RAGE COST. Now comes the part as to WHY would I use shii-cho stance instead of Shien form and now I’ll tell you why. 3 seconds off of FORCE SCREAM AND SMASH. This will put your force scream timer down to ONLY 6 SECONDS and your smash timer down to 9 seconds when coupled with Vengeance, Decimate and Shii-Cho stance+mastery. You have the Savagery “buff” on for 9 seconds, so basically you can do force scream twice since the cool down is 6 seconds in between the 9 second Savagery buff for a semi-long range skill with 96% critical chance. You also have the impale for burst damage and moves such as unstoppable and pooled hatred to make this build ever better. This build is non-stop solo/aoe dmg. Never “conserve” the smash for big aoes unless you see a cluster but just go in there and **** with your 100% critical abilities. Now with all this, you also get another ability which also procs 100% critical for smash and this is Obliterate, one of the best abilities you can get as a jug to get back in melee when punted or if you’re in hutt ball and want to jump up to the second floor on to a pesky sniper. Basically use enrage>charge>smash>sunder>impale>force scream> if you don’t have enough rage for another force scream do sunder>ravage 2hit>force scream>rage builder/push>obliterate/force charge>smash and cycle through these abilities. ALWAYS use force scream after impale twice as it is A 96 PERCENT CHANCE TO CRIT TWICE IN 6 SECONDS. Now, I have noticed one thing and that is the fact that I don't use vicious slash all that often even with the modifiers which is why you can change the 2 points from Brutality to Stagger in the Rage tree. The only catch to this build is rage management once you have this down and the rotation perfected you will **** especially with ap stacked pvp gear. Caladan Brood out.
  11. You seem to care enough that you had to reply to this thread. Since you have such great input in this thread all I can retort with is.... ujellybro?
  12. Also if anyone wants to test out my new hybrid build with which I was able to get 565k solo DMG vs a BM premade, you can private message me and I will write down a detailed walk through of the build itself and why I chose the skills that I did. I'll be quitting the game in a month or two so I will leave behind something the community can use, hopefully. But for now, Second video coming soon!
  13. The damage is quite impressive but it doesn't seem like you were able to "one up" me on pure damage even though what you stated is what you ended up doing yourself, in the end. Hypocrite much? Most people like to stroke their egos and that's fine with me, but it seems to you missed the objective of my post completely which is why I wrote a detailed message stating what the reasoning behind this post was. It was my fault for not going into detail simply because I was tired and just wrote "pew pew" but it is good that we have fellow Guardian/Juggernauts coming out of the wood work wanting to also post their snap shots of damage to show the less fortunate ones how much damage the class is actually capable of. Be it Vengeance, Rage or a Hybrid of both.
  14. As Herew said, the reason for posting the damage was not to show the damage itself but to show that a hybrid Veng/Rage build can be as functional as a full Rage or Veng build. Right now I see a lot of haters and people pointing out that I lost and such or the fact that I didn't have enough protection. That is because my damage was not all aoe as I was trying to focus the opposing team's healers. I guess I was just tired at the end of my night shift and didn't feel like making a detailed post with the full build and walk through of the specifics which is my bad. I don't feel the need to go in depth with my build as of right now as mostly all the responses are full of negativity. If you would like a low down on the hybrid build and to try it out, just private message me and I will give you the low down.
  15. I rarely ever get out damaged by any class when I go specifically for damage with a dedicated tank/ball carrier in my premades. The only time I even use aoe taunt/soseru is when I roll premade and my main healers are being focus fired. I'm almost rank 70 now and for pugs or if you solo queue I would never go soseru or guard anyone unless I have competent healers in the group because that is not how I play. Throw the occasional aoe taunt in for clusters like civil war node battles or fights like the first mid battle in any hutt ball. It's all situational, if you are against a good premade with good DD's you will probably need to go soseru form/intercede/taunt/aoe taunt more or if it's a group of baddies and you can just rip everyone apart. Tank jugs take no skill what so ever to play for pvp in my opinion, maybe a tiny bit for ball running but even a retarded monkey can do it, but that's just my opinion. Which is why there are so many tank jugs and not enough dps ones, because it actually takes skill comparably to marauders/sins/sorcs/powertechs/mercs. I'm talking about Vengeance spec here just to clarify, not the Rage 1 trick pony btw. I'm just tired of bad juggernauts crying about not doing enough damage. You can do a lot of damage, you just need to work at it and perfect your rotations/stats to fit your build.
